Sexton Hardcastle Reckless Youth Mike Quackenbush CM Punk Yeesh. Good list, man. High quality there. I took Claudio over Quack but I get it. He's pretty much legendary.

Kind of went OLD school moreso than others. Hardcastle is WHAT got me into indy wrestling. Then I found Youth and Quack, which led me to Punk.

Mine is identical, but I'd trade out Hardcastle for Danielson.

I also couldnt ignore his impact to indy wrestling by opening doors to WWE for so many others.

Michael Modest, Christopher Daniels, Nick Mondo, and Bryan Danielson would be my four. The pioneers who laid the foundation for everything to follow.
The other three should be fairly obvious by that criteria but 2014, Drake Younger, Sami Callihan, Danny Havoc, and several "smaller name" guys are all crediting Mondo as "the guy" who got them into the indies. Two of the three are signed to WWE now. And Danny Havoc isn't a paraplegic yet, so he's doing okay by his own standards.

Wait... weren't you the one that said "Nope" to my opinion? Learn hypocrisy, buddy. Deathmatches aren't wrestling. Mondo was a ballsy, innovative guy. Horrible wrestler. Find me a good Nick Mondo wrestling match... or is that too tough, being that every result on YouTube/Google is deathmatch garbage? Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match from Cage of Death 3, against Adam Flash and Nick Berk. Remains my favorite TLC match behind X7 and will likely never be topped. Versus Nate Webb from IWA-MS 301. Versus CM Punk from MAW (or Steel Domain) 2002. They did the same match a couple of times "on the loop" around the midwest. Versus Trent Acid. CZW at the Arena, sometime in 2003? It's a match that really got me into indy wrestling. Versus Abdullah the Butcher from BJW 2000. Yeah, I'm being serious. And no, even though it was an Abdullah match, it wasn't a blood and guts match. It was probably the best match someone could've got from Abby in 2000+. Mondo worked the leg, slowly chopped Abby down, then bumped like a superball for Abby judo chops and eventually a fork for the DQ. It was like 10 minutes and maintained credibility for both of them. Have maintained for a while it should've been Abby's retirement match.

I have not gotten it yet, this is just what I am hearing from folks. :Que "Last Resort": VPV
