Who's idea is it to put JBL, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler at the announce table? Commentary is awful. All they do is argue half the time and it just looks ridiculous. I only like Lawler to be honest.

You like lawler? He's the worst of them all! At least the other two attempt to act interested and care to be there. You can just tell he doesn't give a sh*t and just does it for the paycheck at this point

They're annoying sometimes but I can deal with them. Tom Phillips has been very good the last couple of weeks on Smackdown though.

I think it's like JR said on SAS. It's the type of commentary WWE wants right now. I think all three can be great, but WWE has a very specific direction in mind.

That would be one of the first things I'd fix if I was in charge. It's been bad ever since they turned Cole heel. They've never rebounded from it.

im literally forcing myself every week to drown out the sound of it
but sometimes Cole says things that make me literally angry, then JBL adds his shitty catchphrases, Lawler tells a "only funny in the 90's" joke and it's all downhill from there

There's no chemistry there. JBL & Cole just mindlessly argue and rant. Lawler was good before he was being force fed stupid ads & 1 liners. Lawler was great at 1 liners but it has to be quick and from the hip, you cant write it out and try to plant it into the show.

I just wish they'd focus on the match and not some cheesy joke. It makes the matches feel less important IMO.

There were a few occasions where Cole was actually calling what was in the ring and doing some serious commentary and JBL is just off rambling like a fool about something so random and irrelevant to what's going on that it really takes away from the show. |

Agreed. Commentary now is horrible. Though I think the problem is more so Vince than the guys in the booth.
