I stopped by a Target on my way out of town and they had the McFarlane Kabal on clearance for 10 bucks. They had Lui Kang also, but he wasn't on clearance. That Kabal may be the beginning of the end of this line at retail. Mf isn't moving around here. But I figured as much, I've never played against anyone that uses Kabal. |

A standard Kabal would have done much better, I think. |

I used to use Kabal some in MK3 on SNES. This version was so different that he barely looks like Kabal to me. Cool figure, though. If I were collecting the line I'd have bought him.

I watched mortal kombat 2021 and I don't know if it was because of the pandemic or they couldn't get actors likenesses, but mcfarlane missed the boat on having movie figures. They could've made

Anybody have McFarlane series one Sub-Zero and Scorpion for trade? Also looking for Series 2 Raiden. All could be loose if complete (with or w/o stands) and in good condition! Have plenty to trade on my Classifieds page!

Great to finally see Liu Kang again, parts of the sculpt have clearly been redone since we last saw it, the head and torso are definetely all new, and both are a big improvement in my opinion. Presumably the torso articulation hasn't been added yet. Interestingly the new longer hair clearly marks this as MK3 Liu Kang, whereas the previous prototype had shorter hair so I'd assumed it was MK2, though in hindsight I should have noticed the boots on this figure have always been MK3 style.
Hopefully Johnny Cage and the ninja girls will reappear next, since they have also been missing-in-action for years since we saw prototypes.

The Liu Kang prototype looks much nicer this time around. The improvements really helped, I remember not being blown away by the earlier version but this one is great. I hope they still include the dragon with him.
The klassic MK11 Sub-Zero Looks great as well, that color blue is much better than the original version. Once I get this, it’ll become my MKII Kuai Liang version and I’ll make the original be my Bi-Han MK1 version.

Got my Kung Lao. Aside from the head sculpts not being too great, the figure is awesome. And I can forgive the faces since his most iconic pose has his hat obscuring practically his entire face.

I got my Kung Lao today. It's supposed to be a Christmas present so I'm not allowed to open it yet. The faces look horrible, but his hat will cover most of it so it's not too big of a deal.

I just watched Battle for the Realms this week. It was better than I expected. I don't see it happening, but I'd like a line of all the characters in the style of the animation.

Kinda disappointed with my Kung Lao's hat, the entire rim is angled upward slightly all the way around. It should be completely flat horizontally, like it is in the photos on the back of the box (and like it is on the effect hat). It looks like this basically:  I would guess it's the way it's packaged and they're all warped like that. But I hope I'm wrong. Anyone else care to comment? Thunder Chunky? Captain McKay? |

Mine isn't too horrible and isn't really noticeable. I think the front is intentionally designed that way so you can still see his face.

Mine has that issue a little bit, I just ran it under hot water and straightened it out. Looks fine now. But yeah, I think it’s down to how it was packaged, since I had the same issue with Baraka’s blades where I had to hit them with hot water and straighten them out too. |

My UMK3 Reptile is processing from Big Bad. Hopefully should be here in the next week or two. I'm looking forward, that UMK3 body isn't my favorite, but the colors look much nicer on this version than the original MK1/MKII Reptile.
