Friday Night Smackdown: January 9th, 2015 – Laredo Energy Arena in Laredo, Texas
Smackdown kicked off with a video package recapping the final moments of Monday night Raw. During the contract signing between Brock Lesnar, John Cena and Randy Orton, things got heated. Lesnar was put down, allowing Seth Rollins to run out and attempt to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase. His efforts were thwarted by his rival Dean Ambrose though and Brock remains champion today. Booker T, Byron Saxton and Tom Phillips welcomed the viewers to tonight’s broadcast as we move closer and closer to the Royal Rumble. The music of Seth Rollins played as Mr. Money in the Bank walked down to the ring, flanked by Authority members Kane and Sheamus. He was clearly not in a good mood as he snatched a microphone from ringside. Seth instantly went into a rant, complaining about Dean Ambrose costing him the WWE World Heavyweight Title on Monday. “It is an absolute travesty. Dean Ambrose has been jealous of my success ever since I bettered myself and ended the Shield and even more since I beat him at TLC to win this briefcase. He’s so petty that he cost me everything on Monday. I would have been the man to beat the man who ended the streak. I would have been the one to beat the one in 21-1. But no. Kane! Kane, I want this dealt with tonight. Dean needs to pay for his actions!” Kane was taken aback by Seth’s demands and responded by telling him that he agrees. “But Seth, you do realize that with Hulk Hogan as Co-General Manager, my duties as Director of Operations have been suspended right?” The crowd laughed as Seth yelled, “THEN WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GOOD FOR?” Kane stepped towards Mr. Money in the Bank when Dean Ambrose’s theme blared over the speakers. He appeared on stage to a thunderous pop with a smile. Dean said that this is the happiest he’s been since Survivor Series. “Believe me Seth, I’ve spent the past month and a half in a foul mood. I think you know that better than anyone actually. But the satisfaction I got from hitting you with Dirty Deeds on Raw was paralleled. That made me happier than the best happy hour deals in Texas. That made me happier than beating you over the head with a steel chair. That even made me happier than driving a car right through the wall of your home.” Seth gave a confused look until Dean clarified, “Okay, that last one was just an awesome dream, but you get the picture.” Seth responded by saying that he was tired of this and dared him to come in the ring with the Authority. Dean replied, “Actually Seth, I came out here with a message from Hulk Hogan. Tonight, I have to compete in the main event against you and Alexander Rusev.” Seth laughed and said that Hogan finally made a good decision. Dean went to leave but stopped and turned back to the ring. “Oh, there’s one more thing. I can’t believe this slipped my mind. I also have a partner tonight and his name is Ryback!” Seth’s face fell and Dean’s music played while he headed to the back.
Returning, The Miz and Summer Rae were shown in a setting similar to Batista recently when he spoke from Hollywood, only not quite as nice. Miz said that he, like Batista, was on set, filming a potential Oscar winning film. “I’ll give Batista credit, he is quite the movie star, but he isn’t the megastar that I am. There is one thing he’s done that I haven’t though. He’s won the Royal Rumble. Twice. That changes this year though. I will walk into Philadelphia and begin my road back to the main event of WrestleMania. In 2015, I win the Royal Rumble, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and an Academy Award. Because I’m The Miz, and I’m awesome.” TYSON KIDD W/ CESARO AND NATALYA DEF. CHRISTIAN IN 8:55; Commentary mentioned that Christian qualified for the Royal Rumble after getting an opportunity from his best friend Edge. They also state that his career has fallen on hard times since losing the US Title last year but he’s looking to turn things around. Tyson Kidd is on a hot streak though and it continued here when he put a valiant Christian down with a Blockbuster after a slight distraction from Cesaro.
After the bell, Tyson Kidd grabbed a microphone from ringside. He said that the time has come to make it official. “Dolph Ziggler questioned why I haven’t answered any of his little open challenges and there are a few reasons. I don’t do anything on his time. Fact. I am a big money Superstar. Fact. I’ve already beaten Dolph twice. Fact. So at the Royal Rumble, I’m taking the Intercontinental Title and there’s nothing you can do about it Dolph. Fact.”
THE ASCENSION DEF. JOE JAMES AND BOB EDWARDS IN 0:44; Once again, the Ascension just mowed down their opponents tonight. Booker T mentioned that they’re going to need to find some competition soon.
Renee Young stood by with one of the number one contenders for the WWE Women’s Championship, Paige. She asked Paige about returning for revenge on Emma, only to find out that she has to share her title shot with AJ Lee. Paige said that it isn’t ideal but it’s better than nothing. As much as I want to get my hands on Emma, alone, I can’t fault Hulk Hogan’s decision. We both beat Nikki so we both should get the title shot. But don’t for a second think that means I’m not walking out of the Royal Rumble with the gold. Once I get back what’s rightfully mine, then I’ll turn my attention back to getting even with Emma.”
“Total Divas” on the E! Network won the Popsugar.com award for Best Reality TV Show!
A recap aired of Monday Night Raw when it was announced that at the Royal Rumble, Emma will defend her WWE Women’s Championship against both AJ Lee and Paige!
EMMA DEF. NIKKI BELLA VIA COUNTOUT IN 6:22; Though she lost an opportunity at the Women’s Title last week, Nikki Bella still had revenge on her mind when it comes to Emma. Nikki attacked quickly and their fight spilled outside. Nikki threw Emma into the steel steps and looked to be in control. Emma found an opening and pulled Nikki face first into the steps. Emma added to it by launching Nikki over the announce table. She calmly entered the ring and allowed the official to count to ten. Emma prevented Nikki from getting any revenge tonight.
Commentary informed the viewers that finally, the WWE Network comes to the United Kingdom on January 19th!
A video recap was shown of Triple H’s monumental return to the WWE to confront the Wyatt Family a few weeks back on Raw. Triple H then came face to face with Stephanie McMahon this past Monday to try and settle their differences. This Monday though, Triple H has announced that he will be at Raw to call out the Wyatt Family! Reminder that the Wyatts haven’t been seen since Triple H returned.
SHEAMUS DEF. ZACK RYDER IN 3:09; According to Tom Phillips, this was a “Royal Rumble Preview” match. There will be several of these matches involving people who qualified for the Royal Rumble over the next few weeks. Sheamus looked to dominate but Zack Ryder showed resiliency. Despite this, when he ran into a Brogue Kick, it was all over. A video package was shown of footage from the No Holds Barred match on Monday between Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho. Cody finally defeated Jericho and is now able to move forward with the next stage of his career. CODY RHODES DEF. FANDANGO W/ LAYLA IN 2:41; Fresh off of one of the bigger wins of his career, Cody Rhodes continued to roll by besting Fandango here. He won in short order with the Disaster Kick. After the bell, Cody grabbed a microphone from ringside and reiterated that he’s officially done with Chris Jericho. “I’ve been thinking about what’s next and one thing comes to mind. The Royal Rumble. I came this close to winning the Survival Trials. Believe me when I tell you that I am not letting another opportunity at the WWE World Heavyweight Title slip through my fingers.”
