If Punk returns and is thrown into Orton/Batista match then my respect for Punk will be lost. It would look like Punk was only coming back just because he's in the main event of WM30 and that is just as bad as Batista coming back, winning the Rumble and main event WM30. Punk coming back for that reason would make him look like a total egomaniac especially since it's after his walkout from WWE. I agree - he should not be rewarded, part of being a team player is allowing others to have the spotlight... Punk walked out because he felt he should be in the "main event." Giving him the main event validates his actions.... |

I am happy to have him back but , this means Dolph ziggler should wine and he will main event Punk is one of the top draws and a main guy. Sadly Ziggler has never been given a real shot so they would let him walk. |

I'd rather have Punk take on Triple H instead of being in the main event, I don't think they'd put the title on him and I have no interest in Orton retaining or a Batista reign. I don't see how it's possible for punk/hhh now after bryan has been headed for a collision with hhh lately...it would look so bad if all the sudden bryan's feud with hhh is halted |

bottom line, no one really knows why Punk did what he did. like him or not he is one of their biggest stars. maybe he didnt handle things the proper way, but we don't know why. we are not him. people who report on the internet are not backstage every 5 minutes knowing what is going on. they aren't there. they dont know crapeither. if Punk comes back, then obviously what he did after the Rumble really wasn't that big of a deal. maybe the WWE & him created this as a way to get him off TV for a month without an angle because he just left. maybe he was pissed off and burned out. we dont know the truth. people who are bitching and hating and moaning and crying that "oh he's an bunghole, he sucks, he's selfish" etc, are just looking for a reason to not like the guy because he's apparently not all bubble gum and ponies to people in public. oh well. he is who he is, there are thousands upon thousands of people who cheer the hell out of the guy on a nightly basis, who buy his shirts, and who saw him have to fight scratch claw and burrow his way to the top while others got to sit back and have everything handed to them. think of things this way....if what Punk did was such an offensive disgusting deplorable act....why is he still under a WWE contract? if he "walked out" the way it's been portrayed, they could fire him on the spot for breach of contract.... In the end, people are cheering for CM Punk because they love the perfomer. They don't care about what's written on the internet about him, they feel like he's been done an injustice, they feel like he should be in the spot that other guys have carelessly been handed. they see Punks "walk-out" as just another extension of how they (personally) feel about this company and how a guy who "walks away" 4 years ago (Batista) gets to come back and win a  ing royal rumble....while Punk has yet to accomplish that because it hasn't been written so, and another year goes by with Punk having to take the middle seat of the 4th row to the other guys who were ALLOWED to succeed. |

It's possible Punk will be at RAW tomorrow in Chicago. but not 100% guarantee Punk will be there, same ol report just worded different.

Also he shouldn't be "rewarded" for walking out, but we'll see when the real story comes out about what happened. The stipulation for Bryan/HHH has to happen. I know people like to crap on WWE creative, HHH's shovel, and all that other typical nonsense but there's no way anyone in that company actually believes fans want to see Orton vs Batista. The card is far from finalized, it's still a month away so there's a lot that can play out but as of right now it's not looking great. Hopefully after tomorrow my opinion will change. |
