I have never been one to have to have something first. I ordered my set of E29 early like others and have not yet received them. I will be patient and understand that stuff happens. I ordered my Flair the first day it was up. I will get one and that is all the matters. Just like my ASR. As long as I get it, I won't worry about it. I will get it soon and I will be happy once I get it. Never understood the mindset of being mad about not getting something first before everyone else. I have been patient on getting the stuff I wanted and usually got it cheaper. Am I in the minority here? Maybe it's the coach in me knowing nothing happens overnight or right away. I usually am not someone who has to have it first either, but in this case, with Flair I have wanted this figure since day one. Didn't want to wait a day longer to get it, so I pre-ordered it. RSC takes my money with the promise of me getting it in a timely manner, which they haven't been able to fullfill. That's the problem that I have with this. I won't be canceling my order with RSC as I am still a loyal customer to them, but I am still frustrated with the fact that they haven't been able to fullfill my order yet, that's all.

It's cases like this that make me hate toy collecting mixed with the internet.
Because of mattel shipping mishap, other retailers got theirs first. As soon as people started posting that they got them. Others have been on a rampage about ringside not getting them yet.
To me this is no different than when someone posts they found a new series. Then EVERYONE gets overly excited and starts running out to stores to find nothing. Then run back and complain they found nothing. That all they did was waste time and gas looking.
Well that's distribution. Some places get things before others. No reason to get up in arms about it. If you pre ordered it. You'll have one soon enough. This hobby is supposed to be fun and relaxing. For too many times do I see anger, jealousy and bitterness within it... relax and enjoy your toys!

I 100% agree with ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I enjoy the hunt just as much as the find. I rarely preorder, but sometimes you gotta do it. I did it with the ASR and Flair. Obviously I was not sure either would hit retail so I bit the bullet. I also preordered E30 since there is so many I want in that set. Otherwise I relax and enjoy the process.

In fairness that is not Mattel's trouble with distribution. That's retailers. Mattel ships their product to each retailers main distribution center. Then it's up to the retailers to ship it across the country to all their stores. It's usually 2-3 weeks before something turns up here in the northeast after it is found on the west coast. So I don't start looking until at least 2 weeks after it's found in CA. Now with Flair Mattel did drop the ball because every retailer they shipped it to should have had it on June 30.

The difference here is that I have already paid for my figure and should have had it the same time everyone else did and that isn't the case. I know I will soon have it, but as stated several times before, just frustrated with it. When someone posts a thread about finding a new set at Target, target doesn't already have my money so I am not upset when I come back empty handed.

I am glad I didn't pre order. I ordered mine from Target the first day it was available and had it in my hands 4 days later! MINT condition too I might add!

I honestly am in as much anticipation as the next guy, but this is a big company we're talking about with millions and billions of orders, so keep that in mind.

You and I understand that. How many times in the last few years since mattel has taken over have those threads been started? Someone finds new wave. Everyone flips and goes looking. Post after post of angry collectors blaming mattel for horrible distribution. This flair thing. Matty messed up. And sadly rsc is paying for it.how many sales have they lost so someone could have it a week earlier. I don't get it. Maybe because i also preorder some things a year in advance. *shrugs*

If Ringside gets their shipment in this week then it's honestly no big deal to me. I've waited 4 years for Flair, I can wait a couple more days. The figure looks incredible and I'm extremely excited to get it. I'm happy they addressed the situation though. I just didn't want to be left in the dark with what was going on.

Cool if they toss that set in... but they really shouldn't have to do that... wow
I'd rather have 20 black chairs..lol.. I'm still waiting on exclusive rock E 29 E 28 big show
All because i ordered it all with flair.... and I honestly couldn't care less that people already have him. I know I'm getting him.

So the guy that complains gets free stuff, but all of us patiently waiting and not bitching get nothing. Awesome.

So the guy that complains gets free stuff, but all of us patiently waiting and not bitching get nothing. Awesome. Correct. That is the way it always works. But to be fair, if you don't say anything how is the business supposed to know how you feel? I was just letting them know that this isn't okay with me. Wasn't bashing them as I know this problem is probably out of their hands. But, just because the mistake wasn't there fault, doesn't mean they are not the ones of the hook for it. Did RSC need to give me a free item....The answer is no. But since they did give me a free item, the frustration with the whole situation stings a little less.
