100% the fans and mainstream coverage turned Bryan back.

Look, I'm happy he'll be back. But if he takes what should be D-Bry's rightful place in the main event: I'll be pissed. I love Punk. But he should just face Triple H, and let Bryan take the belt in the main event. Then turn Punk heel and let he and Bryan feud over the belt for a few months. Honestly, that's how I would want to see it. Punk's fantastic, but I just think this is Bryan's year and him winning the title at Mania would just be the perfect end to his chase.

Do you really think WWE would be stupid enough to not realize how the fans were going to react? Yes, yes I do. The turned Daniel Bryan heel and the fans sat on their hands. They didn't boo him. They wanted to cheer him. It was a bust. This is the same WWE who is so stupid they brought back Batista to be the conquering hero and he was flatly rejected. They are out-of-touch, stubborn, and dumb. Sadly.

If it was because of the fans, why didn't they wait more than a week to determine how the fans would react? Batista was a big mistake that they are more than likely going to regret. Batista lost a lot of fans for being in much worse shape than when he left, but they seemingly didn't figure that out until after they announced his return.

If CM Punk and Vince McMahon came to some sort of mutual agreement that Punk could have this sabbatical, and left it on good terms, then I think it may be in the best interest for everyone to have Punk show on Raw tonight just to address the situation and put the fans minds at rest. He may not even need to go into detail, just tell everyone that he's taking a much needed break. There wont be a better opportunity than in Chicago. I'd be ok if he never wrestled again and used tonight as a way of saying goodbye. I would actually be okay with this idea,if CM Punk truly is done this is a better way to go out then just quitting and going home. But I am sure he's back to fill out his contract that runs until July and possibly even resigned a new contract that was to his liking. Still don't think the WWE should or had to cave in to CM Punk. They truly don't need him, they have and extremely deep roster of great in ring works and still have big named stars like Cena,Orton,Bryan and Sheamus to carry the loaded while they get guy like Reigns,Wyatt,Cesaro...ect into the main event mix. Both Austin and Punk have stated in the past that their easy to replace and the WWE will just make another star to fill their void and keep on keeping on,which if the story is true that CM Punk walk out is what the WWE should have done.

If it means anything WWE is selling Punk shirts at the event and are not confiscating signs. Yet.

WWE trolled so hard tonight. It's hard to even be mad about it. They did what they had to do.
I want to see Punk back as much as the next guy, but they confronted the animal head on. Business is business.

The new answer to this is three letters: ROH. I can hope for Styles vs Punk this summer, can't I?

I'm now convinced that Punk is not coming back for a very, very long time (if ever).

We all should have known that Wrestlemania 30 would be incredibly watered down with us all getting to see it for $10.
You get what you pay for. Gawd.... Batista vs. Orton, can't even believe I'm typing that.

I think the saga's over. If Punk was coming back, it surely would've been tonight. The new answer to this is three letters: ROH. I can hope for Styles vs Punk this summer, can't I? I can't see Punk wrestling in the minor leagues. It's possible, but he's beat up to hell and his fee would cost more than ROH could make running their venues. Unless he just wants to do it for fun and doesn't care about the money or the toll on his body.

I could see him being a special attraction star in ROH having maybe one or two matches a month. I'd love to see Punk vs Styles, Lethal, either Brisco, Elgin, Hero, etc.

They are definitely going to add another wrinkle to the Batista/Orton match... there's zero chance they are sticking with a heel vs. heel main event for 'Mania.