A New Day vignette aired next. Xavier Woods appeared on stage again, but was joined by a gyrating Big E. Woods spoke about a new day coming to the WWE and the power of positivity. Big E grabbed the microphone and said that the WWE is a stale, out of touch place and they are here to save the day.
DEAN AMBROSE AND RYBACK DEF. ALEXANDER RUSEV AND SETH ROLLINS W/ LANA VIA DISQUALIIFCATION IN 10:14; This was a rather intense main event considering the rivalries coming to a head here. Seth Rollins wanted nothing to do with Dean Ambrose and only asked for the tag when Rusev had already worn him down. Rusev and Ryback clashed and the fans ate it up. In the end, Ryback nearly took Rusev down when Seth entered with his briefcase. Ryback turned and saw what he was going to do, stopping Seth in his tracks. Rusev took the opening to kick Ryback low, resulting in the DQ.
Dean slid in the ring only to get wiped out by the briefcase. Rusev stomped on Ryback and locked in the Accolade. Seth left the ring, satisfied with what he did to Dean, while officials attempted to pry Rusev off of Ryback.

- Seeing how Smackdown started with Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins and the Director of Operations Kane and fellow Authority member Sheamus I mean seeing the 2 of them argue about Kane being able to help Rollins well he can't because even though he is the Director of Operations he can't do much if anything at all because Hogan is co-GM along with Stephanie so I wonder what Kane can really do to work his way around all of that? Seeing Ambrose come out I mean it is obvious that Ambrose really hates Rollins for turning his back on him and Reigns but that he wants Rollins in the worst way and a Tag Team match in the main event I think is a great idea Rollins and WWE United States Champion Rusev teaming up to face off against Ambrose and Ryback that's an interesting choice for a tag team partner on Ambrose's part
- Miz he has virtually done it all in this business except win a Royal Rumble Match...Miz has never won a Royal Rumble Match but if he thinks he is as big a movie star as The Rock is or even as Batista is well Miz isn't and he never will be because his movies go straight to DVD while Rock and Batista they are in the big time as far as mainstream Hollywood movies go
- Tyson Kidd's hot streak continues with him beating Christian it seems Kidd his hot streak continues into this calendar year of 2015 considering last year is when his hot streak began and him beating Christian just proves his case that he could very well become the next WWE Intercontinental Champion and Kidd says that he will accept Ziggler's challenge but on his own time but he chooses to wait until the Royal Rumble pay per view to face Ziggler with the title on the line yeah that's smart on Kidd's part he is a pay per view player he doesn't do things on RAW or on SD he wants to be on with the lights on bright I don't blame him
- The Ascension beating yet another in the long line of jobber tag teams like when are they going to get some serious competition? I mean seriously it is like week after week they keep getting booked against tag teams who they can easily beat why not book them against legitimate tag teams in the division?
- Paige is on a mission to win back the WWE Women's Championship from Emma but also she wants payback on Emma for putting her on the shelf I don't blame her but at the same time I wonder if Paige will make a pact with AJ Lee a pact that they both team up to make sure that Emma doesn't walk out of the Royal Rumble with the title?
- Emma the WWE Women's Champion beating Nikki Bella all be it by count out it protects Nikki considering a count out loss doesn't really count as a clean loss and it keeps Nikki's momentum going but at the same time Emma winning all be it by count out she needed the win because her momentum right now as WWE Women's Champion is kind of low and considering at the Rumble PPV she has to defend her title against not 1 but 2 women who are both gunning for her and Emma doesn't even have to be involved in the decision to lose her title so I wonder what Emma can really do to make sure that she has all the momentum back on her side?
- Triple H calling out Wyatt, Harper and Rowan does he have a death wish? Is he crazy? I mean look at the last time Triple H and the Wyatts were in the same place at the same time they destroyed Triple H and left him laying unless Triple H has a plan unless he plans on bringing with him his trusty sledgehammer to even the odds because if he tries to use his sledgehammer on the Wyatts I am sure the lights will go out and when they come back on the Wyatts will be gone...it is their MO unless Triple H plans on disguising himself with a goat mask with him attacking the Wyatts right after
- Sheamus dominating Zack Ryder in relatively easy fashion it seems Sheamus may in fact be a Royal Rumble Match favorite I mean Sheamus has won a Royal Rumble Match before he won it in 2012 and he main vented WrestleMania 28 where he became WWE World Heavyweight Champion by beating Bryan in 18 seconds...so Sheamus he could be a favorite and not to mention he is an Authority member
- Cody Rhodes beating Fandango...Rhodes I don't consider him a favorite to win the Royal Rumble Match even though his run in the Survival Trials was nothing more than a fluke nothing more than a Cinderella story Rhodes basically proved in his rivalry with Jericho that he can't hang with main event level superstars he basically proved that he just doesn't have what it takes to get to that next level as a main event superstar to eventually become a mega star he just doesn't have that it factor but I will give credit where credit is due he could be a darkhorse but realistically I just can't see him winning or even lasting that long in the Royal Rumble Match
- New Day Kofi, Big E. and Woods I can see them making their re-debuts in the Royal Rumble Match assuming all 3 members of The New Day end up being entrants in the Royal Rumble Match
- And in the main event Ambrose and Ryback beating WWE United States Champion Rusev and Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins all be it by DQ basically protects Rusev in the sense of his undefeated streak still being in tact yes he may have technically lost but a DQ loss doesn't really count as a clean loss which basically protects Rusev's character protects his undefeated streak but it also protects Rollins too in terms of him being Mr. Money in the Bank considering Rollins doesn't even need a win in any match especially when he has that briefcase which he could cash in at any time between now and July the Money in the Bank pay per view but this match doesn't kill Ambrose or Ryback's momentum either and considering all 4 men are in the Royal Rumble Match any one of them could win it

Monday Night Raw: January 12th, 2015 – Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana
Following the WWE signature and the weekly intro video, highlights from the contract signing last Monday were shown. After Randy Orton and John Cena took out Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins attempted to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase but Dena Ambrose stopped him. Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and John “Bradshaw” Layfield introduce the show and remind viewers that we are less than two weeks away from the Royal Rumble! “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman.” Paul Heyman stood in the center of the ring with a dejected look. He said that last Monday night was a complete joke. “My client is not afraid to admit that it took two men of John Cena and Randy Orton’s caliber to take him down. My client is not afraid to remind you all that he got up from their best shots. The one thing that my client does have an issue with is Seth Rollins.” The crowd popped before Heyman continued by saying calling Seth a coward. “Brock Lesnar is many things. He’s a beast, a conqueror, an animal and let’s be honest, he’s not a nice man. But one thing he is not is a coward. When Brock Lesnar won the WWE World Heavyweight Title, he went through both John Cena and Daniel Bryan. When he became the 1 in 21-1, he beat the Undertaker in an actual match. He didn’t try to take advantage of someone when he was down.” Heyman continued until cut off by the theme music of Seth Rollins. He got right up in Heyman’s face and told him to watch his mouth. “I see that you’re all alone tonight and there’s no one to protect you. Where is your ‘beast’ anyway? Is he hiding at home so the bad man with the Money in the Bank briefcase doesn’t take his title? You can call me a coward all you want but remember that I was the architect of the Shield. I had the brains and I still do. Brock Lesnar is an absolute beast and while I’m not saying I couldn’t beat him in a fair fight, I’m going to take every opportunity that I can to make things as easy as possible.” Heyman smiled and responded, “What makes you think my client isn’t here tonight?”
