Because...
Roman Reigns Update
As of now, the plan for Reigns is to headline WrestleMania 31 against Brock Lesnar, who will be the World Champion. From there, Reigns will win and be the coronation of him as the top babyface in the company.

I like this, if it true. Reigns is capable of it I believe. It just depends if creative puts forth the effort of having a good build up.

As Much as I Love Roman Reigns its WAY too soon to even think of Him Being WWE Champion.
He's Only Been on the Main Roster for maybe 3 years now and he's Just now breaking out on his own.His Mic Skills need improvement and his wrestling is Ok but could improve some more work.Give him a IC title run first and then give him a WWE Title run. He's Not Ready for all that IMO.

I hope this isn't implying there's plans for Lesnar to hold the title all the way from SummerSlam to WrestleMania.

This is the match I've been pulling for since the day after WM30. lol If this is the running plan, I'm curious to see
1) when Lesnar wins the title. Word has it he'll win at SummerSlam or Night of Champions. If Brock is back from then until WM31 I'd be stoked, but it doesn't seem likely. TLC or Royal Rumble seems more likely.
2) if the title gets un-unified. Bryan will be back by then and I'd be shocked if they didn't put one of the two titles on him and make him the main draw on SD (if Lesnar is back full time).
3) if Reigns wins the title between now and then. Will they wait for a win over Lesnar at 31 be his first, or will his story be about him wanting to reclaim the title on the biggest stage?
I'm fine with Reigns being the next top guy. He's very, very talented. Like I said, this is the main event I'd like to see the most.

I don't get how they are going to make this work though. Brock isn't going to be champion from SummerSlam through Mania, it's just not going to happen. So does that mean Brock's going to win and lose the title twice or WWE's seriously going to let him hold the World Title hostage? There aren't even that many opponents for Brock to face. By my count there's Cena and Reigns, and MAYBE Cesaro and Bryan if he can get healthy and return. Anyway, this is obvious as and not even a rumor or news. We can physically see where this is headed with Reings right now and it's a joke for sheets to be writing about stuff this way like they got insider news on it.

I think putting Regins with Rollins and Ambrose helped him develope as a wrestler. He is going to be the next big star for sure.

I don't Want him to be rushed into a WWE Champion run just yet.He Just became a solo star and Is now on his own.He Needs time to develop.Lets just give him a IC title to see how is as a solo champion.Orton and Cena both started off as Mid card champions and later worked there way to WWE and World title runs I don't see why Roman can't go that same route as well.I just thinks its too soon hes gonna need more than just 8 months.

I told you all that was the plan. I'm okay with it. I like Reigns. He has lineage. He's entertaining. He has cool music. He is over. And he isn't Cena.
But here's what'll happen: he'll start getting booed by the adult males because it'll become the "cool" thing to do because his matches won't be thirty-forty five minute chain wrestling matches. He'll have him a "5 moves of doom" and he'll essentially become the new John Cena. He'll be over whith women and children, SL tons of merchandise, thus making him WWE's top guy for years. Hint: WWE doesn't cater to the "Cena sucks" type of crowd because they know we'll still watch.

This seems sort of blatantly obvious. I don't see there being a bigger match for a "coronation" outside of Reigns/Cena, which I'm sure WWE would rather avoid at this point, given the reaction Cena would get.
Reigns is the next "guy". I was hesitant to say it for quite a while, but now it couldn't be any more clear. He's got a lot of work to do on the mic, though.

If true, I could easily see it pan out like this:
-Lesnar beats Cena at Summerslam -Rollins cashes in during one of their rematches and pins Cena, triple threat rules(taking the belt of Lesnar until he has more dates without losing the belt) -Cena, Ambrose, and Reigns feud with WWE champion Rollins over the fall with the authority helping him through each match -Lesnar comes back by the Royal Rumble and beats one of the above for the title -Reigns wins the rumble
Although I'd much rather see Rollins hold the belt till mania and defend in a triple threat with Ambrose and Reigns while Bryan faces Lesnar one on one without the title

Well, I hope this doesn't mean we can kiss Daniel Bryan being a mega star goodbye and them just building up a new main event scene for the future... aka if Cena ever retires/leaves.

For all of us saying it's too early for Reigns to have a run, look at Del Rio.

He is YEARS away from being ready. Not to mention, Ambrose is out popping him already. Hell, Jack Swagger out popped him for gods sake..
