Eh sorry. I'm a bitter person. I lost 20 pounds of fat and started packing on muscle prior to becoming sick. Now I lost almost all of my muscle mass, right when I was starting to really get some results. It's demoralizing and extremely frustrating when you work so hard to achieve a goal and when it's finally within arms reach I get hit with a awful sickness that causes me to be stuck in bed for a whole month and throwing up if I eat any REAL food and causes me to have a major set back. Why would you hate the fact that I'm trying to gain weight? In the end we have the same goal..look and feel the best we possibly can from a physical and mental standpoint. Dont get me wrong, in no way am I comparing a cold with mono but I know that feeling when your in the middle of really working towards building your body up and you get sick and you just feel completely helpless. Every day just feels wasted because you have just zero energy to do anything. Hard enough dealing with that for a week or so I cant imagine going through with it for a month or more, sucks you had to go through that but I wish you all the best putting back that muscle on...

It's all good man, no worries. Your loosing weight, that's all that matters at this point. Your working towards your goal it's gonna take you a considerable amount of time. I lost close to 70 pounds a few years back. Didn't realize but I've ballooned up again. I started running and watching what I eat, seeing it go down little by little. Not interested in a flash diet like that though, it definitely messed me up a bit.

I'm on a bulk at the moment, but good luck to all of you wanting to lose weight.
Good to see some of you accepting the problem and taking matters into your own hands rather than just waiting around for something to change. All of you doing something about your weight have my respect.

I wouldn't say that I'm doing a whole lot to lose weight, mainly just going on a simple diet of nothing very bad. I started 3 weeks ago and haven't had any fried food/soft drinks since and I've already lost quite a bit of my belly. I now just eat home cooked meals like Chicken Burgers, Lamb Steak, Beef etc. With some steamed vegetables and if I'm extra hungry some pasta. I'm also going to start exercising again soon to try and get the weight off easier, good luck to everyone else. I was 215, Im at 198. Im getting there haha. Water, drink plenty of it. You'd be surprise how much cutting out pop and koolaid or whatever you drink can do for you! That's crazy. You started losing weight what, like 20 days ago and you've already lost 17 pounds, congrats.

As you can tell, I totally got rid of fat. With exams these last two weeks I couldn't workout much and didn't eat really healthy which is uncommon, and being endomorph, I gained a little layer of fat. Looking forward to burn that and go beast for more summer gains.

I'm currently trying to gain some weight back. I was at 200 last thanksgiving, I dropped down to 180 and I was happy with my body as I was finally putting on muscle mass. This month I got mono and I dropped over 20 pounds (unintentionally) and I'm currently at 157 (I'm also 6'3) I'm still feeling exhausted from the mono so I can't get myself into the gym just yet but I hope to get back to 180 once I can finally start lifting and eating normal again. Ah, the Tim Duncan diet, lucky

I was 215 a month ago. When I made the thread I was 204, now im 198. Not that much different Still 17 pounds in a month is good progress for just a low level diet and some DDP Yoga. Yeah, I haven't been doing much DDP Yoga lately, but I have kept going with the low level diet.

Just cut soda, fast food, and anything that's fried. I mainly eat a banana & oatflakes (w/ low fat milk) in the morning, pasta w/ tuna (before workout), rice & chicken breast (after workout), and some wheat bread w/ 0% cheese and any yogurt thats high in protein whenever I'm hungry. I also have egg whites at night for more gains, and drink like 3-4l of water per day and have lot of green salad through out the day. I have problems finding the right meals though as those are pretty much the only bodybuilding friendly meals I know. Forgot to mention, first pic was taken in March 3rd, second in May 13th. I don't remember having any real cheat meal as my body doesn't allow me that, and I used to lift weights. I also used to KILL abs. Now I stopped gym for a month because of lack of time and I just do freeletics.

I'm officially cutting soda out tomorrow (I have a Pepsi in the fridge and my mom will kill me if I waste it), and I'm gonna try and do a lot of running this summer. I'd go to the gym but I have no way of getting there, so I'll start that when I get my drivers license in a few months. Other than running this summer I'll do some kettle bell exercises. Regarding food, I kinda just have to eat what my parents cook, but I'll try and nudge them to make healthier meals.