Seth’s face fell when the music of the WWE World Heavyweight Champion hit. Brock Lesnar walked to the ring with a purpose, taking off his title and dropping it to the ground before entering the ring. Seth backed up and stepped out onto the apron. Suddenly, Randy Orton ran out from the back and attacked Brock from behind. Seth jumped in this time and they put the boots to the champion. Brock shrugged them off and sent Orton over the top. Seth looked like he saw a ghost and attempted to run. Brock caught him and went for a German suplex but Seth landed on his feet and slid out of the ring. He hightailed it through the crowd. Randy watched him go but didn’t follow. He turned to Brock in the ring and hopped on the apron. Security and officials rushed to the ring and stood in between Randy and Brock. Just when things seemed to calm down, John Cena’s theme hit and the crowd erupted. Cena walked with a purpose and removed his shirt before sliding in the ring and jumping over security to level Brock with right hands. Orton slithered back in the ring to join the fray. Paul Heyman shouted for Brock to leave the ring but the champion dished out even more than he took. The three men were finally separated after more security showed up.
Returning, Hulk Hogan was shown with security. He said that Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman left the building and helped security eject Randy Orton and John Cena to protect the WWE Title match at the Royal Rumble.
CESARO W/ NATALYA AND TYSON KIDD DEF. ADRIAN NEVILLE IN 10:39; In a Royal Rumble preview, Cesaro and Adrian Neville had one of the better matches on Raw this year. They knew each other so well and had counters for everything. Neville’s high risk style cost him when Cesaro leveled him with an insane uppercut. The Neutralizer followed for the 1-2-3. Tyson Kidd slid in the ring as the duo wasn’t done with Neville. Before they could do any real damage, Dolph Ziggler ran down to the ring. He ducked a right hand from Cesaro and clocked him with a superkick. Kidd got out of dodge and left up the ramp with Natalya and Cesaro while Dolph checked on Neville.
Backstage, Cody Rhodes was shown in Stephanie McMahon’s office. She mentioned some recent tweets by Cody that spoke about her in negative fashion. “I know that you love your father and you’re all about family but how dare you tweet that I don’t care about my family? Don’t you know who I am? I am a McMahon and you do not disrespect me.” Stephanie informed Cody that as a punishment, he’d have to face Kane tonight. Cody didn’t mind and before leaving he said, “I meant every word.” Standing by, Renee Young interviewed Ryback. She asked him about his recent issues with Alexander Rusev. Ryback responded by saying that it is about two things. “One, I want the United States Title. The Big Guy is a proud American and it’s a championship I’ve wanted for a long time. Two, Rusev’s a bully. I don’t like bullies. And the only way to stop a bully is to stand up to them and punch them in the mouth.” Returning from break, a video was shown from the WWE’s new Snapchat account of Dean Ambrose spending the day in New Orleans. Here, we saw him dancing with locals on Bourbon Street. THE ASCENSION DEF. ADAM ROSE AND SANTINO MARELLA IN 1:12; For the first time, the Ascension were pitted against actual members of the roster. It didn’t change a thing. Adam Rose didn’t even get tagged in because Konnor and Viktor ran through Santino Marella. They defeated him with the Fall of Man to continue their streak.
A seemingly random video aired of various WWE Superstars doing impersonations of Macho Man Randy Savage. Roman Reigns did a particularly good one, while Tyson Kidd said his best (FACT), and Big Show’s was great despite spending time with the man during his time with WCW. Michael Cole revealed that there will be a special announcement made later tonight.
Daniel Bryan’s theme played as the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Yes’ed his way to the ring. The New Orleans crowd roared for the man who had his crowning moment in front of them last April. Footage of his emotional WrestleMania XXX victory was shown. Bryan spoke from the heart, telling the fans that though he’s from Washington, New Orleans holds a special place in his heart. “It might as well be a second home to me. It was one thing to win the biggest matches of my career in this city but then to come out here the following night and have ‘you deserve it’ chanted at me by thousands is something I’ll never forget.” Bryan said it was special because the next few weeks were rough for him due to the passing of his father and Connor “The Crusher”. Bryan was then cut off by the music of Sheamus. The “Celtic Warrior” told Bryan that nobody cared about his accomplishments or this city. Sheamus said that he came out here for a fight and challenged Bryan to an over the top rope challenge so he could show the world what will happen at the Royal Rumble. OVER THE TOP ROPE CHALLENGE – DANIEL BRYAN DEF. SHEAMUS IN 4:30; Sheamus instantly attempted to send Daniel Bryan over the top, but Bryan was as resilient as ever. He survived several attempts before springboarding in with a dropkick. Sheamus still overpowered him but when he went for the Brogue Kick, Bryan ducked and Sheamus went over the top and out. Sheamus was in disbelief while Bryan celebrated with the crowd.
The Miz and Summer Rae were shown in front of a TV screen. The screen had the Golden Globes logo on it and Miz said he was going to give his thoughts on the show. “First of all, I have to say that it is an outrage that Eddie Redmayne took home the Best Actor Award for his role as Stephen Hawking. Do you know who would have portrayed a better Stephen Hawking?” Summer pulled a paper out of her envelope and said “And the answer to that question is…The Miz!” Miz thanked her and continued to run down award winners from the show last night. “Everyone knows that the award for Best Actor in a Drama should have gone to me and no, I didn’t forget, the best Supporting Actress in a Drama should have been Summer for our stellar work in the Marine 4. But regardless of how these award shows go, there is one performance left. My greatest role yet. In two weeks, I take on the role of Royal Rumble winner.” PAIGE DEF. ALICIA FOX IN 2:12; AJ Lee joined commentary for this match, which did distract Paige at the start. Once she focused up though, Paige went on a tear and made Alicia tap out to the PTO. Paige stared a hole through AJ Lee when Emma ran in behind her and threw her shoulder first into the ring post. AJ Lee rushed in but Emma escaped the ring. WWE’s Snapchat account showed viewers more of Dean Ambrose out and about in New Orleans. This time around, Dean apparently led a tour around the French Quarter, while giving out false information. Renee Young interviewed CM Punk backstage. She asked him about facing Mr. Money in the Bank tonight. Punk said that it won’t be the first time he’s had to wrestle Seth but it is different now. “This isn’t the same Seth Rollins that was part of the Shield and this isn’t the same Seth Rollins that wrestled on the indies. This is a more cunning Seth. He turned his back on his friends, his brothers, and someone willing to do that is a very dangerous man.”
