it'll be interesting...I can't imagine he comes back without a guaranteed headlining match at mania I want Bryan in the title match too & I'm not a fan of Punk, but HHH/Bryan has to happen now - he challenged him... I would hope that happens & there's the stip that if bryan wins, he gets a 2nd match that night, for the title...triple threat match or just winner of batista/orton I'd love to see Batista vs Bryan with them both already wrestling earlier - that is how you book a 30th anniversary wrestling card, but they're not that creative I agree with you about the headlining match, there's no way he comes back for some throw away match. Also he shouldn't be "rewarded" for walking out, but we'll see when the real story comes out about what happened. The stipulation for Bryan/HHH has to happen. I know people like to crap on WWE creative, HHH's shovel, and all that other typical nonsense but there's no way anyone in that company actually believes fans want to see Orton vs Batista. The card is far from finalized, it's still a month away so there's a lot that can play out but as of right now it's not looking great. Hopefully after tomorrow my opinion will change. I can't believe they wait this long to decide...I don't blame creative (even though it sounded that way). I know they are handcuffed & they can only do what they're asked/told -- I blame the higher ups for the problems in that area. That & all the 'yes men' (ironic that WWE has so many YES MEN & the YES MAN can't get the title he deserves on the biggest stage. My brother is going to Mania & he's furious with their card right now & basically doesn't really want to go. He asked if I wanted to about a month ago & I'm out of state..but maybe a 7 hr drive - I told him no & stand by that. It would have to be the card of my dreams to buy a ticket & I'd want to know before a purchase who is fighting (which I think they should consider when waiting so late to decide things). I should say, he offered to buy my ticket for me & I still said no thanks.

WWE probably planted these rumors knowing how smarky the Chi crowd is. Instead of being pissed all night, they'll just be expecting Punk at the end. If he never shows; you can watch the building be torn apart on the Network.
Better sign up!

Of course he's going to be there... Punk's a big fan of Breaking Bad, and he's not going to pass up the chance to meet Jesse Pinkman Seriously though, was this ever in doubt? You can't have a show in Chicago, without Punk. As for all those comparing this to the Batista situation, please stop. It's not even comparable, 'cos not only is Batista in his 40's, he was gone for 4 frigging years, and just walked straight back into a headline spot at WM, on supposed name value alone and without doing -all to justify it... while Punk has been away for just over a month, after woking hurt for the best part of the last year. And lol at Punk being a "part-timer" all of a sudden. I'm also tired of hearing about how it's Bryan's rightful spot. Like hell it is. Bryan deserves that spot no more than Punk does - and I'd love for someone to give me a reason why Bryan is more deserving. Let Bryan wrestle HHH, not only does it make the most sense, but it really makes no difference what match Bryan's in, 'cos the fans just want to see him perform and chant YES like annoying, hyperactive, children all night anyway... whether Bryan wins the belt, or not isn't going to make the slightest difference to his standing as far as the fans are concerned. IF CM Punk is brought back and REWARDED with a match at Wrestlemania, then nobody ever has the right to talk crap about Hulk Hogan, Triple H, 90's Shawn Michaels or criticize any "part timers". The bottom line is that CM Punk walked out on WWE. WWE didn't fire him. WWE didn't suspend him. WWE didn't keep him off TV. CM Punk decided to leave the WWE and abandon his company, his job responsibilities, and the fans who spend money to see him and buy his products. CM Punk did all of this because he didn't like the way his FAKE wrestling storyline was going. That would be like Leonardo DiCaprio walking off the set of Titanic because he didn't like that the writers didn't have his character prevent the boat from sinking. CM Punk should just shut his ing mouth and do his job and thank GOD or whatever he believes in that he's able to make millions upon millions upon millions of dollars to do what he does, while the rest of us bust our ass at actual IMPORTANT JOBS for practically nothing. CM Punk is selfish, self centered, and cares only about himself. I don't believe a person should be REWARDED for REFUSING TO WORK until they get what they want. Anybody that's still a fan of this idiot just doesn't have a clue. Yeah, he's a great WRESTLER, but he's so disgusting as an actual person that I don't see how anybody could support him. You should take your own advice and stop polluting my screen with your increasingly pretentious, nonsense. I think you need to take your own advice and realize its just a tv show too. I still think it was a work especially if he's back tomorrow in Chicago. But if it wasn't a work then Lorenzo is correct in everything he said. Punk should not be rewarded with anything or else everyone will just walk when they don't get their way.Good on them if they do... they won't though, 'cos they don't have the balls or the conviction - whereas Punk does, and that's why he should be applauded instead of lambasted. As for him being "rewarded".... he won't be getting a reward - he'll simply be getting his due.

