So why can't we go back to that Era? Because there is no more competition. And the Attitude Era worked because that time period was perfect for it with the perfect people. Steve Austin and DX came along at the right time. The world loved wrestling and the world loved South Park and things that pushed the envelope. Times have changed and the current product is very good. It has its downsides but so did the Attitude Era which we've pointed out but you've ignored. Well the WWE can start by making John Cena a heel.

Because Cena's merch generates so much revenue he wont be turned heel. Especially at the moment with Vinnie's pocket taking a hit over the network. Its time to give up on this one lads. There are things to do with Cena without turning him heel that can freshen up his act.

That's not gonna change anything about the writing or the era. You're blinded by your hatred of John Cena and the things you post make no sense and are downright absurd.

He has the look, height, and body to be the face of the WWE, and that is something I wouldn't ever dispute about. Also the reason why I have 3 John Cena figures. Such as what? His wrestling skills aren't on par with Bret Hart, Y2J, Kurt Angle, etc...

One huge tweak is that Vince could have Cena perform is to start taking his opponents seriously. as a top guy it is incredibly harmful when Cena is booked to laugh off his opponents even after they have done him grievous harm. They also need to dial the Supercena down a touch. Nobodys finisher ever does him in(Bryan @ SSlam was an exception).Again this is destructive when something like the Bullhammer puts EVERYONE down but it wont pin Cena yknow?

Just because you choose to ignore his skills doesn't mean that they don't exist. They could just freshen up the character. Have him take heels seriously instead of laughing them off and not be booked SUPERCENA style where he overcomes every odd although Hogan and Austin were similar when they were the face so go figure.

Steve Balmer just bought the Clippers for 2 billion dollars so that got me thinking, couldn't someone rich just buy the WWE from McMahon outright? Wrestling was never meant for kids, wrestling should be and only be meant for adults. Sure most of you guys were probably kids back during the Attitude era, but that was prior to the technology era. The attitude era generation of kids are nothing like kids today. We need an owner who is not all about profit but about entertainment. We need someone who willing to spend money on good wrestling product because they enjoy it, they enjoy the Attitude Era. Cut down on the number of shows, hell just have one RAW show is enough so that wrestlers will have no limits to what they want to do in the ring. Make John Cena a heel and cuss and f-bomb the kids saying that his statement "Rise Above Hate" was nothing more than a charade to get on Vince good side. For those of you say that the Attitude era is the past and agree with me that the PG Era is nothing compare to the Attitude Era yet you continue to be die-heart devoted WWE fan, what does that make you? Your supporting exactly what you should not be supporting. For those who like the new WWE PG, well I guess this thread don't really apply to you. Let's make this perfectly clear for you, so you may understand it... 1. You can't just buy something that isn't for sale. Vince isn't going to sell his million dollar company that is still making money. So, no. Someone can't just buy it outright. Common sense tells you that. 2. Wrestling has ALWAYS been meant for kids. The Attitude Era was a small exception, as it's target audience was 18-24. Still, many things didn't push the boundaries in that era and was still directed toward kids. The fact that you haven't watched since 2002 and didn't watch in the early 90's further shows your lack of knowledge on the topic. 3. As a WRESTLING fan, the Attitude Era sucked. Some of the worst wrestling produced by the WWE. Everything was a soap opera and the majority was still poorly done. If you want to watch that, watch it on the WWE Network, or buy DVDs. 4. You clearly don't understand how a business works. So once again, your lack of knowledge on this subject is apparent. 5. If you don't like the current product, don't watch it. You complaining about something you CLAIM you don't watch (which is complete BS) is just annoying.

Yes, it does. There seems to be many people on here who can find at least one thing that they like from WWE and they are not kids. I'm 38 and I enjoy WWE. Not all of it, but enough that I don't feel the need to complain about what I don't like. If your 38, then I would assume you didn't first started to watch wrestling during the Attitude Era am I right? You watch the PG era Hogan and Savage I would presume? That not the case for me, I grew up watching the Attitude Era wrestling and that is what I associated wrestling with, and all I known. I wouldn't have bother watching wrestling in the 80's though. You sound like you are 12..

Hostile Takeover is an option surely? But whoever tried that would need a sh*tload of money...

Wrestling was never meant for kids? Did you watch WWE prior to the Attitude Era? You clearly don't understand WWE. If you're wanting the Attitude Era to come back, then stop living in the past. It's gone, get over it. As for my personal opinion, I think the Attitude Era was awful. I also enjoyed WWE the most in the very late 80s and early 90s. Does that mean that I think we should try and replicate that era? Definitely not. And, since the OP's posts require a facepalm, here you go:
