What about all the other years LeBron didn’t win the MVP but was still “the best player in the world?” Or is that irrelevant because he wasn’t with the Lakers?

LeBron has been the real MVP whether he wins the award or not and it’s been that way since probably 07-08. Maybe a bit later. A 4x champion approaching his 18th year with a career average of 27-7-7. Is he perfect? No. Is he the highest scorer? No. Best defensive player? No. Most important player on any team? Yes. Best overall player in the league? Yes. Most dominant? Yes. That makes him the most VALUABLE player. |

Apparently, Harden is open to play in Brooklyn, Philly, Miami, or Milwaukee.
No clue how this is going to end, but I'd put money against the Nets or Milwaukee. Neither could put together the best offer.

I don't think it will happen but I would like to see him with the Bucks. It might not help them improve at all but it would be fun to watch.

Neither of them are amazing off-ball either. This is the problem with Harden. He's lazy but can try at times as evident by his steal numbers. A friend put it well to me, it didn't work with Westrbook (twice), KD, Serge, CP3, Capela, and we'll see what this year has. He scores at an incredible clip but he needs to be the number one but he doesn't really play an entire team game. |
