That's what I used to call it.
Remember the hand mold JAKKS used a lot? The one that just had the hand straight out, and not in a fist? I always hated that mold, and they used it on nearly every Jeff Hardy. It was just useless and unnecessary, especially for playing

I hated it. I hated it more than the "grab" hand with the bent fingers that looked ridiculous. Just give them fists for gods sake! Never understood them.

It was ok for Ric Flair to do the Four Horsemen symbol but that was about it.

It always seemed disproportionately huge.

Probably the only thing I dislike about No Way Out Matt Hardy.

LOL, at first I thought you guys were talking about these arthritic hands: I hated it. I hated it more than the "grab" hand with the bent fingers that looked ridiculous. Just give them fists for gods sake! Never understood them. How are figures supposed to hold weapons (steel chair for example) or titles without those open kung fu grip hands? They should be the default for wrestling figures IMO.

I love the claw hands used on Bossman, And Flaur and they can be seen all through my collection on guys like the Von Erich's, Muta, Killer Khan, Fuji, Kowalski, The Baron. Great hand mold.

If your talking about these on Jake its my favorite hand by far and I switch almost every wrestler to them for scale and functionality I mean how can you even hold anything without them and my least favorite is the closed fist especially on managers and Divas . I also dislike the Bit och slap open hand on managers and smaller wrestlers but I used them on proper Figures and scenes for Hogan but scale is kinda messed up when comparing a closed fist and a opened 5 finger hand .

I was referring to the claw hands that I believe the 3pack mascots Roberts used. I like the open hand for managers and for Hogan because it allows him to do his signature taunts

Perhaps bitch slap hand was more appropriate lol
The open handed one was what I was referring too.
Though, Flairs was terrible too.

They weren't useful for any pose or anything.

They weren't useful for any pose or anything. They were perfect for Hogan when he would get each side of the crowd going for noise you know .

Those are collar and elbow lock up hands! Very useful.

The only thing that annoyed me was when a figure had that hand along with a clenched fist hand, so it couldn't hold any kind of accessory such as a chair.