For the second time this evening, several Superstars were shown doing Macho Man impressions. Both The Miz and Damien Sandow were the highlights this time around. CHRIS JERICHO DEF. DARREN YOUNG W/ TITUS O’NEIL IN 3:33; Looking to bounce back after losing to Cody Rhodes last Monday, Chris Jericho faced one half of the Prime Time Players. Darren Young got some near falls on flash pins early, trying to surprise Jericho. Jericho scored with the Codebreaker to earn the win. After the break, the WWE United States Champion Alexander Rusev and Lana were interviewed by Renee Young. Lana stated that Rusev heard what Ryback said earlier tonight and didn’t take too kindly to it. Rusev angrily interrupted, “That big stupid idiot isn’t going to punch anyone in the mouth. He wants to do it so badly? I dare him to try. Ryback, meet me in the ring next week and you will be CRUSHED!” Another Snapchat video of Dean Ambrose in New Orleans was shown. This one showed Dean Ambrose with a crowd of people partying. They all chant something so Dean pulls his shirt up, flashing his chest. A bunch of beads get thrown his way for it.
SETH ROLLINS DEF. CM PUNK IN 15:51; Two of the best the WWE has to offer went at it in a highly competitive match. Michael Cole noted that both Seth Rollins and CM Punk are considered heavy favorites to win the Royal Rumble this month. Punk hoisted Seth up for the Go to Sleep but Seth elbowed out and hit a Pele kick. Seth looked for the Curb Stomp only for Punk to avoid it and tried a kick to the head. Seth dodged it and bumped into the referee. With the referee blinded, Seth kicked Punk in the groin and hit the Curb Stomp for the 1-2-3.Seth Rollins’ celebration was cut short by the theme of Dean Ambrose. Ambrose ran to the ring with beaded necklaces around his neck and started trading blows with Seth. Their fight spilled over the guardrail and into the crowd. Seth slipped free and scurried to the back, where Dean continued to give chase. A frustrated CM Punk sat up and unwrapped his taped fists before tossing them aside.
Michael Cole informed the viewers that the reason we’ve been seeing Macho Man impersonations tonight is because the Macho Man Randy Savage is officially going into the Hall of Fame, headlining the 2015 class. A lengthy video package aired of Savage’s career highlights.
NIKKI BELLA DEF. NATALYA IN 3:19; While this match took place, commentary reminded fans that Brie Bella is still recovering from the injury that she suffered at the hands of WWE Women’s Champion Emma. Nikki bested her Total Divas cast mate with a brutal forearm shot. “Nikki Bella may have lost to Emma on Smackdown this past Friday but she showed a mean streak tonight that we haven’t seen before,” said Michael Cole. A vignette aired of Roman Reigns highlights. We see him eliminate a record twelve Superstars in last year’s Royal Rumble. Reigns returns at the Royal Rumble and has promised to break his own record! CODY RHODES DEF. KANE IN 5:52; As punishment for his social media words about Stephanie McMahon, Cody Rhodes stepped into the ring with Kane. Kane held control for most of the match, wearing down Cody. Cody came back with some springboard offense and continued his stellar run from the tail end of 2014. Cody hit a gorgeous moonsault and the Cross Rhodes to win. With Chris Jericho in his rearview mirror, one has to think Cody is another favorite to win the Royal Rumble. A New Day vignette was shown next. Xavier Woods, Big E and now Kofi Kingston were all on the stage, dancing and gyrating their hips. Woods reiterated that the power of positivity was going to take over the WWE sooner than we all think. A NEW DAY COMES NEXT WEEK!
“King of Kings” played as Triple H made his way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe. He spoke about the company first, saying that with him out of the hospital, things are going to be run correctly. “There are going to be some changes around here. I’m sick and tired of this place running in circles with the same old, same old going on.” Triple H promised a huge 2015 and said that some people are skeptics but he has the backing of some very important people. “No Chance in Hell” hit and both Shane and Vince McMahon walked out to join Triple H in the ring. Vince got a microphone and admitted to be a stubborn man. “I’ve run the most successful empire this industry has ever seen. Where everyone failed, I succeeded and because of that, I’m not good at taking advice. But when the Wyatt Family attacked me, for the first time in my life, I felt mortal. I realized that I’m not always going to be around and I’m not always going to be the best person to run this place. My son Shane loves competing in front of all of you but admittedly, he doesn’t want to be in charge. I could think of nobody better to take over than my son-in-law Triple H.” The crowd cheered as Triple H spoke again, saying that he just wanted to assure the fans that things were in good hands. “With that out of the way, it’s time to move to more pressing matters. They haven’t been around since I returned, but I want the Wyatt Family out here right now.” After some moments of silence, the Wyatt signature hit. When the lights came on, Bray Wyatt was sitting in his rocking chair atop the stage, flanked by Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. Bray had a microphone and spoke to Triple H, saying that they’ve been away biding their time. “Did you really think that your presence would change anything? Just because you took the contracts from us doesn’t change the fact that we still crave power. We’re still here to take over.” Bray continued and said that this has been building since October but it’s time to try and end it. “I see three of us up here and three of you down there. Face us McMahons. Face us at the Royal Rumble and you’ll understand why we should have the power around here.” Triple H declined, saying that Vince McMahon is nearly 70 years old and not in any condition to compete. Vince snatched the microphone from him to a pop. “You listen here Triple H. I can admit to being stubborn and admit that right now, you’re better suited to run the WWE but you will not act like I’m some kind of invalid. Yea, when I was attacked in October I felt mortal but that doesn’t mean that I’m a coward.” Vince turned to the Wyatts atop the stage and shouted that they accept the challenge. Bray laughed while Triple H and Shane tried to talk sense into Vince. The Wyatt signature struck again and they were gone, leaving the McMahon trio alone to continue to discuss this matter.

