I'm really looking forward to seeing Elites in Canada! I find it hard to believe. The only Elites I have seen around these parts is the TRU Exclusive Triple H that still haunts me. lol I was happy when my TRU got rid of the Trips exclusives I was like "thank god they're gone!"... I go back in to TRU today and staring at me, taunting me a peg full of those ing Triple H figures. Between them and the BAF JR Punk's my TRU is useless.

P.S. Who likes my new signature? Its got Hollywood Hogan in it, so naturally I like it. =) I checked out Guildford Walmart about 45 minutes ago hoping to find some Elite figures and damn the shelves were bare. The only figure there was a Basic Ryback. One Basic friggin' Ryback. scottydub, have you spotted any Elite's in the Surrey area recently? I'm trying to track down E31 or E33.

Out of the Elite 34 set I can't wait for Paige, I also hope we get basic 50 soon since that series is gold I really need most of E34 and Zayn from B50! I really hope these 2 series doesn't get skipped because we sometimes skip Basic series and we are still not sure about the Elite distribution yet from Walmart. But if we somehow skip these, there is always a plan B ( Amazon) if worst comes to worst I can always try and score a deal on Ebay

Hey guys, random question, but are there usually any wrestling shows/events happening in the GTA the end of July/ early Aug? I'm thinking I could plan a trip back and see Kev Hart at the ACC. I'm guessing holding out for Expo will only yield about the same guests..

Like the sig. Still don't understand why we haven't had a single PPV of any kind up here since Unforgiven. Used to get one every 2 to 3 years at the minimum. Toronto's crowds are always passionate and Canada is a huge wrestling market that just gets the shaft.

I'm sure Smash Wrestling will have one in and around that time but nothing would be announced yet for that late into the summer.

it prob costs them a fortune to haul all that gear across the border maybe.. we got a house show here in NL every year from '88 til '97. They just left a ring here back in the 80's and used the light from the scoreboard. they came back with an updated setup in 2002-2004 but ran a show in oct 03 and it did well so they came back in jan 04 and nobody went because it was just too soon. Now with the screens rigging and the cost of everything in general i doubt they'll ever be back here Canada used to be their home away from home, but now they'd rather ship off half the roster for two weeks across the pond to the middle of nowhere and clean up..

If Canada get another Wrestlemania it should be in TORONTO!! Forget about Vancouver!!!

See in Toronto they bring a ring and set it up in Ricoh. I never go to house shows but my buddy went. It just doesn't make sense to me that hey wouldn't be willing to bring anything up here considering they have multiple house shows in Toronto and all across Canada. They used to have a major show like a PPV or a Raw in Toronto at least once a year. Now, our last Raw was in 2013 and I didn't even go. I was in a period where I stopped watching because Cena beat The Rock.

I have to agree. It's been way too long since we held a ppv here in Toronto. As for wrestlemania, as much as I want it to happen I don't see them bringing it to Toronto anytime soon. They seem to want these massive stadiums that hold 80 000 people. Next year in Dallas they are projected to fit over 100 000 people In that arena. I think the skydome could hold about 70 000 so I guess its not out of the question. You also have to factor in how weak the Canadian dollar is at this time. Have to wait and see I guess.

It can hold around 65 000 people jam packed with no room to breathe. But can I just say that I am pretty sure I know the reason that Vince McScam doesn't want to bring Wrestlemania to Canada in general. It's because he is trying to set the attendance record in all of the big stadiums before the Super Bowl gets there. That just proves how out of touch he is. In his pathetic attempt to make the WWE feel mainstream (which it isn't in any way) he has to try to compete with the NFL!! Are you serious? Wrestlemania 30 had around a Million people watch. The Super Bowl had around 130 million. So can the guy please just retire and bring something back to Canada.

Also, the WWE is worth the amount of money of about 1 NFL team.

I was at Walmart last night too. That toy section was decimated. Kinda sad. Haven't seen any new elites out my way. They did have some DM Hogans at the Walmart in South Surrey (24th Ave), but that's all I've seen. Thinking of going hunting today...but not sure if I'll head West (Surrey) or East (Abby). @hollywoodnorth...you scoped out any other Surrey locations (Target or TRU)?

I also agree that it's been to long since Toronto has had a PPV, next year it's going to be a decade. I know that the ACC is expensive to run but it's not like Madison Square Garden expensive so that why the run house shows at Ricoh and as much as I want to go to Wrestlemania I kinda don't wanna go to it at the Rogers Centre since I prefer going to it in the states
