Funny how none of the XBone or PS4 games are reviewing particularly well (most seem to be around 7 to 8.4) and yet Nintendo releases 2 new games at the same time as the other consoles launch that are being reviewed around 9.4, 9.6 out of 10. Ugh. 7 is "good." 8 is "great." Not reviewing particularly well? I hate this sh*t.

Yeah I got my XBone last night, and the only gripe I have is the long install times. The voice commands and TV interaction work great. Haven't had a lot of time to play yet, but NBA2K looks just fantastic and plays great too.

However, with the way review scores are handed out today, a 7 is basically average. I mean IGN is probably the worst. Very rarely do you see any game that has moderate hype behind it, end up with a score below 8.0 at IGN.

I'm curious to find out which one had the most sales.

A 7.0 may be the average score when it comes to how common a score is handed out, sure, but that doesn't effect what that score means at all. All that means is that games are getting better. Games with hype behind them, more often than not, get better scores because the publishers know the game is good and that's why the marketing dollars are spent to make sure the game is hyped. Look at a game that has no TV spot and review websites don't get sent an early copy vs. a game with TV spots, web ads, reviews out weeks in advance, etc. One of those publishers has a great game they're confident in, the other doesn't.

I really don't have a problem with Xbox One's 900p resolution, it's beautiful on my TV. The only thing I don't like thus far is that there's no longer notifications for friends signing in. My buddy told me he was online to play Battlefield and I had told him, "uh, no you're not, it didn't say you had signed in." I hope they add that in the future.
