All I can say, @ftchris, is any CHIKARA guys you can sign, I will buy. So many of their characters would like GREAT on a shelf.

That said, HI! Chris from FTC here. I'm not sure how in depth coverage has gotten in these 63 pages, but I'm the CMO at FTC and handle our media presence, both on our own pages and elsewhere. I'm here simply to bring you OFFICIAL news and updates, get the bullet points of what's been revealed out of the way, and hopefully engage in some good discussion with the collectors here. If it's cool with the mod team, I'd like to start a new thread where it can be stickied and the first post can be edited and updated by me as information gets out and production progresses. That way it's a one stop shop for everything that there is to say about our Ring of Honor figures, as well as the new Rising Stars and Legends lines. Hope to talk to you all soon! @ftchris is A ROH Punk Possible? I've mentioned this before. There's no interest in doing Punk. Nothing personal as he's a tremendous star, but there are 75 Punk figures out there already. Doing something like that instead of a Bobby Fish or a Delirious takes away from the goal of the line: introduce as many new characters to the figure market as possible. |

the goal of the line: introduce as many new characters to the figure market as possible. It is a great strategy to use for both the ROH/indy lines and the legends line. Jakks RA line was and is still the most comprehensive wrestling figure style ever done, and allowing collectors to build on their existing RA collections (instead of constantly "starting again" in new styles) really is a breath of fresh air. That's not to say there aren't a few classic stars Jakks made that I wouldn't like a different version of or a better headscan, but classic stars that were NEVER made in RA/CS make up the vast, vast majority of my wishlist. @ftchris could I ask, we've seen a lot of ECW names announced for the Legends line (which are certainly deserving) but I wondered can you guys also try and sign more classic WCW/NWO era talent for future waves? Guys like Disco Inferno, Alex Wright, Chris Kanyon, Ernest Miller, La Parka, Konnan, Vampiro, etc... I could list hundreds. |

I would love to see Chikara Colony made. Also Devastation Corporation (with manager) Besides Chikara, I know in an interview you mentioned Lucha Underground. Lucha Underground has the best characters in wrestling by far. Price Puma, Drago, Brian Cage, Pentagon Jr, Mil Muertes, Alberto El Patron, Johnny Mundo, Sexy Star, Vampiro, Dario Cueto, Jack Evans, Son Of Havok, Anjelico. Best wrestling on TV right now IMO.

With the Indy line, would love to see Bryan Myers tag team partner formerly from WWE and PWS Tyler Rekks ( AKA Gabe Tuft) Wes Brisco, Jesse Sorenson, Dan Maff, Fallah Bahh, PJ Black, El Ligero, and Jax Dane.

 I'm not a big Elgin fan so I'm kinda meh on it. The cloth accessories are great. The head is huge. And the body is very generic. |

Elgin isn't one of the figures I was most excited for but he looks great. I was also a ney-sayer of the cloth clothing but I love it, it adds so much to the figure and appears to be a great fit. Chris when do you think we'll see the completed figures for the first ROH wave as was a surprise to me we saw Elgin before the others

Elgin is a surprise, but you'll understand why in due time (no, he is not replacing Steen, Steen is still coming).
The other stars have a bit more detailing with tattoos, etc. That's why Elgin showed up first. It was also a good surprise given the public knowledge of our Series 1 lineup.

I think the Elgin looks great. The singlet and vest are great. I absolutely hate the sh*t out of Elgin though. Not a fan, never will be. So unfortunately that's a hard pass for me. Not because I don't like the figure though. Great to see pics.

While I can't stand Elgin, his figure looks nice, aside from the oversized head. I'm guessing he comes with the ring.
