The figure gods have heard us! Would prefer a 18x18 or 20x20 ring, but this is just as good! Finally WickedCoolToys make something decent!

I'll buy it, if the posts aren't plastic. One thing I can't stand is turnbuckle posts sagging in. I fixed the mat on my basic ring to not be "springloaded", so if it were bigger it would be perfect due to the posts not sagging. Hopefully they do what Mattel do with their posts.

is Mattel losing the license? I hope not. I'd ball.

This is exciting news. I do have to express my discontent about the Ring size.

Be nice to see pics but if it's just a cheaper RSR i think i'll pass.. Could be tempted if it is a Smackdown ring however, just says WWE and no mention of which ring skirts.

Hopefully the release of this ring will bring the price down on the ESR.......
Either way, 2014 seems to be a good year for those of us that didn't have a chance to get a ring that's to scale before now.
And as some have already said, I do wish it was slightly smaller......

Why do some of you guys want 18 by 18 or 20 by 20 instead? 22 by 22 takes up too much space?
I have the first RSR but didn't get any of the others or the Mattel ring - they are expensive and take up a lot of space. But if this one looks cool I might pick it up - if the price ain't crazy.

Upon further reflection and taking measurements of my RSR and ESR I urge everyone to take a look at the true measurements of these rings. Both the RSR and the ESR were advertise as being 22 x 22 inch rings but this is not completely true no matter how you look at it. At best these measurements are close but according to my tape measures ( and yes I used a couple different ones to make sure. And trust me i have measured these rings over and over again to make custom skirts and canvases for my own amusement. There are two ways to measure these rings. The first is from outside post to outside post. Now since these rings have posts that lie on the outside of the ring and are not carved into the corner (like real rings) this leads to a larger measurement from post to post that is different from the base side to side measurement. The ESR has a post to post measure of 23 inches and a base side to side measure of 22 and 1/2 inches. The RSR has a post to post measure of 21 3/8 inches and a base side to side measure of 20 1/2 inches.
So this means that the Jakks ring that claimed to be 22 inches was slightly smaller (and Ideal if you ask me) and the Mattel ring was larger than 22.
All I am saying is there is a chance that this new ring that is being touted as 22 inches may not be as over sized as we may fear.

I am happy this is happening, however 22x22 is to big... if the average WWE ring is 20' x 20' and every wrestler is pretty much 6' - 7'+, wouldnt that mean the ring should be no bigger then 20"x20" in order to be scale with the current line of figures (6" -7")?

I'm interested. I have the RSR HITC and the old school blue cage version. Never had the chance to get the ESR. I'm glad other rings are coming out. If any of my rings break i'm not trying to pay ebay prices to replace it. F that.

I'm glad that there's gonna be another ring coming out this year. Once the pictures hit, I'll probably make my decision whether or not to buy it. I just hope that the price isn't astronomical. If it's in the $50-$60 range, I'd be happy.

Hope its outstanding and Jeremy has always worked hard for our community...hoping for the best.
