There are no words to articulte my outrage & disgust with such a nonsensical endevour. They were dumb enough to allow these titles to lose prestigue, & it will be their own, damn fault when this blows up in their face. They keep raping themselves of their identity & everyonr even MORE reason to believe that the "World Entertainment" will soon be a disappointingly, irrelevant reality. This is bloody ridiculous. What are they even going to call it? I didn't know I had a Phil! What on earth are you talking about? |

Just saying, if you unified the us(United States) and ic(everywhere else) and combine them.....wouldn't that make it a world title?
Oh and ps, if they unify them they better keep the ic belt and get rid of the us.

For the people saying we need 2 mid card titles, just look at how they are treated now. I don't think they are willing to put forth the effort to make both of those titles prestigious.
I think this idea makes the most sense right now. They can always reintroduce the title down the line like they've done in the past.
I wouldn't bet against Big E if this match happened.

I hope Big E wins, hes been on a good hot streak as of late and lately has proven himself worthy of holding both titles by performing well in big matches. I don't think the titles mean anything when the SHIELD has them, as they are popular enough as a unit that they don't need any titles to elevate them. And dude, chill about Ambrose. He's not even that good. In WWE he hasn't proven once on the mic or in the ring that he is a top dog. And big e and reigns have?... Ambrose has been the mouthpiece for the shield since their debut. Him and Rollins also have carried the in ring load for the group as well. |

I am fine with it. I never liked having them both around anyway. But there is no way they keep the US Title over the IC title. If they do this, Big E wins, and it stays the IC title.
Now what WOULD be cool, would be a best of 7 title unification series. Have past champions weigh in on the importance of both titles, even argue over which is more prestigious. Actually build this up. But instead we will get a one off match with no actual feud.

Simply winning an ec with only the ic title on the line would be a big deal. Throw him in with Ziggler, sandow, fandango, reigns, and Barrett and have big e run through all of them. |

One world title. The royal rumble in 3 weeks. That ties up the wrestlemania main event. So I'm thinking Elimination Chamber to unify the US and IC titles. What else can they do for the chamber with no secondary world title.

Big E Langston
Fandango
Kofi Kingston
Maybe even RVD or Jericho if they're back in time. I'd like to see it.

It would take away some of the appeal of whatever they have planned for wrestlemania. And I doubt they put RVD and Y2J both in so the above would be my choice. |
