Since Eddie Guerrero passed, hard to believe it's been that long since he was Lying, Cheating and Stealing every week on Smackdown
Rest in Peace Eddie.
Edit: Apologies, didn't see the thread in the Classic Wrestling Board.

3 from Eddie at his best from outside the WWE. He is missed most by those who understood just how good a worker he really was.

Wow. 9 years ago today I received a text from my friend that Chavo Guerrero passed.... Then, i looked to tgr Tv ( we have CNN on following Katrina aftermath) and saw at the bottom of the screen, the words scroll...." WWE wrestler Eddie Guererro found dead..." My heart sank. Such a sad day. I miss him to this day. RIP Eddie Gurerro.

I can't believe it's been 9 years already. Seems like yesterday.
RIP Eddie Guerrero, you'll be forever missed.

Such a damn shame. His glass ceiling was so damn high. Thankfully in the aftermath of his passing, the WWE has taken steps to make sure things like this don't happen anymore.

That's gone so fast. Such a shame. Eddie was a real legend of the business. A truly sad loss.

I've never been affected by a death as much as I was by Eddie's. I can't ing believe it's been almost a decade.

Time passes by so fast. I remember watching the Tribute to Eddie episode of Raw 9 years ago and being to shocked to even know what to think about Eddie dying.

I was in middle school. I remember people thinking it was fake. Wish it was.

I will never forget that day. I actually have a little bit of a ironic/creepy story.
I was 14 years old at the time and I was ADDICTED to collecting wrestling figures (something I no longer do). That day, my dad had taken me to a local KB Toy store and I immediately was in search for something to add to my collection. I quickly spotted an Adrenaline pack of Booker T and Eddie Guerrero. I distinctly remembering that I loved Eddie's figure but found Booker's to be a little bland. Still, I needed an RA-style Booker T and I loved the Eddie figure so my dad purchased it for me.
5 minutes late we came back home. I sat down at my computer, logged onto the internet...and was horrified at what I saw. I still remember the graphic that was posted on WWE.com. I was heartbroken and, till this day, I'm heartbroken that such a terrific individual was taken from us far too soon.

Man does time go by fast, Eddie's death by far was the one that hit me the most as far as wrestlers go. It's a shame it would have been interesting to see what else he could have accomplished. He is truly missed.

I was in middle school when he passed away before school I went on the computer and went to the WWE.com website and it flashed right on the screen I was shocked I didn't believe it was real because I thought it was all fake and just a storyline until raw came on.

Damn, I was 8 when this happened, and I still remember it. My dad broke the news to me, and I just started bawling. The following Raw was just so great, one of the most memorable episodes for me.

That was a quick ten years for sure.....also don't worry about there already being a thread in classics, he deserves one in each board IMO.
R.I.P. Eddie