- Starting off RAW with Heyman makes sense given that his client The Beast The Conqueror The 1 in 21-1 the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar almost had his title reign ended because Rollins Authority member and Mr. Money in the Bank almost cashed in on Lesnar and then cue Rollins who comes out and then afterwards Lesnar comes out to try to get to Rollins only for Orton to try to surprise Lesnar from behind and just as it turns into a 2 on 1 assault Brock turns it around and then afterwards Cena comes out and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat participants having to be restrained by security I mean was there even enough security to break these 3 men apart? Lesnar he almost took Rollins to Suplex City and he is lucky he got out unscathed but Orton and Cena they will taste it soon enough at the Royal Rumble
- Cesaro beating the WWE Intercontinental Champion Ziggler's best buddy Neville I mean that was to be expected I mean not only is Cesaro on a roll or he has been on a roll as of late but seeing as how his best friend Kidd has been targeting the WWE Intercontinental Champion Ziggler that targeting Neville or going after him makes sense and post-match just when it turns into a 2 on 1 assault on Neville here comes Ziggler the WWE Intercontinental Champion to make the save for Neville...now that too was to be expected but I knew that all roads would lead to Ziggler having to defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Tyson Kidd at the 2015 Royal Rumble PPV
- It seems Cody Rhodes is now trying to make an enemy out of The Authority...by basically disrespecting Stephanie which is a bad move I mean just because of that I can see The Authority making Cody Rhodes' life hell I mean they have done it to each and every superstar sooner or later and Cody is just the latest superstar to face their wrath and Stephanie putting Cody in a match against The Director of Operations Corporate Kane...yeah I see Cody Rhodes winning this match
- Ryback is going after the WWE United States Championship targeting Rusev doing it for America that's all well and good but personally I would have waited to do this feud I would have waited for it to cap off at Mania with Ryback being the one to end Rusev's undefeated streak because by doing that it builds Ryback back up as a beast as a monster but to do the feud now I mean it is obvious that all roads are leading up to these 2 going at it for the title at the Royal Rumble PPV
- It seems Ambrose is enjoying himself on Bourbon Street but I wonder if that means he will show up to RAW
- Superstars doing Macho Man impressions it is obvious that Macho Man Randy Savage the late Macho Man is going into the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame and that he is the first inductee
- The Ascension facing another jobber tag team this time facing a tag team the likes of Santino and Adam Rose...yeah I mean it is obvious that The Ascension were going to go over in this match I mean give them real competition give them a formidable tag team and then they can be seen as a big deal around here
- The Miz really thinks he is going to win the 2015 Royal Rumble Match...well Miz has done it all already in this business except win a Royal Rumble Match but I don't think he'll do it
- Paige beating Alicia Fox...no doubt she was sending a message to her Royal Rumble opponents that being the WWE Women's Champion Emma and AJ Lee considering these 3 women are going to be going at it in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Women's Championship and the history between these 3 women is finally going to come to a head but with Emma doing that sneak attack on Paige and then hightailing it before AJ Lee could get to her I mean that was smart on Emma's part
- Jericho more or less bounced back by beating Darren Young one half of the Prime Time Players...well he needed the win considering last week he lost to Cody Rhodes in not just any match but lost to him in a No Holds Barred Match so no doubt Jericho needed to get the momentum back on his side and he more or less did but will that be enough for him to win the 2015 Royal Rumble Match? Jericho has done it all in this business except win a Royal Rumble Match
- Roman Reigns he has been hyped up to win this Royal Rumble Match I mean all these vignettes for him all this hype behind his return and the man hasn't even shown up on WWE TV yet I mean it is so obvious that Roman is going to win the 2015 Royal Rumble Match I mean the fans are going to boo the hell out of this I mean it is so obvious like you couldn't make it more obvious
- Cody Rhodes I would say he more or less didn't get punished here I mean he beats Jericho last week and now this week he beats Authority member Kane on top of it yeah Cody Rhodes is on a roll but will that be enough for him to win the 2015 Royal Rumble Match? Cody has to be a favourite but he is not the favourite to win
- Daniel Bryan beating Sheamus in an Over the Top Rope Challenge I mean if Bryan could do that yeah sure he can win the Royal Rumble Match but will he though? Now that is the million dollar question isn't it? I don't think Bryan can do it but who knows maybe he will but I highly doubt it
- Nikki Bella beating Natalya in such a convincing fashion I mean dominant is all I can say I mean no doubt Nikki was sending a message not only to Natalya but to the whole Diva locker room at the same time and what a move using that forearm to finish Natalya off to knock her out I mean if she could do that think about what she could do to whoever is WWE Women's Champion and I am sure she will target whoever ends up winning the Triple Threat
- I see it being a 6 Man Tag Team Match at the Royal Rumble PPV with it being all 3 members of The Wyatt Family Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan facing the team of Triple H, Shane and Vince but if that happens no doubt this will be one of the main events as far as the PPV goes but if anything The Wyatt Family I sure hope they go over the McMahons because if they do then you could really build them up as a dominant force in the WWE
- And in the main event Seth Rollins Mr. Money in the Bank beating CM Punk The Best in the World that is a huge victory for Rollins considering not only is Rollins in the Royal Rumble Match but he also has that briefcase too on top of it the man has been on a roll but Punk he more or less has been on a downward spiral for a while now so it makes me wonder if that is going to lead to anything for Punk? But just when Rollins is about to attack Punk here comes Ambrose for the save

13 more days until the Royal Rumble PPV...13 more nights away and half the field is in there so it makes me wonder if we could see surprise entrants in the sense of WWE legends or returning superstars or debuting superstars or even NXT superstars in the Royal Rumble Match

WWE NXT: January 14th, 2015 – Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida
After the WWE signature intro video, the jam-packed Full Sail Arena was shown. The rabid fans chanted “NXT” while Rich Brennan, Jason Albert and Renee Young introduced things. “Tonight, one of the hottest rivalries in NXT history is renewed when Charlotte takes on Sasha Banks in our main event! Plus, we will get a medical update on Becky Lynch and Hideo Itami returns to the NXT Arena” explained Rich Brennan.
NON-TITLE MATCH: BLAKE AND MURPHY DEF. ENZO AMORE AND COLIN CASSADY W/ CARMELLA IN 8:19; In a surprise, the unheralded tandem of Blake and Murphy made good on their words last week and defeated the NXT Tag Team Champions. In another surprise, the win came with the help of Alexa Bliss. Bliss showed up and tripped Enzo Amore before slapping Carmella. Murphy then put down Enzo with a running suplex. Blake, Murphy and Alexa, who seemed to be giving them orders, left together up the ramp. “I don’t know what’s going on here but Enzo and Cass are in deep trouble if Alexa Bliss is guiding Blake and Murphy,” said Renee Young. A video package was shown to chronicle the issues between former best friends Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. After bringing Owens in to help him win his first title in NXT, Sami Zayn added to his gold by winning the NXT Championship. A jealous Owens ruined his celebration with a popup powerbomb and caused them to vacate the Tag Team Titles. Since then, Owens has made Sami’s life a living hell to the point where Sami can’t even enjoy what should be the happiest time of his career.
Devin Taylor stood by backstage for the first interview with the “Lone Wolf” Baron Corbin. She asked him what’s next for his career after remaining unbeaten with his win over Mason Ryan at TakeOver. Corbin responded by simply saying, “NXT Champion.”
A commercial ran to promote Smackdown’s return to Thursdays beginning tomorrow night. To celebrate the move, a huge man has been signed pitting Cody Rhodes against Daniel Bryan! HIDEO ITAMI DEF. DASH WILDER IN 1:34; In his first match since losing his first match at TakeOver to Tyler Breeze, Hideo Itami came out with a vengeance and pretty much destroyed Dash Wilder. He won with the shotgun dropkick and then grabbed a microphone. Itami said “Tyler Breeze! You and me. One more time,” before throwing the mic down. An advertisement ran to plug Total Divas. A new episode airs this Sunday! Jason Jordan and Chad Gable were shown talking in the back. Jack Swagger came up to them and asked what it was about. Chad responded, “Nothing much man, we’re just trying to come up with a sick new team name.” Jack laughed it off but when he realized they were serious, he told them the team is the “All-American Real Americans.” Jordan agreed that is their name as an entire unit. “Chad and I are just trying things out for when we team up on our own while you go after the NXT Title.” Jack seemed slightly reassured, but still gave them a strange look on his way out.
