So.... the MVP has said that LeBron is the best basketball player in the world.
Guess we know who the real MVP is.

What about all the other years LeBron didn’t win the MVP but was still “the best player in the world?” Or is that irrelevant because he wasn’t with the Lakers?

Russell Westbrook is wearing #4 with the wizards. Wizards #0 has not been reissued to any player since Gilbert arenas left the team.

What about all the other years LeBron didn’t win the MVP but was still “the best player in the world?” Or is that irrelevant because he wasn’t with the Lakers? It has nothing to do with the Lakers. LeBron has been the real MVP whether he wins the award or not and it’s been that way since probably 07-08. Maybe a bit later. A 4x champion approaching his 18th year with a career average of 27-7-7. Is he perfect? No. Is he the highest scorer? No. Best defensive player? No. Most important player on any team? Yes. Best overall player in the league? Yes. Most dominant? Yes. That makes him the most VALUABLE player.

I admit I’m a bit premature on the LBJ timeframe

Apparently, Harden is open to play in Brooklyn, Philly, Miami, or Milwaukee.
No clue how this is going to end, but I'd put money against the Nets or Milwaukee. Neither could put together the best offer.

Neither of them are amazing off-ball either.

I don't think it will happen but I would like to see him with the Bucks. It might not help them improve at all but it would be fun to watch.

Neither of them are amazing off-ball either. This is the problem with Harden. He's lazy but can try at times as evident by his steal numbers. A friend put it well to me, it didn't work with Westrbook (twice), KD, Serge, CP3, Capela, and we'll see what this year has. He scores at an incredible clip but he needs to be the number one but he doesn't really play an entire team game.

The Paul George contract was hilarious though. That guy better put up or LA is going to lynch him.

That's really true, and I think Kawhi should leave that train wreck. George will have to be his old self this year to convince him to stay.
