With two of the best total package workers in WWE being former main eventers in ROH. Chikara's strongest Swiss among the most over newcomers, the United states champion straight out of Combat Zone, & half of the former Tag Team champions being a former Ring of Honor heavyweight title holder, how long until we can have thorough collections & pic Feds using Mattel to portray the best Indepent circuit promotions & rivalries of the last 13 years?

A bit too philosophical to my liking. But I'd buy any jobber/mid-carder Mattel decided to make.

A bit too philosophical to my liking. But I'd buy any jobber/mid-carder Mattel decided to make. Considering the paradoxical nature of your username, I'll chuckle & pretend that was a joke. Seriously though, with every figure JAKKS made in the Classic line, you were building a collection of the finest workers from AWA, Mid-South, Crockett Promotions, Munchnick's St. Louis territory, Stampede, Amarillo, WCCW & all the best territories of the 70s, & 80s. When you buy Mattel's figures of prior decade stars, you're predominantly assembling roster sections from Ohio Valley, Deep-South, ROH, TNA, & parts of Canada along with Japan(Sparingly anyways), so it's easy to create classic non-WWE feuds with WWE figures. For example: Ted Dibiase Sr. vs Jim Duggan(Mid-South) Sgt. Slaughter vs Curt Hennig(AWA) Bob Orton Jr vs Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat(JCP) Undertaker vs Kamala/Kerry Von Erich(WCCW) Rey Mysterio vs Eddie Guerero vs Tommy Dreamer(ECW) Vader vs Cactus Jack(WCW) Arn Anderson&Tully Blanchard vs LOD(NWA) Bret Hart vs Junkyard Dog(If he was made) (Stampede)

Humbug intellect or wrestling junkie in solitary confinement. They say misery loves company.

Ohno,Crowe,Cesaro,Ambrose,Zayn. I don't think CZW gets enough cred for the talent that they actually have/had. But I can't wait for a crowe fig!

Cesaro had a pretty brief stint in czw but I agree, they're feeding the wwe as much as any Indy I can think of right now. I know guys who work there that firmly believe Adam cole is gonna get the call. I personally can't see it but if the wwe doesn't scoop up ar fox immediately they'll only be screwing themselves.

If they sign Adam Cole, is it still cool to chant "You suck d*ck!" at him?

I used to live in jersey and CZW always had shows my buddy always actually tried to get me to go. I always would watch it on tv too. It's just a little too rough. People get hurt too often and the workers are unsafe and stiff (because they are told to be). I personally love the product and it's violence and stuff but a lot of people think it's trash. And for that it gets written off in a lot of people's minds.

You pretty much described me twice, but with one exception. I'm a tutor with a needy family & so I'm nowhere near as secluded as I'd like to be.
Sad thing is you're trying to harm my morale with those words.

The men who performed there are talented in spite of having earned money through working the glorified, modern day Gladiator pit.

Talented... Hmm. Perhaps. But they bring in so many goddamn nobodies who just bleed all over the place and mess up spots that it's just a total joke. Then there's a guy like Masada, who is interesting. I've seen him in Japan and he's a messy wrestling for sure.

The men that performed there who are talented(Cesaro, Ambrose & the various real workers who came through) did NOT become talented from working there.

B/c Ohno, Cesaro and Zayn arent really considered CZW guys. They worked there...so did CM Punk and Mike Quackenbush...would you consider them CZW guys? Ohno and Cesaro would be Chikara guys first and ROH guys 2nd. Zayn is more PWG and ROH than CZW.

Pretty sure most of those guys became talented and just kinda wrestled in CZW for the sake of wrestling. No chance they wrestled anybody there that taught them anything.

Ohno and Cesaro would be Chikara guys first and ROH guys 2nd. Zayn is more PWG and ROH than CZW. I definitely consider chris hero a czw guy. He worked there for 5-6 years before moving onto roh. For most of that time he was working for chikara too but czw just runs more shows. Same is true for generico to a lesser extent, but he even worked a match for czw earlier this year. Cm punk worked one match for czw, quackenbush worked there for years, was a champ and a bob winner (ironically defeating cesaro in that tournament even though I don't consider cesaro a czw guy) so you can't compare their involvement in czw. You could actually make a case for quack but the fact that he began to work exclusively for chikara and is still associated with them to this day makes him more of a chikara guy. Not calling hero a czw guy would be like not calling Adam cole a czw guy just because he won the roh belt.