Why bring back the guy who walked out on your company? Who walked out on the fans? I hope he doesn't come back. But if he does he shouldn't get the Batista treatment. Finish his contract and leave for good.

If this is in fact true and Punk does end up returning tomorrow night, it would be wise for WWE to take advantage of this special energy from the crowd to benefit several stars. They should first play Punk's music with a fake out by having Bad New Barrett enter and exclaim how he has "bad news." Allow hm to draw some heat and while he is speaking, cue Punk's music again to have Punk come out to an overwhelming ovation. I also think The Authority and Punk should exchange words where Punk can drop a pipebomb and allow HHH and Steph to draw even more heat regardless if he's facing HHH at Mania. I do think Punk will be added to the title match because I can't see him coming back to the company for the same storyline after being so disgruntled for the direction of his character. The title match will more than likely not be the final match on the card so Punk will not exactly be getting what he wants which is closing the show but I can see him settling for a spot in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match.

It doesn't make sense for him to be so disgruntled with the HHH feud. Why? Because the feud was going on for a good month before he left. He was constantly calling out HHH and battling with Kane. So I think he left for the mistreatment of current stars being pushed over for part-timers and or the lack of PPV bonus info.
If he comes back he should feud with HHH or Kane. I love Punk but there is absolutely no reason to throw him in the title match after he walked out crying like a giant p***y

he comes back as a part of the Authority to take on DBryan at WM instead of HHH...
think about it... if Bryan is not in the Main event... Bryan fans will not mind a CMPunk/Bryan match as a "consolation" prize...

This is going to be the largest pop ever. Ever! Bigger than Austin coming down to help Foley win. Better than anything Hogan has ever received. Biggest ever.

I think its interesting if Punk gets put in the main event how the crowd reacts to him...I think the crowd wants Bryan, No exceptions.

Honestly punk can SAVE Wrestlemania 30 if he mans up and comes back tomorrow. He can take the HHH match and Bryan can go for the belt. Or visa versa. Either way everyone's happy and we don't get a "hijacked" smarky mania.

Imagine Punk returns to save Bryan from a beat down from Kane and HHH. Punk clears the rings and bam... GTS on Bryan. HHH and Kane raise Punks hand and Punk points to WMXXX sign.

That's interesting, that's how I feel about Triple H. Interesting, because Triple H wanted to lose to CM Punk at Wrestlemania, but that wasn't good enough for CM Punk. Where did you read that? I haven't seen that reported anywhere. Just curious. I've read Punk was mad that he got bumped from the match for Daniel Bryan. And then he would have fought Kane or somebody? I don't know. We had heard Punk/HHH and Bryan/Sheamus - which nobody wanted - and then plans were changed to put Bryan against Hunter. And the rumored Lesnar/Taker, Cena/Wyatt, and Batista/Orton matches have all become fact. I just haven't heard anything about Hunter taking the loss - and it just doesn't fit his M.O.

I am happy to have him back but , this means Dolph ziggler should wine and he will main event Yeah that'll work cause Punk and Dolph are totally on the same level. I think Dolph IS on the same level as Punk. The WWE totally ruined him by turning him face and making him look weak - all so they could try to get the boring Del Rio over for the 20th time? He's great as a cocky heel and to think he's fallen so far in the past year is terrible - just another guy pushed aside so "The Authority" can be the focal point of the "WWE Universe."
