My favourite player, plays for Sevco. Yuck. My condolences are with you in this tough time. In other news... What a bounce for our goals last night. It's great having Euro games for a pre season but hopefully we'll have them well into next year. It could damage our chances of a league push but what a financial boost it would be! Upwards of €2.75m if we get to the group stages, then you've got ticket money, TV revenue and surely increases in home league attendances. €320k if we win a group game and €160k if we get a draw. That would give us an incredible platform for an exciting January transfer window. Hold on, somebody pinch me! Am I really thinking we can make the group stages?!

We've been linked with Scott Allan. Not sure how much he'd improve us with Jack/Flood/Robson probably ahead of him in the pecking order and him being quite similar to Jack from the little I've seen of him. Wouldn't be a disaster to lose Flood to secure a promising young Scottish talent though. I still think we'll have 1 or 2 in before the end of the season with 1 being a very high caliber signing. As long as this isn't it, I'll be happy.

Well we're due a result in the league. 5 defeats in a row and 10 defeats out of 11 games. If we get an equal share of the points from our games then we'll be in with a shout. Celtic getting 12 points and us getting none absolutely killed us last season. Anything closer and we're in with a shout imo.
EDIT: Just realised that 2 wins each is what I should be hoping for. There's only been 1 draw since the 4-4 at Pittodrie in 09/10!

What a game against St. Johnstone yesterday. Juanma looks like he was specifically created to play in the SPL lol! It was the youngsters who shone yet again though, Walker is going to be something special.
I just hope these lads don't end up down south playing in the championship. I really think we need more players going to Germany, Italy and Spain and giving it a crack.

So here comes the time of year when we're all told that supporting Celtic in Europe is the right thing because it makes the coefficient better. We'd need us and Celtic to win 9 games in the group stages to even get a sniff of the 2nd CL spot.
Sort the league and make our teams stronger, that's what will fix the coefficient. There's no way having a team earning what the rest of the league earns in total is a good thing for anyone other than themselves.

Who makes the decision to have us play 3 and a bit hours away on a Wednesday night? Idiotic, but hey ho. Good result, thought we could have nicked it but a point away at Inverness is a great result. Cerny has been some signing, kept us in it at times last night too.
Hearts are having a great run. Can't believe higgys penalty last night.
