I'm worried the cloth might look odd...I was thinking..what if they went with molded on rubber, like Jakks did with the Colin delany figure? This way you can pull the straps down, be different and still keep the tight look of a singlet that you won't get with cloth

Rubber wouldn't be a bad shout but I'd imagine it would hold its position too well when removed and look awkward and not rest the same way material would. It may sound stupid but something like Lycra could really work as it would be tight and mimick the actual material well. I agree with others that cloth works well for other items but I'm not keen with the traditional ring wear being made that way

All of Jakks cloth material has held up well to today. Every Mattel shirt I have from Elite series 1 has either rolled around the waist or stretched out.
We need cloth.
RA's were $8.99-$9.99 when they first came out. With $12.99-$16.99 Classic Series through out their run.
At $20-$22 a figure, we need Cloth goods to make up for Value. I understand the mark up is there to make up for a small market. But, I see these figurea skyrocketing in popularity at atound series 2/3. With ROH on TV, and the right advertisment, these have the ability to make it to retail.

I do not mind the clothing on the figures, like I said it just adds more uniqueness to them them the average figures IMO I'm just glad we are getting them. Awesome news about Kenny Omega!

The cloth gear is what is going to make Steen such a great figure. Briscoes too. But someone like Cole, other than an accessory of a t-shirt, should just have painted gear.

Dead excited about Omega but isn't he working exclusively for NJPW? If so there must be an agreement in place there which could see us get the likes of Tanahashi, Okada and Nakamura... Id imagine he couldn't be released with Bullet Club gear as that'd be trademarked

He has still done Canadian indies and PWG. In Japan he's exclusive to NJPW but he's able to take US bookings. He lives in Japan though so that's why he seems more New Japan and less indy, since it costs ao much to bring him to US.

I think that if they had New Japan deal at this time they'd do a New Japan line or maybe do some of them in the ROH line.
They did hint previously that they had gotten a top star "and some of his friends" so I wonder if this is related to that and more Bullet Club is coming.

I think something unique personally that I would be able to get behind if they did take the root of cloth trunks, what if they would package more than just one pair of trunks per figure? The main reason we had re-paints in the WWE RA line was because of course they had to paint attires, with cloth they can package more than just one attire per figure. Though I am curious as to how it would be both from a display perspective and a play perspective. Regardless i'm excited for the Indy Line, not so much the Legend line. However new figures are new figures and i'm all about alternatives.

trunks and tights are not going to be cloth. they'll be just like any other Jakks figure was with detailed paint apps.

Kenny Omega was a HUGE announcement! This line has the potential to be great. Already we have The Briscoes, Adam Cole, Kevin Steen, Young Bucks, New Jack, and Jim Cornette....and now, Omega. Very happy with the where this line is going. Give us a Jushin Thunder Liger and The Colony and this line will be EPIC.

I really did not expect Omega. Very excited for this figure.
Hopeful we might still get a Chris Hero. Wonder if Ricochet is doable because of LU. Looks like Johnny Gargano and probably Candice won't be made since Gargano wrestled NXT last night.
