Do you know the full story? Because if you do I would like to hear it. For this particular incident, no one knows the full story. For multiple incidents in the past, including the MitB 2011 fiasco, the story goes like this: Punk doesn't get his way, Punk throws a childish temper tantrum. From what I remember, all he did was he told the guys in the back he was planning on leaving after MitB if we didn't win as he was tired and thought he was being under utilized. He wasn't asking for a release, all he asked for was a ball he could roll with or he wasn't going to resign. WWE realized "hey, maybe fans might want to see someone other than R-Truth and the Miz." Cena was already set to face the Rock so why not start setting up the feud. If you asked your boss a raise at your job or go accept another job that was offering you more, would you consider that b*tching or a good ultimatum?

Don't blame the guy. Him feuding with corporate Kane is something no one wants to see, including Punk himself apparently!

My wife hates Punk because in her words...."He is a chaparito" She like Vince, likes the big wrestlers...She is thrilled with Batista being back.

Imagine if punk and Bryan left for tna along with some more people. They could put up ratings If Hogan, Nash, Flair, Sting, Booker T etc couldn't boost TNA's ratings why would Bryan and Punk boost them? cause Daniel Bryan is so popular

Eh, I'm leaning towards two ideas....
a) This is a complete work, the beginnings of "Triple H VS. CM Punk" at Wreslemania XXX.....
b) This is legit, but they'll iron things out in a few weeks and Punk will be back...
Seems to be a typical CM Punk tantrum, should blow over...

I wish Ambrose would get released and do goofy oversells somewhere other than WWE You and me both. #CZWWorldChamp! How he did not catch hepatitis or develop the usual crack addictions of CZW "talent" is beyond me.

If this was a one off event, then certainly, I'd say he has every right to better himself. The problem is, this isn't a one time event. He has threatened to leave the company multiple times when he wasn't happy with even the slightest detail. Even in his DVD set, multiple agents said that Punk is hard to deal with. Punk himself said that if creative brings him an interview or angle that he doesn't like, he will rip up the proposal and throw it in their faces. I'm not saying that he has to play ball all the time, but it makes his threats less intimidating when he is constantly making them.

Good for Punk. He's one of my favorite wrestlers all time and I will prob miss him more then I miss seeing Jericho but good for him standing up for himself.
Dude wants to be the best and he has the ability both in the ring and on the mic to be the top guy, they just won't let him be THE guy.
With Cena, Batista, and now Bryan and maybe Sheamus as your top faces, that doesn't leave a lot of room for Punk to be in top programs.
Now if he comes back after Mania or Extreme Rules as a heel vs a face champion Bryan, I would hug the WWE

If Punk does come back, do you turn him back heel already just so he can be in an important program?
