I don't think Cena actually is. I was always under the impression the US title didn't count, yet the Smackdown tag titles and World Heavyweight championship did after being introduced after the brand split. He'll also never be a grand slam champion as both traditional "tertiary" titles are retired (Hardcore and European). I thought Miz was a Grand Slam champion because of the US title? I don't think WWE would take the title of Grand Slam champion away because of the US title. I don't know. I always thought he was Triple Crown. Also, I figured the US would be the "lower" or "tertiary" title, and the IC, like always, would be the upper mid card title. I'm not 100% sure bud, just what I was under the impression of. The way I look at it, the Intercontinental was is above the US, but in the eyes of the WWE anything could be right. As of the past few years they both seem below the European title aha, but atleast they seem to be making more of an effort now. |

I think it would actually do Cena the world of good to win the US Championship. The older fans would actually get on board, and I'd feel that I'd be able to actually enjoy it. It would be refreshing, and I would rather Cena than Rusev, as long as it happens at Wrestlemania.

But for some reason, I just don't see Cena beating Rusev. The WWE keeps wanting to make Rusev win in most of his matches. If Cena does win at Fast Lane, it would probably be through a disqualification, so no title for Cena either way. I wonder what they have planned for Cena at Wrestlemania.....
And no, if Cena wins the title, they won't bring back the US Spinner.. With the exception of the IC title, I highly doubt the WWE is going back to a past belt design. Seriously, some of us have to move on from the past. That US Spinner is long gone with the kayfabe story back then that the belt was destroyed by JBL and that was the last we saw of it. Seeing it resurrected all of a sudden wouldn't make sense.

Whoa!! This coming from the guy who honestly believes the NXT Championship Title Belt is the most prestigious Championship today. HAHA!! The chances of the United States Spinner Belt coming back are higher than the NXT Championship Title Belt making its second appearance outside of the WWE Network. I won't let the past go when the present is as good as the NXT Belt design...not good.

It will help the United States Championship. The Face of the WWE holding a mid-card Belt can only elevate the mid-card Belt and the mid-card division.
As for the minor league Belt, it's ugly. It's a lazy design with no thought put into it. It's the exact opposite of the WWE itself. WWE has great looking, well thought out Championship Title Belts, but bad stories. NXT has interesting stories, but their main Championship looks like it was design by the WWE writing team.

I'm not a huge fan of the NXT Title design but I prefer it to the WWE Titles that we've had for the past ten or so years. I also like the NXT Tag Titles more the WWE Tag Titles (though neither is that good) and the NXT Women's Title blows the Divas Title out of the water. |

I actually like the NXT Tag Team Championship Title Belts and wish they would sell both version of it. Together they look good, but with only one version out there in replica form, not so much. It's kind of like the twins.
The NXT Women's Championship Title is better than the WWE Divas Championship Title Belt, but that's not saying much.

WWE does not need five championships, especially when two do the same thing.
Have Cena win the belt and unify it with Ziggler (IC champ) with Ziggler going over. Finally Ziggler gets the rub, the two mid-card titles will mean something again and at the end everyone will look at the IC championship differently.
I don't understand why we have so many belts. Especially when it's the same handful people fighting for them.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship
WWE Intercontinental Championship
WWE Divas' Championship
WWE World Tag Team Championship
Why complicate it?

i highly doubt that he will win the US title again but if he did it would be funny since it would be a full circle for his career since the US Title was the 1st belt he won