New NXT Superstar Apollo Crews was shown walking backstage. He had a big smile as he greeted each person he passed by with pleasantries. He stopped when he saw someone off camera and said “Man, it’s been a while.” The camera panned over to reveal Solomon Crowe. Crowe gave him a disgusted look. Crews extended his hand and said, “I haven’t seen you since before we got signed brother.” Crowe looked at the hand, then back up at Apollo and said “We aren’t friends. Get the hell out of my way.” Crowe bumped Crews as he walked past, leaving his old friend confused.
EVAN BOURNE DEF. SAWYER FULTON IN 4:19; Evan Bourne entered with a big size disadvantage. Sawyer Fulton took full control and tossed Bourne around the ring. Bourne was able to slip free of his grasp and started firing away with kicks. He found a way to get Fulton down and won with the shooting star press. “I know he didn’t win at TakeOver, but Evan Bourne continues his impressive NXT run,” said Jason Albert. Rich Brennan now guided the fans to a special video recapping Sasha Banks’ attack on Becky Lynch during their recent NXT Women’s Title match. Sasha snapped back on Becky’s arm and the referee was forced to call for the bell. Becky Lynch hasn’t been seen since then but she joined tonight’s show via satellite. Becky informed everyone that she would be back soon. “Sasha Banks separated my shoulder and I can’t do much of anything competition wise for at least a month. I gotta tell ya Rich, I’m pissed. I feel like I was just hitting my stride and I know I can beat Sasha Banks. Then she goes and pulls this cowardly act. It’s a setback but I promise you Sasha, when I come back, I’m coming for you. And if you still have it, I’m taking the NXT Women’s Title too.” NON-TITLE MATCH: SASHA BANKS DEF. CHARLOTTE VIA REF STOPPAGE IN 11:52; In the tail end of 2014, the rivalry between Sasha Banks and Charlotte was among the best in a long time. They continued here with a hard hitting contest that saw both women come close to winning on several occasions. Charlotte’s figure four got turned over and Sasha’s Bank Statement saw Charlotte roll over into a pin attempt. The finish came when Sasha trapped Charlotte’s arm, just like she did to Becky Lynch a few weeks ago. She pulled back on the other arm and snapped it, causing the official to signal for the bell.
Charlotte writhed around the ring in pain, holding her arm. “What the hell? How could Sasha Banks do that again?” questioned Rich Brennan. Sasha Banks snatched her title from ringside and left up the ramp, not giving a single care about Charlotte’s condition. Medics came down to check on the former NXT Women’s Champion.
An advertisement ran to plug the WWE Shop.
Returning, General Manager William Regal is standing in the ring. He addressed the fans and stated that he doesn’t like to come out and take too much attention away from the stars of NXT. “Unfortunately, due to the events of recent weeks, I feel that I must speak directly to Kevin Owens, so if you would please join me in the ring Kevin.” It didn’t take long for Owens’ theme to hit the speakers. He stood across from Regal and didn’t seem pleased. Owens told him that he may be General Manager, but he doesn’t call the shots. “Understand this William. I’m out here because I want to be. Not because you requested it.” Regal responded by saying that he does run things and he called Kevin Owens out here because he’s out of control. “You not only turned your back on your friend, which is a horrible thing in itself, but you’ve been a constant disruption to my show on a weekly basis. The Tag Team Titles were vacated and your brawling all over the arena with Sami Zayn is driving me mad.” Owens laughed and said that isn’t his problem. “I’ll tell you what William. I’ll stop with the attacks and I’ll stop disrupting your precious show on one condition. I want a shot at the NXT Championship.” The crowd gave this a positive reaction but Regal declined. “You had a shot at TakeOver and you didn’t win. Sami Zayn does need a new number one contender and I was going to wait to make this announcement but starting next week there will be a tournament to determine his next challenger.” That got another positive response from the fans but not from Owens, who said that was a dumb idea. The music of NXT Champion Sami Zayn played and he walked to the stage to a huge ovation. Security rushed out and stood in between Sami and the ring. Sami told them they didn’t have to worry. “Mr. Regal, I’m sorry to interrupt but I had to say something. I understand that you think Kevin doesn’t deserve a title shot and honestly, I agree with you. But ever since he turned his back on our friendship, our brotherhood, I’ve wanted nothing more than to get my hands on him. So you can have your tournament and that’s fine, but you give me Kevin one on one or else I’ll be just as disruptive to the show as he is.” Without waiting for a response, Sami dropped the microphone and turned to head to the back. Regal looked unsure of what to do but Kevin Owens had a smirk on his face to close the broadcast.

Thursday Night Smackdown: January 15th, 2015 – Baton Rouge River Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Once the WWE signature played, the weekly Smackdown intro video was shown. On the show’s return to Thursday nights, a new commentary team was introduced. Mauro Ranallo, Byron Saxton and John “Bradshaw” Layfield handled things. Mauro said that he was excited for his WWE debut and that these three would be the voices of Smackdown going forward. “Tonight promises to be huge. We have a huge six man tag match set as well as a Royal Rumble preview when Cody Rhodes goes one on one with Daniel Bryan,” exclaimed Mauro.
Renee Young stood in the ring and introduced her special guest to kick off Smackdown, Dean Ambrose. Ambrose came out to a thunderous ovation as we were taken back to Raw when Ambrose returned from a crazy day in New Orleans to attack Seth Rollins. Once in the ring, Renee asked him about this past Monday. Dean responded by saying that it was a typical night for him. “I had some beers, I flashed a bunch of people and I beat up Seth Rollins.” The fans laughed and Renee continued by asking for his thoughts heading into the Royal Rumble. Dean said that he would guarantee victory but he knows the Authority are gunning for him. “Hell, I guaranteed a win at TLC and look where that got me. So listen up Authority members. No matter what number I draw in the Royal Rumble, the second I enter this ring I’m coming for you. I don’t care if it’s Kane, Sheamus, Seth Rollins, Batista or Stephanie McMahon. I’m gonna throw each and every single one of you over the top and with the Authority gone, I’ll be in the clear to win the whole damn thing.” The cheers turned to boos when Seth Rollins’ theme played. He walked out onto the stage and said that Dean was dreaming. “The same thing that happened at TLC will happen again at the Royal Rumble. You’ll try your hardest and you’ll be this wacky lunatic that these idiots love and it’ll get you nowhere. At the end of the day, an Authority member will have their hand raised and even if it isn’t me, I have this briefcase. I guarantee you I will be WWE Champion by this June.” Dean gave a chuckle and promised to make sure Seth never cashed in. Seth didn’t like that and before he could respond, Dean’s opponent for tonight, Kane, made his way to the ring.
