Are we ever going to get female fighters? MK toy lines have always neglected the female roster. We haven't got a Sonya since the 90's and we've been waiting years for Storms Mileena & Kitana.
In fact the McFarland Kitana is the first female MK character in over 20 years.

They are two of the most popular characters in the franchise. Could just be down to them changing things about the figure. Before the original Scorpion came out, the version they showed at cons looked very different than the one we ended up with. Same with the original prototype of Liu Kang vs the recent image we've seen. I'm hoping to see Kitana and Mileena up for order this year, they're very important characters on the roster and the MKII versions they showed looked great. Plus that'd mean Jade wouldn't be far behind. |

I'm wondering if they might just do a pallet swap like they did with Kung Lao, giving him basically his MK3 look with MK1 colors. Either way, Kano is a much needed addition and I'm glad he's coming. Liu Kang looks great, really amazing looking figure. Can't wait to see what he comes with (hopefully that dragon is still on the table). |

I think with Storm anything is possible really, since they have included large bonus items with some of their previous MK figures (e.g. Shao Kahn's throne, skeleton with Motaro) and obviously Liu Kang's dragon may still be coming. Plus some of their Golden Axe figures came with scale dragons! Though personally I'd prefer replica arcade machines be left to specialist companies like New Wave and Numskull. Storm should really concentrate on figures, particularly considering how slow their release schedule is.
I think some of these would work well as bonus items:
-Shadow Priest (with MK2 Shang Tsung?)
-Masked Guard (with MK1 Shang Tsung?)
-Shaolin Monk (with MK1 Liu Kang?)
-Shou statue from the MK2 Wasteland background
-Pillar with impaled corpse from MK1 The Pit
I wouldn't mind reduced articulation for bonus figures as long as the scale was correct and they were still well detailed

Similar to how Marvel Select used to come with the main figure and a bonus unarticulated figure that just adds to the presentation. |

 I was really excited about Storm’s 1/6 MK line… but something about Scorpion is off. I can’t quite place it. But it just doesn’t look right. Too skinny maybe? I don’t know. Plus, not a big fan of the MK 11 klassic look. I wish they had gone MK II or MK 9. Maybe the arms do look slim when facing straight on like that. I’m wondering if a more natural pose, or a martial arts stance would look better. The 1/12 figures have some strange, bulky proportions at times, but when they’re posed they look great so hopefully that translates to the 1/6 scale line too. |

Definitely behind getting the three characters you mentioned as well! I'd love to have a Jax, Mileena, Sonya, Kano, Sheeva, Fujin and Skarlet too. Finally found the McFarlane Joker and Kotal Kahn after searching through a sea of variant Spawn figures. Super late but they look like decent figures. |

Shang Tsung is a must have! I want a classic version from Storm from any of the first three games MK2 is my favorite game in the series so for most characters I want their MK2 look, the only exceptions are MK3 Jax, and MK1 Shang Tsung - I definetely want the old man version by far. Ideally packed with a Masked Guard. Not really bothered about other versions of Shang Tsung, though if they did a MK2 version packed with a Shadow Priest I would definetely buy multiples since they are really high on my wishlist. And if they did a flashback pre-MK1 Shang Tsung (from the MK1 mailaway comic) and packed it with The Great Kung Lao, that would get my money too. I'm really hoping Shang Tsung being a boss character would warrant Storm including a bonus figure, though I suppose they might go for his MK1 throne instead, which while certainly a cool idea would not be something I'd use personally. |

Shang is one of those characters where I would absolutely want an old man final boss version and a young version. I’m hoping with Liu Kang coming soon and Kano being announced, we’ll hear about Shang sooner than later. A bonus throne would be cool for an MK1 version, and I’d also love seeing translucent skulls for his projectiles. They have the skeletons already so it’d be easy. Hell, if they packed in a green “soul steal” skeleton like they did with Motaro, that’d be a highlight for me. |
