Roddy and the Briscoes ARE independent wrestling.
Edit: Surprised at all the love for Mondo with all the hate death match wrestling gets on here. Dude deserved so much more. He was great in the ring. Mondo in a PWG setting would have been amazing.

Dude deserved so much more. He was great in the ring. Mondo in a PWG setting would have been amazing. Nick Mondo is arguably the most recognisable death match star on the Indies... I would have mine as: Bryan Danielson - one of the biggest names of Ring of Honor over it's existence Samoa Joe - long time force in the independents Nick Mondo - as said above El Generico or Low Ki as I can't decided on a fourth. |

When I think indie wrestling, he's right there with Joe and Danielson for me. He was awesome in the ring and I really wish he didn't waste himself on deathmatches. |

I'm curious if you guys put Necro up there with Mondo. I had a hard time choosing between the two. Or do you guys not put Necro on Mondos level?

I'm a huge fan of Necro, but I don't think he quite defines that aspect of indie wrestling for me like Mondo does. Chalk it up to me coming into the fray a few years earlier than most.

Especially if we're going with 4 men/women that signify Independent wrestling... why would Mondo be in that mix? The guy worked CZW. Shouldn't even be spoken in the same breath as Danielson, Hero, Joe, Ki, Generico, etc.
