Wish it was 18 x 18 or 20 x 20. Either way good news for people that want it. I expect $79.99 or more. 80 bucks?! Wasn't the first Mattel ESR 60 at retail ? And how much were the jakks ones?

I don't get it. I just don't get it.
You people begged. And begged. And begged. And begged. And paid ridiculous 500 dollar eBay prices. And then begged some more.
And then they finally announce that a new real scale ring will be made. And half of the comments in the thread are people bitching that "it's too big". Seriously just don't post. You are the ones that ruin everything. You're the reason we don't ever get what we really want (or have to wait several years for an off brand company to make one)
Legit I've not once seen a thread announcing new figures or accessories that hasn't been drowned out by nit picking and complaining. STFU AND BE HAPPY WE ARE GETTING ANY NEW RSR AT ALL.

I never once asked for another official scale ring, however, I've been wanting something in between a superstar ring and an official scale ring for years now. I suppose this is good news for those who didn't pick up one of the countless other official scale rings, but for those who have been wanting something a little smaller, it's a bit frustrating to see yet another one of these released.

I am not gonna comment on how its too big, that remains to be seen. However I would just like to state we DO need a larger ring but do we need, cloth aprons, foam turnbuckles, cloth mats, steel posts die cast, and other 300 small pieces for this ring? I honestly would just want a standard basic plastic ring just like the one mattel makes but in the real scale. Now really guys who would not want that? it would be sturdy easy to setup and move peices that would not get lost and look just fine. I am greatful that there is a new ring comming out but I would not want to pay over 45-50 for it and with the sounds of this its gonna be 100 plus, or at least 90.

I never got the chance to get an ESR, i'll pay whatever price for this as long as it's under $200.

I own an ESR and it's too big. You want authentic? Then why don't you bitch to Mattel for real leather strapped gold plated title belts? You know why you don't complain about that? Because it's not practical. So enjoy your 22" x 22" masterpiece.

It's too big, I don't have room for it. All I've ever wanted is an updated ring the size of the Hardcore ring: something bigger than those horrendous spring rings but that I can set up somewhere and leave it without it taking up half the room.

I think collectors are the prime consumers for this ring. So I expect collector prices. Didn't the Mattel ESR ring not sell well at retail? That being said, NO PICS NO PROOF!

That's one of the most close minded and tired opinions one could possibly have. "You and your opinions are irrelevant because of your favorite wrestling character." exactly how I feel about your little soap box speech. "be grateful we're getting anything at all" crap, gimme a break are you not a consumer? Do you not have an original opinion of your own? I wish we had a thumbs down button. And yes, Ryback still sucks.

jack, sorry Rybackv1 - it's one thing to have a stiffy over a 22" x 22" ring, but it's a whole other thing to pigeon-hole others who have a different opinion as "you are the ones ruining everything." <-- do you see how childish and harsh that sounds? you've stereotyped a whole bunch of people that want a smaller ring, that have been asking for a ring in-between an ESR and stunt action ring.
You come off sounding like a meat head.

I was going to order the new ring from that super place but good thing I didn't. I'll wait for this version.

Sounds great, but it also sort of confirms Mattel isn't making another ESR. Jeremy knows his stuff so hopefully we get a chance to buy event specific aprons and accessories.I really hope so!
