Havent posted for a week or two my thoughts on recent results
The draw was worrying against Killie......because then Celtic conceded two sh*te goals against ICT as well. but at least there's no defeats yet...but that issue at the back has to be plugged.
Aberdeen or Hearts I feel will punish us there in a tight game and squeeze out a win. On the plus side though? we have no sweat scoring.
Then there was last night......that 2nd goal for Malmo was crucial for them. They still have to win but doing it one nil will square away the tie.
Ambrose is a donkey!!!

We're trying to weed out our diet rangers support from the club, it's a slow progress. Wont apoligise for "we're from the capital, you're from a crapehole" chant as it is entirely accurate lol!!! Top of the league today, savoring every moment.

I made the mistake of sitting in section N at Tynecastle once. Thats the wee corner of the stadium you see on the left hand side of your TV where they chant that pish. I was brought up catholic, went to a catholic school, you name it. I just stood there in disgust. the funny thing is, they were all scummy neds. Even the older ones, they're people you'd laugh at in life. That guy who run and attacked Neil Lennon drinks at the boozer i got to to watch the football in. He is the biggest loser i've ever seen in my life. He was in during the Celtic vs Malmo game a few days back cheering on Malmo. When i say 'cheering' i mean screaming at the top of his lungs. I actually think he wants someone to leather him, but he is one of those kind of clowns that no matter how many kick-ins he gets. He wont change. Can't believe the bird he is with, bloody tidy and hes a rat lol! I support Hearts because they were my local team, and i am FIERCELY proud of being from Edinburgh. I support Hearts as a representation of my city, not because of bigoted and racists reasons like they idiots. Went on a wee rant there lol!!

Aye, you stick to your own songs about fenian b@$tards, the famine and Bobby Sands which are routinely heard. Celtic are slowly getting there with "Ooh Ah Up the 'Ra" getting more and more prevalent during the Celtic Symphony though. Can't wait 'til this prestigious rivalry is "back" in Scottish football! God speed... Anyway, came in to laugh at Celtic, not songs, so hehe. Great news for the league. Joan Collins and Dialer are left with egg on their faces after their comments, just like Groningen were "80% through" after our first leg with them. When will teams learn to just keep their traps shut and not give the opposition ammo for the dressing room wall?! VVD going with hopefully no one coming in leaving a back 4 of: RB from Janko/Lustig 2 CH from Ambrose/Mulgrew/Boyata LB from Mulgrew/Izaguirre Celtic missing out on >£10m from the CL Hopefully one or two other transfer requests going in. Rumoured going out of Celtic Park: Commons, Biton, Griffiths, Stokes and Boerrigter. Hopefully the league tightens up a wee bit. Celtic missing out on the money from the group stages of Europe could realistically carve the league wide open. When was the last time a Scottish team went farther than either Celtic or old Rangers in Europe?

When was the last time a Scottish team went farther than either Celtic or old Rangers in Europe? Both Hearts and Rangers were in the 04-05 UEFA Cup groups. Hearts played a day later than Rangers. 94-95 was the last time a club went farther than either of the Old Firm with Celtic finishing 4th in the league and missing out on Europe and Rangers going out in the qualifying rounds. If someone else wins the league, I can seriously see this weakening Celtic if they go out in the early rounds of the EL, and especially with them nearing a massive drop in coefficient points. I don't think they'd be seeded in the 3rd playoff round! Anyone else winning the league could mean Celtic really have to cut back their spending unless someone wants to throw cash at them. Good god I hope it happens. Scottish football back on it's feet and being competitive again after 20 years! What a thought!

Yeah laugh away Pudgie......God love ya man.
Malmo wanted it WAY more. Celtic were punished for having the back gate swinging open & discipline was also a problem. I knew Rosenberg would get on the score sheet....hes their top man up front and was missing the first leg....that's why I wasn't too optimistic.
At least all the whining about the late goal in the home leg can f*ck off now. Even if Malmo had just scored the one goal at Parkhead it was still enough for them to do the job at home.
Wish we weren't in Europa though.....I would prefer to concentrate on the domestic side of things.

You make it very hard to laugh with your level headed approach, please start being more like the rest of the Celtic fans you see online! It would make it much easier Can't disagree with anything you've said apart from the last line. You could realistically get to the final with a kind draw and from there you never know. I suppose it's harder now as there's a pack chasing in the league rather than just one team and losing the league would be an instant sackable offence if there wasn't an EL final, or cup double at the very least.

I've always been the same way man.....raised a Celtic fan by my Father and Grandad who were Celtic fans. I get the level headed thing from my Grandfather though.....LOL. When most were supporting Liverpool, United etc in Ireland there was still loads of us following Celtic....during the dark times of 9 leagues in a row heading to ibrox......black black days.....until the glory of the 97/98 season. To me Europa is an irritation. Its just a distraction because their NEVER going to win it. Just haven't got the squad.......as I said if somebody doesn't put a bolt on our back gate we are gonna suffer..... I would prefer Ronnie to focus at home....as you have said its more competitive this year and we have already dropped 2 points with a VERY careless draw. Europa annoys me too because it makes it tricky to plans trips. We have to hedge our bets and travel early on Saturday and stay until Monday because we dunno when the games are gonna be on!!

I'm not sure. I don't want to think it, but I struggle to see why you couldn't win it if that was the priority. Like you said, having the squad is the main issue as I can't see there being many games now where a second string side could waltz it (bar Dundee Utd, they're horse!) and that's a necessity for the group stages in Europe and a successful league campaign. Speaking of squad depth, I was really surprised to see Fisher go out on loan for the season. I thought that was exactly the type of "squad depth" player needed. Even Henderson and McGeough that were given to Hibs. Hell, you could even play these guys in the Europa League if it's that much of a distraction and keep half of the starting XI for domestic duty. The travel for the games is ridiculous. At least the group stages, you know where you're going, but there's sometimes only 6 days notice before the day of the game in the qualifiers! It's a disgrace! Apparently there's a bid going in for Amorebieta from Fulham. Not sure if that's a hugely inspiring signing. Especially when you consider the options around him. Seems to be quite injury prone as well missing spells here and there.

Good god I've ever felt this happy as an Aberdeen fan. It's so easy. McInnes knows exactly what he's doing and I don't think anything needs pointed out to him. I can just enjoy my day out and let the team get on with it. Fantastic stuff!

How are Celtic on top Pudgie? Did Aberdeen have a draw somewhere? bad slip by Hearts the weekend. Also Celtics defence continues to terrify!!! Hearts will plummet, if not now, soon. They're a bottom 6 side nailed on. You were getting 28/1 on that at Ladbrokes not too long ago. Massive odds for a team that still plays half a team that were relegated 2 seasons ago. We postponed a game against Hamilton because of the Euro fixtures. Why on earth we have midweek games that early in the season I'll never know! It's getting played between the Celtic and Hearts game so coming out of that 8 days with anything close to maximum points would be unbelievable. It seems like Deila has panicked massively. Two risky, young acquisitions from Man United and it looks like Simunovic is coming from Zagreb. Not exactly something to salivate over! But then I thought that with Denayer and I'd say he was a better option than van Dijk at times. Tomorrow looks like it'll be an interesting day with May ending back up in Scotland somewhere, a striker and centre half likely coming into Celtic, McInnes' hush hush transfer policy keeping things interesting for us right until midnight... Roll on the deadline!
