Covered it already lol A lot of whats been said by WWE/news sites is crap. If they had listened to the interviews the company rep did it shoots down all of WWEs "concerns" and the interviews were done before any of this came to pass.

How far out are these from hitting shelves?

I guess I could see why wwe is upset about them releasing the steen figure but let's be honest when mattel puts out a Kevin Owens figure, it will outsell the ROH figure by the thousands. Not to bash the new ROH line, I'm actually looking forward to it. I plan on purchasing some of the figs. But the reality is that these will cater to older adult collectors. Where as Mattel targets adult and kids. In the end WWE wins anyways. I think they are probably mad about ROH puting out the figure around the same time he's getting a push on TV.

WWE can't have it both ways...if they're 'sports entertainment' they shouldn't be concerned about a 'wrestling' promotion trying to make some money...

Yes,because of legal rights, which sucks.A Cm punk From His ROH days would be cool IMO because it has only been done as a custom. Seems like you only want guys that have gone on to wwe stardom. Just buy their wwe figures. But, if I were you I'd buy every single one of these figs because you never know which will be the next wwe star. Then you'll be saying, " I wish they made an Adam cole in his roh gear" when in fact you'll have already passed on your chance to buy one. I want El Generico,Tyler Black,Etc. because these are the guys that made me aware that ROH existed and these are the people that made me want to see ROH shows and that is why I want their figures to be made.I understand these are not the guys to start the line with I'm just saying they eventually need to be made in the line.

They're not being made. Period. Listen to or read any interview with the rep. Unless these guys wind up back in ROH its not going to happen.

Wrestling Observer Live had Chris from the company on last night.
He shut down (again) anyone thinking they were going after WWE guys that were in ROH and verified that the Steen figure got approved when they agreed on the license
All lineups including this one get OK'd by ROH and he has discussion with them on who should go into each series
He said they will launch the indy line with a dozen names which means we should have 7 more announcements and he said there will be more legend announcements
They asked what if WWE tried to buy out the Steen figure he said thats not even up for discussion
He said its a mix of him going after indy guys and indy guys contacting him to be in the line
Not too much new news but it was a good interview to put an end to some of the rumors out there.

All of these interviews are starting to sound the same. Where's the new content? Maybe another name or two that signed. I'd like to hear who is on their radar.

Information is gonna have to stop at some point let them focus on production

There is a guy trying to raise money for Axl Rotten so I pointed him the way of FTC They may not be interested in him. Unless it looked really amazing, I could easy live without an axl fig. If they made him, I hope they would do for him and new jack a bloody variant like they did their original legends figures.

They said a dozen indy guys: Young Bucks, Joey, Cliff and Myers make 5
The most obvious wants that have been hinted at least on their media have been Chris Hero and Ricochet, but who knows. Those guys seem to be doing the same things like Ryan, Myers etc. with the retweets and stuff
They mentioned last week "a popular star and some of his friends" in a tweet. I'm wondering if they got an LU guys along with Ricochet, or Bullet Club guys. Though my guess is LU owns all their characters.

I think they should do an online poll to gage interest in specific guys for the legends and Indy line. If there is overwhelming interest in a particular guy they might want to offer him more money or produce larger quantities of that figure. As to not get anyone's hopes up, I'd limit the poll to guys with whom they've established contact and have had the interest reciprocated.
For example, the announcement of Mikey whipwreck got a mixed reception. Had they polled the consumers, they'd have known that there is only limited interest in him.

They've already said they're not going to do special deals though (when the greedy Cabana deal happened) so I don't see them offering anyone more money. that would piss off anyone already in the line. Whatever the deal is, its a universal offer They have taken to Twitter etc. but remember what has been said before just because we want a figure made, that person might not want a figure, or might not consider the offer (like Cabana) If they get guys like Hero, Gargano, Ricochet, Candice, etc those are top choices for all the collectors I know I'd get all of them If they got anyone in the Bullet Club its awesome because its the most popular stable right now If they got Lucha Underground we could get some amazing characters They've been very interactive but remember usually if someone like Mattel or JAKKS does a poll its based on what they already have signed or in production. The company seems to be taking suggestions for people to pursue doesn't necessarily mean a deal can be worked out. I still think we'll get some good names.

The company seems to be taking suggestions for people to pursue doesn't necessarily mean a deal can be worked out. I still think we'll get some good names. I get what you're saying. What I'm suggesting is that they touch base with as many wrestlers as possible to find out if they'd be interested in the deal per the consumers suggestions, and then find out from the consumers, which of those guys the people actually buying the figures would be most interested in by way of an Internet poll. There are way more wrestlers out there than they can afford to sign so they shouldn't be doing so blindly. There are certain guys that are no brainers (hero, bullet club, etc) but then there are guys that it would be a costly mistake to sign. Mikey probably falls into that category as compared to other guys they probably could have signed. Also, there's no way I believe that they wouldn't offer the likes of a Goldberg more money than new jack. And it would be completely justified as more people would buy a Goldberg figure than a new jack. Again, a poll could be quite telling in this regard.

Axl Rotten excites me. I owned all of the OSFM figures from the late 90's/00's line. Hopefully a Chris Candido could be made along with Franchise so we can their faction with Bam Bam. Also, I'd like to see Satrun and Kronus.

And it would be completely justified as more people would buy a Goldberg figure than a new jack. Again, a poll could be quite telling in this regard. I understand the way you are looking at it but a guy like Goldberg, who has had multiple figures, wouldn't be contacted based on what the company has said. A guy like Goldberg or Steve Austin etc. aren't what they're interested in since those guys have been done a million times. That's like if John Cena magically walked away from WWE, no way should the company pursue him because look how many Cena figures exist. They want to get guys that haven't been done very much or at all. Goldberg already had a few RA figures in addition to his WCW figs I'm not saying we can't get big names, but if that happens I hope it's a good variety. Say they get Lucha Underground guys or work out deals however they do it and we get Alberto. I'm fine with that because there are no Alberto RA figures. If they got Mysterio, to me its pointless because there are a ton of Mysterio figures from that style From what Chris said in his interview they have a contact list ready for when they pursue the next series and he is in touch with a lot of people. Word of mouth is huge on this too even before the Steen stuff because of the close circles on the indy scene. Its not like the Young Bucks would keep their deal a secret. Its probably common knowledge by this point and it might be a good enough deal to lure some names we might not be thinking of Getting a guy like Goldberg and making an exception is kind of like when WWF didn't want to bring in all the WCW big names at once because they had guaranteed contracts. You don't want to make a big money exception and risk ruining a relationship with your existing talent. They said Myers has put in a good word with a lot of people for them. Imagine how he'd feel if someone came on board and got 5 times what he got.