DEAN AMBROSE DEF. KANE IN 5:14; Seth Rollins stayed atop the ramp to watch this match. Kane came out of the blocks with his power based offense and even nailed the chokeslam. Dean Ambrose kicked out and rallied. He put the former Director of Operations down with Dirty Deeds. A frustrated Seth looked on while his rival racked up another victory. The video from this past Monday aired to chronicle the upcoming Hall of Fame induction of the “Macho Man” Randy Savage. The Wyatt Family were shown in a dark room somewhere. Bray spoke to the camera and addressed Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon and Triple H. “This is all began because we wanted the power around these parts but it’s become something different. It’s more important to teach the three of you a lesson. Even if you have absolute power, you are not in absolute control. You see, you three may be family by name or by marriage, but we are stronger than all of that. At the Royal Rumble, we end this façade and maybe, just maybe, you’ll all learn to follow the buzzards.”
THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS DEF. BIG SHOW AND BO DALLAS IN 4:22; The tandem of Bo Dallas and Big Show suffered a rare defeat tonight. They looked to have things in control until Bo made the mistake of taunting. That allowed Darren Young to tag in Titus O’Neil, who hit the Big Ending. Big Show was not happy about the result.
Backstage, Renee Young stood by with “Captain Charisma”, Christian. She asked him about the upcoming Royal Rumble match. “You know, last year I won the United States Title and thought I finally righted the ship of my career after some down years. I mean hell, it was only four years ago when I was World Heavyweight Champion. But once I lost the US Title, I was back to square one and barely on TV. It wasn’t until Edge gave me a shot at qualifying for the Royal Rumble that I realized I could still do this at a high level.” Christian stated that he has found something that was missing and is using it to fuel one last run.
Returning, AJ Lee made her way down to the ring. While on her way, the upcoming Women’s Title match at the Royal Rumble was plugged. Once in the ring, AJ was surrounded by three objects under three separate sheets. AJ mentioned that she wanted to be WWE Women’s Champion since she was a little girl. “But you’ve all heard that story before. You’ve heard about me sitting in the nosebleeds at WrestleMania XX and about me working my ass off to get where I am today so I’m not gonna go into detail about it. I’m here tonight to show you exactly what this division has become.” AJ removed the sheet from the first object to reveal a portrait of herself with the Divas Championship. “It was the best of times. Not only was I your Divas Champion, I did it for longer than anyone else in history. For 337 days, I redefined what it meant to be a woman in this business. I beat thirteen women in one match at WrestleMania, broke barriers and took the division to new highs.” AJ revealed the second portrait, this one of Paige holding the Women’s Title. “It was the not quite as good times. Paige is the greatest rival I’ll ever have in my career. We’ve gone to war, we fought for titles and even went to hell together. One thing that I must commend her for is bringing back the Women’s Title. As much as I loved being Divas Champion, it was the Women’s Title that I craved. I wish I had thought of bringing it back but Paige carried it well and she did beat me. I don’t like the girl but I respect her.” Finally, AJ revealed the final portrait, showing Emma clutching the Women’s Title and screaming. “It is the worst of times. Since turning her back on Paige and stealing the Women’s Title, Emma has brought shame to the thing I love. Don’t mistake what I’m saying. She takes her shortcuts and she attacks people from behind to get ahead and we all know I’m not above that. But that’s the thing. Unlike Emma, with me, what you see is what you get. Emma couldn’t hang by being herself so she became this paranoid…” Before AJ could continue, Emma showed up from behind, just like on Raw, and clocked her with the Women’s Title. Emma picked her up and planted her with a Michinoku Driver. Once again, Emma got the better of AJ.
A Roman Reigns vignette aired that showed clips of him setting the elimination record at last year’s Royal Rumble. The “Big Dog” returns at the Royal Rumble! ALEXANDER RUSEV, CESARO AND TYSON KIDD W/ LANA AND NATALYA DEF. ADRIAN NEVILLE, DOLPH ZIGGLER AND RYBACK IN 11:01; Lana and Natalya didn’t seem to get along at ringside, but that didn’t stop their men from working like a well-oiled machine. Kidd and Cesaro again showed why they are the fastest rising tag team in the WWE, while Alexander Rusev was his monster self and fit right in. Neville and Dolph both took a beating at times, but Ryback came in and cleaned house. He finally got his hands on Rusev and hit him with the Meat Hook clothesline. Ryback tagged Neville back in only to get hit with an uppercut that sent him outside. Neville had to fight off Cesaro but that time allowed Rusev to recover and avoid the Red Arrow. He used a big running shuffle kick to pin Neville. Kidd and Cesaro both high fived Rusev and hugged Lana, but Natalya was left out of the celebration. Renee Young stood by with Cody Rhodes and asked him about facing Daniel Bryan in the main event tonight. Cody said that he’s been looking forward to the match since it was announced. “Daniel is exactly the kind of Superstar that I am. We’ve both had countless roadblocks thrown in front of us and have found was around them. What Daniel has accomplished in the past year is unbelievable. After I defeat him tonight, I’m gonna win the Royal Rumble and my 2015 will be even better than his 2014.” CHRISTIAN DEF. FANDANGO W/ LAYLA IN 3:03; Since qualifying for the Royal Rumble a few weeks back, Christian has regained his mojo. Fandango did pick up two near falls, but couldn’t get up when Christian hit the Killswitch. “What if Christian’s ‘one more match’ is for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania?” asked Mauro Ranallo. A New Day vignette was shown next. Xavier Woods, Big E and now Kofi Kingston were all on the stage, dancing and gyrating their hips. Woods reiterated that the power of positivity was going to take over the WWE sooner than we all think. A NEW DAY COMES NEXT WEEK!The Royal Rumble “By the Numbers” video package aired. CODY RHODES DEF. DANIEL BRYAN IN 14:04; This was right up there with the best performances of Cody Rhodes’ career. It seems that finally getting past Chris Jericho has him back in Survival Trials form. Daniel Bryan attempted the Yes Lock but Cody rolled through, jumped up and hit the Disaster Kick. Bryan got his shoulder up and Cody was in disbelief. He went for Cross Rhodes, but Bryan countered into a dragon sleeper. Cody reached the ropes and Bryan was ready with the Busaiku Knee. Cody ducked and Bryan went knee first into the turnbuckle. Cody hooked him and hit Cross Rhodes to pick up a huge victory. After the match, Cody helped Bryan up and the two shook hands in a show of respect before they compete in the Royal Rumble in ten nights.

