While Rikishi didn't have numerous championships he did have a fairly remarkable career. Not too many guys stick with the WWE for more than a decade and he did everything they asked of him.
Sure Rikishi is his most memorial gimmick. I sometimes wish the WWE Would induct the individual instead of the "Character" case in point Scott Hall - Hall had a hell of a career that was cut short by his personal demons - meanwhile Razor Ramon was solid midcarder who had a fairly short run in the WWE.

This is one inductee that just bugs me. I watched his Hall of Fame video from Raw and I just kept shaking my head and saying to myself, "why?". And, on top of that, they kept showing his fat, disgusting ass. That was awful. Made me want to puke.
You couldn't pay me enough money to have that fat fu*k grind his huge gross ass in my face. Not a chance. This years Hall of Fame was off to a good start with Macho Man and Arnold and this fat guy has to come around and tarnish the whole damn thing.
There are so many others they could've gone with like Honky Tonk Man, Kamala, King Kong Bundy, Jim Neidhart, Rick Martel, Haku, Vader, Bam Bam Bigelow, Adrian Adonis, Brian Pillman, Chris Jericho, Sycho Sid, Lex Luger, and on and on.
So many other and better choices than this friggin guy. What a horrible choice.

I'm happy for Rikishi and I think it was a good choice - as he no doubt had a HOF career in my opinion - my problem, though, is that they didnt mention his days as Fatu and that kinda pissed me off. The HOF video was kind of a joke. Should have taken a bit more of a serious tone talking about his roots and him coming up as Fatu the SST, then the Headshrinker, then Sultan and then Rikishi. All his gimmicks should have been mentioned. ARGH

Without Too Cool there is no Rikishi. They should've been inducted as a trio.

Well deserved, I don't think some people realise just how over he was befor the whole "I did it for the rock" things happened. He had a long career in the wwe and to be honest I would, say he is more deserving than some of the other people they have in nether

I think he deserves the Hall of Fame, not just for the Rikishi character, but overall. He had a great career as a tag team wrestler under the Samoan Swat Team and Headshrinkers. I honestly would have waited a little longer to induct him IMO, but he should get in.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Rikishi being in the hall. He was a fairly major star, he was popular and he was talented.

What the hell has he done to be HOF worthy though?
I can list about 100 other guys who were fairly major stars, popular and talented but that doesn't mean they should go into the HOF.
I can list about a dozen other guys who had 10+ year careers in WWE but that doesn't mean they should go into the HOF.
What makes Rikishi so special? I don't get it.

I was okay with it when I thought they would acknowledge his time in the Headshrinkers and his previous gimmicks. Not crazy that they left out his entire pre-Rikishi career.

There are worse choices in the HOF. Until they have a physical location, I could not care less about who's inducted or not. It means absolutely nothing to me.

They should just get it over with now and induct the entire island of Samoa.

how bout they make an 8-pack bundle in one induction for 90's midcarders and jobbers? they could all give a quick 5 minute time limit speech in unison.

I'm a big fan of his, and I do think he deserves it. Can't have all the huge names go in at once. Although I expect a couple more big names this year. So far it's really just Savage and he sadly won't be there to accept.
It's not like they are inducting Hornswoggle. Rikishi had a very solid career.

With Rikishi going in, I guess this opens the door to other mid level guys like Test, Lance Storm, Val Venis, Bob Holly, Tommy Dreamer, and The Godfather to name a few. Some of those guys held just as many titles, if not more, than Rikishi. So, wouldn't that make them just as deserving as he is?
