I might have less interest in this now than I did before. I guess Ricochet vs Morrison will be interesting, but I don't care for either guy in ring so meh.

I dislike that this is barely a AAA show and more of a "Let's just find people from the California indy scene and put them in a show, and let's add a couple AAA guys just to make it seem like a lucha libre show"

Outside of ricochet, Chavo and Morrison it's all AAA dudes so far. Lol
Chavo was expected, friends with Konnan and his name brings value.
Morrison is a dude who brings star power to an otherwise unknown roster, and dude can still work.
And ricochet, say no more..the man is the best unsigned wrestler in the world. Gonna be the star of this thing.
Looks super rad so far.

Without spoiling anything on the shows taped, here's the AAA guys and the non AAA guys who will appear on the shows without counting the Dark matches.
AAA guys: Pimpinela Escarlata, El Mesias (Mil Muertes), Hijo del Fantasma (King Cuerno), Drago, Fenix, Sexy Star, Pentagon Jr., Mascarita Sagrada, Blue Demon Jr.
Non AAA guys: Matt Cross (Son of Havoc), Famous B, Chavo Guerrero Jr., Ezekiel Jackson (Big Ryck), Ricochet (Prince Puma), Maxine (Catrina), Mariachi Loco, Ivelisse, John Morrison (Johnny Mundo), Ricky Mandel, Ricky Reyes (Cortez Castro), Lil Cholo (Mr. Cisco)
Now these aren't even counting the dark matches, cause the dark matches are mostly non-AAA guys, so again, this is basically a California lucha indy promotion with some AAA guys. What I expected when this was announced was that this show would basically be a AAA show for America and they would also bring a couple of guys like Chavo and Morrison for star power. I'll still watch the show if I can find it on the internet since I don't get El Rey network, but this is not really a AAA show cause if El Mesias, Hijo del Fantasma are on the show, why change their names from their AAA names? I'm looking forward to seeing Ricochet as well.

That is definitely the wrong environment for wrestling. Too much WSX. Then, it seems like lucha is not the real focus. I do not see AAA really getting exposure here. I hope it doesn't, but it could be too much of a set of one off, non connected wrestling matches. Lucha deserves true respect in America, and this could make it seem like some wannabe fad. Here's to hoping I am wrong.

I have no problem with Chavo, Morrison, Ricochet being involved, I have no problem with Matt Striker on commentary, but when they have guys like Ezekiel Jackson in the promotion and when some of the AAA wrestlers, which this thing was supposed to be AAA in America, have to change their names, that's where it really stops being a AAA type promotion.

Konnan looks horrible... I hope the cane/wheelchair is a gimmick, what happened to him?

I'm excited about it, i really enjoy lucha style wrestling. I just hope it doesn't end up like Lucha Libre USA on Mtv, was interesting for awhile but then it just sucked.

I'm not a fan of the presentation. Having the show in a Warehouse is dumb. I'm also not a fan of the gimmick changes. Putting Ricochet under a mask is especially odd to me.
However, I will be watching it and hope that it does well.
I just worry it will look more like WMAC Masters than a wrestling program. We all know wrestling isn't real, you don't need to go out of your way to show that.

From what I've heard, it's more PWG than AAA style, but not in a good way.

I used to watch AAA on Galavision and it was pretty damn fun, even though I had no idea what they were saying - my Spanish never got better watching the show. Then they stopped showing it here in the US, which sucked.
So I was excited to watch this show, but it does look too much like WSX and not enough like AAA. WSX was pretty bad.
Lucha Libre USA was pretty fun to watch for a while. I hope this is even better and lasts longer. At least it's not gonna be a three hour chore like Raw.

I'm not the biggest Lucha Libre fan but I will check this out. I watch any wrestling show that's on TV really.

I just watched it and it wasn't bad.
I am a big fan of Morrison and I like some of the women they will have on it so I'll keep watching at least most parts of it if I can find it.

Any new wrestling show is a welcome breath of fresh air. From what I can tell on these clips is that the female wrestlers will ACTUALLY be wrestlers and not just Divas/Lingerie models.
