I've got a few custom 3D printed masks for those UMK3 ninjas that I really need to paint. They'll be miles better than the stock ones. To be fair, I kinda like Scorpion's skull face mask but the standard one that Sub-Zero shares with him isn't great at all IMO.

I really like the MK3 Scorpion. I won't pretend to be an accuracy expert, but Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 on the SNES was the only MK game I ever owned, and this just looks and feels right. Shame I missed getting Sub Zero at a good price (maybe I can get the unmasked) and I think I'll give Reptile a miss. These are expensive and he was never one of the mains to play. I'm in trouble if they make Jax and Stryker though. And Ermac. Come to think of it Cyrax was the first guy I completed a tower with, maybe I'll get him...

Okay word of advice for everyone here: If you’re ever considering to buy used figures… DON’T. It’s not worth it. Especially with the old ninjas. I’ve noticed a bunch of sellers saying the same crap. “Only displayed adult collector away from daylight” “Opened once for a photoshoot” Etc etc They are ALL full of shyt. Seriously. Used is used for a reason. And let me tell you… if a figure was indeed opened ONCE for a photoshoot (mostly bs honestly), you can bet that one photoshoot put that figure through more hell than years of normal ownership. Seriously. They’re all liars.  them and just buy new. And even then look really hard for paint QC issues. Sellers do their best to hide them. I love you. |

Anyone ordering the NYCC Kung Lao? I’m passing, the bloody look doesn’t do much for me. I like the brown color scheme but I’ll hold off for an official MK3 release, rather than the MKII look with MK3 colors.

Also, it’s pretty stupid that we got Player 2 outfits for two characters and lame maskless Sub-Zero before we got even one female ninja. I love you. |

I can say I passed on the bloody versions after missing the first releases, though, because they only make sense if you have the regulars or just prefer a mid or end-of-match look (which I don't). The blood effects are a different story, though. Those are perfect for any figure. |

Found Mcfarlane sub zero vs shao kahn 2 pack. I don't need a 4th sub zero in this line, but I'll be damned if I'm letting logic and good spending habits keep me from those lemon wedge blades this one has lol.

I stopped by a Target on my way out of town and they had the McFarlane Kabal on clearance for 10 bucks. They had Lui Kang also, but he wasn't on clearance.