- Seth Rollins doesn't even need to win the 2015 Royal Rumble Match because he still has the Money in the Bank briefcase which he could cash in on the WWE World Heavyweight Champion...because think about this Rollins could cash in during the Triple Threat Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble between Lesnar (c), Cena and Orton his fellow Authority member and it turns into a Fatal 4-Way Match or Rollins could cash in on whoever the champion is right after the match immediately and become champion that way or Rollins could cash in at Fast Lane hell he could even cash in at WrestleMania 31...but either way how long can Ambrose really stop Rollins from cashing in? But seriously Rollins would have to have a death wish to cash in especially considering the WWE World Heavyweight Champion is The Beast Brock Lesnar and Ambrose if he wants to get to Rollins especially in the Royal Rumble Match he would have to eliminate Authority members such as Kane, Sheamus and last year's winner The Animal Batista
- Ambrose beating Kane...just goes to show you that Ambrose will do anything to stop Rollins or get to him on any level Ambrose is on a roll right now hell he could be one of the favorites to win the Royal Rumble Match but Rollins too is also in the Royal Rumble Match and so is Kane and I am sure The Authority well fellow members if they are in the match with Rollins they will make sure to protect him but what if Ambrose eliminates them before Rollins gets there? Or what if Rollins gets eliminated before any of them get into the match? It all comes down to luck of the draw now doesn't it?
- The Wyatt Family are on top of their game right now they can't be stopped and come the 2015 Royal Rumble PPV they are going to have to go face to face with The McMahons and if this match becomes official then this is a 6 Man Tag Team Match that I can easily see being the semi-main event of the PPV that this match could even go on before the Royal Rumble Match or it could even open the PPV in the first match but either way I hope this match does happen at the PPV because we need a strong card especially with 10 days until the PPV
- Macho Man no doubt is headlining this 2015 WWE Hall of Fame class but who will join him in this class of yours? Or who will induct Macho?
- The Prime Time Players beating Bo Dallas and Big Show...well after this win who knows maybe The PTP could get on a roll and make noise in the WWE Tag Team division because they have been floundering in the division for a while so they could get back into contention but as for Big Show not being happy with his partner after the match I mean yeah they just lost the match on account of Bo taunting so of course Show is going to get upset but what would have been awesome is if Big Show just turned on Bo Dallas knocking him out with that KO Punch because Show doesn't need Bo Dallas he never did
- Christian he hasn't been in a Royal Rumble Match in years the last time he was ever a part of a Royal Rumble Match was 2005 actually so him being in the 2015 edition he has got to be considered a favorite Christian is a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion in his own right hell Christian he has done it all in this business except win a Royal Rumble Match which is something his best friend WWE Hall of Famer The Rated R Superstar Edge did winning the whole thing in 2010...could Christian do what his best friend did years ago and win the Royal Rumble Match? If he does he goes to WrestleMania and he gets that "One More Match" to become champion again
- Emma is the WWE Women's Champion but she is showing that she has her vicious streak still that mean streak she continues to show that she will do anything to keep that WWE Women's Championship but at the same time she is proving to be a cheap shot artist attacking people from behind or when they least except it but how about doing it face to face like a real woman? But then again she is showing that she is nothing more than a coward but come Royal Rumble she has to defend her WWE Women's Championship against not only AJ Lee but also against Paige in a Triple Threat Match where she doesn't even have to be involved in the decision to lose her title because AJ could make Paige tap or pin her or vice versa Paige could make AJ tap or pin her either way Emma loses her title in that scenario so what is she going to be able to do about it?
- It is so obvious Roman Reigns is going to win the 2015 Royal Rumble Match hell you couldn't even make it more obvious by putting a neon sign on Roman that is how obvious it is with all these vignettes about him hyping his return...be prepared for the crowd to turn on Roman Reigns be prepared for the fans of this diary to turn on Roman simply just for winning I'm telling you...yeah Roman may have set the record breaking Kane's record by eliminating 12 men in the Royal Rumble Match last year and being in the Final 2 with last year's winner The Animal Batista but can Roman break his own record? If Roman Reigns is in the Royal Rumble Match I hope he gets an early entry number like #1 or #2 and he has to last the whole way throughout now that would be something or if Roman gets his number anywhere from #3 to like #8 then that would be all right
- Rusev, Cesaro and Kidd beating the team of Ryback, WWE Intercontinental Champion Ziggler and Neville in 6 man Tag Team action I mean all 6 men have their respective rivalries with each other and to see it all come to ahead in this match makes sense given that Ziggler has to defend his title at the PPV against Kidd and Rusev the WWE United States Champion having to face Ryback sooner or later but then that leaves Neville and Cesaro who I am sure will probably have their rivalry soon enough but then again Kidd and Cesaro proving that they are a well oiled machine for a tag team again proving their case as to why they should become WWE Tag Team Champions but that means if they become #1 Contenders they would have to come face to face with the WWE Tag Team Champions Harper & Rowan of the Wyatt Family but Kidd having yet another victory over Ziggler in a match just goes to show you that we could be looking at the next WWE Intercontinental Champion but Rusev he is going to have to defend his title against Ryback sooner or later but Rusev being in the Royal Rumble Match being undefeated being unbeaten being unstoppable Rusev could even break Reigns' record of most eliminations but then again Ryback is also in the Royal Rumble Match and so are Cesaro and Neville as well
- What makes Cody Rhodes think that he is anywhere near Daniel Bryan's level? There may be some similarities keyword some similarities but Rhodes his circumstances were nothing and are nothing like Bryan's because Bryan had to go through The Authority he had to go through The Beast Brock Lesnar he had to deal with so much and Cody can't even possibly relate to any of that at all because he hasn't had to deal with The Authority or he has never come face to face with The Beast The Conqueror but Rhodes winning the 2015 Royal Rumble Match I don't think he will
- Christian beating Fandango...I mean Christian he could be a favourite to win the 2015 Royal Rumble Match but then again Christian as of late he has been on somewhat of a roll but could that culminate into him winning the Royal Rumble Match? I mean Fandango I am sure will most likely be in the Royal Rumble Match too
- The New Day finally showing up on RAW next week...I wonder if all 3 members of The New Day will be in the Royal Rumble Match? Or if 2 members end up being in it? Or if only one of them is able to...either way with The New Day showing up I can see them instantly making noise in the WWE Tag Team division especially but then they would have to come face to face with Harper and Rowan of the Wyatt Family who are the WWE Tag Team Champions
- Always love the Royal Rumble By The Numbers video package because it helps promote it helps hype up the Rumble Match even more
- Main event Cody Rhodes beats Daniel Bryan in the main event I am still in shock here this has got to be considered an upset with Rhodes beating Bryan considering Bryan is a former multiple time WWE World Heavyweight Champion and Rhodes he has never ever been champion but could have come close had he won Survival Trials but him beating Bryan has got to be considered a shock win though if you really think about it...I would have never have thought that Rhodes could get the job done but this match has got to be considered one of the best main event matches especially on Smackdown in quite a while because it was so evenly matched the back and forth sequences the counters made the match all the more entertaining but Rhodes after beating Bryan could he win the Royal Rumble Match? Rhodes he has a habit for eliminating men because in 2012 he eliminated the most men in that match and then in 2009 he was in the Final 4 when he was a member of Legacy but then in 2013 and 2014 he actually put on great showings but 2015 could it finally be the year he wins? Who knows
