Wait, so is Elgin going to be in wave 1 or does he come with the ring? If he's in wave 1, is there going to be 5 figures total or should we expect another one for a total of 6? I think the Elgin looks great. The singlet and vest are great. I absolutely hate the sh*t out of Elgin though. Not a fan, never will be. So unfortunately that's a hard pass for me. Not because I don't like the figure though. Great to see pics. Elgin is not in Wave 1. There will be some additional news to follow this. Wave 1 are still the original four. If he's coming with the ring you may as well just spill the beans. Everyone is assuming he's coming with the ring so if you can just shoot down that rumor, it would go a long way. Figure looks great and easily worth the price of an elite. Elgin was not a guy a worried would get screwed up. The parts needed to make him are some of the most common. Head does look a little big though.

@ftchris I am very impressed with the overall look of the Elgin figure, the cloth jacket looks particularly nice quality.
BUT... the head is oversized. And please don't try to tell me it isn't. I know RA figures like the back of my hand, I have hundreds of them in display in my house. Judging the head size against the body WITHOUT the cloth accessories, it is most definetely too big.
You need to address this issue NOW, before the problem becomes common in the lines. Please don't go down the Jakks road of not noticing or caring when heads are too big.
Just fix the head sizes and these will be great.

Chris, I know you are limited in what you can say, but could you let us know if the ROH ring is an all new mold by you guys or an existing ring previously used by Jakks? Thanks and Elgin totally blew my mind!

I'm not a big Elgin fan so I'm kinda meh on it. The cloth accessories are great. The head is huge. And the body is very generic.Yeah, i was expecting the Torso that they used for the Million Dollar Man Clasic superstar. That would have worked better for Elgin.

I'm all for a ROH Real scalr Ring!!! Maybe Elgin will come with the classic painted ROH Workd Title.... Or a 1/500 Metal Title? Any chance of a return of 1/500's?

Hey FTChris, I'm so glad that FTC & RSC finally came to an agreement where the WFigs community can actually talk openly about the ROH/Indy lines. It's also super cool that you're being as open as you are about the line and you're answering questions.
Can you explain why you guys decided to go with RA molds? And not DA molds or creating your own new ones?
My favorite lines have been Mattel's Elite & Marvel's TNA line because of the articulation they offer. When I set my figures up, I want to be able to set them up in complicated poses. I've never cared for JAKKS RA molds because they're not in scale, they're very limited in what poses you can set up and by the end of the TNA line, JAKKS phoned in lines of repaints. I don't like the idea that in the future a ROH line will have Dalton Castle, Dijack & ACH all being the same size.
The Elgin figure looks very good for a RA figure. The cloth accessories are really cool, it shows that you guys want to make quality figures for your customers. But, the head is too big and I hope that doesn't continue with the rest of the line because any ROH/Indy figs I buy, will ultimately be just so I can swap the head onto an Elite body.
I don't understand why people like RA, but to each their own. I'm happy that so many ppl here are excited to buy the ROH line. I'm let down because now that I've seen what the finished product is. I most likely won't be purchasing any since they won't fit into my current collection. And that really sucks since the Indy line will produce guys that I've wanted for years but won't buy because they dont fit my need.
I hope down the line you guys try new bodies that offer more articulation, and have some kind of scale. I'm not looking for Elite bodies, but something similar would be amazing.
Any chance you guys will make some kind of ROH entrance stage or a Build-an-entrance stage? offering options so we can all have unique setups?
FTChris, I don't mean to be so negative. Its great that ROH has a line, it's great that there's an Indy line on it's way. And it's great that I see how excited other people here are for the FTC lines.

Has there been a price point announced? Im curious if they're going with generic bodies and cloth accessories what kinda budget they have. I couldnt imagine very many people wanting to drop $20-$25 on a out of scale figure of a guy they've never heard of.

That looks more like Bobby Roode than Elgin.

the singlet and jacket are the only things i like. Don't see elgin in the head at all.
then again...i don't like Jakks figures in the first place...especially the basic ones. So my opinion is pretty biased.
