Here it is! The next week of WFW action is here. Recap from Nitro last week - Superstars drawn into tiers on the card - Van Dam defeated Mysterio thanks to his wife - Khali took out Big E and defeated Goldust - CM Punk proclaimed how unhappy he was with the current state of WFW - Brock Lesnar, thanks to The Rock defeated Batista to put himself in a title position. worldfigurewrestling.proboards.com/thread/10/wfw-nitro-episode-2Just wanted to quickly say thank you to everyone for making Nitro #1 so successful. I have listened about match pacing, hopefully #3 will include crowd printouts, the ASR is still coming along too. Enjoy!

I liked it, I just cant get into Daniel Bryan beating up a guy the size of Hulk Hogan though. I enjoyed the pacing more this time around, and I also thought the Mankind squash was a little overdone, you could of drawn that match out I understand you wanted a dominant performance but Mankind wasn't a jobber. The lighting got a little dark in some parts, and you really need to focus a bit more on your posing and transition shots between moves. But I think that will all come together and I also look forward to your printouts I think that will help the all white is a little too stark for a background, but I do think you have one heck of an entranceway! Good show and big congrats for getting show #2 out, just need more practice with your poses and that's really about all the stuff you need to work on. All in all a really nice show!
First reply whooo!!!!

Not a bad showing there from you at all, tons and tons of potential man.
Arena is nice and clean and you made an effort to cover the vhs tapes so that's a plus. Try string loses, you'd be surprised how little you need to edit them, it at all due to your background.
Try transition pictures some of your sequences were awkward. Punk pushing edge I to the corner post and the f-5
You didn't have many stiff poses but the ones you did just bend the joints a little more. I love your Steve, great use of an old set. Live on the pose board. Most sequences on there get feedback and you will improve! I promise you that. The power bomb pose at the end was a little screwy.
Very enjoyable show and with a little polishing this will be an elite fed on his board

I just started to see. When the show starts with Hogan, I've stopped, came here, clicked on "like" and return to see the rest of the show. CM Punk in the ring with 2 Edges were amazing! I like to see you using Great Khali in the shows. The finish with The Rock against Daniel Bryan was the perfect ending for your event! Congratulations!

Looking forward to episode 3!

I knew it Bryan was going to stab Hogan in the back. Should be interesting where that goes.
Cm Punk Vs. Edge good match with nice flow and pace to it. And Punk winning was nice to continue the feud. Can't wait for Edge to get his revenge on Punk.
RVD Vs. Rey Mysterio is very nice feud here. Interesting to see their wifes get into the mix. Can't wait for the match next episode.
Rock Vs. Bryan not the greatest match it was good. I like Lesnar as body guard for Rock. Just bland match. Looks like Bryan got played.
Lesnar against Rock and HHH as champ.
Overall it was nice little episode. Not the greatest i've seen. But it's step up. Maybe work on the poses a little and have longer match's. 7/10 Can't wait for more improving.

Another great show man! The angle with Bryan/Hogan was interesting, not too sure about the whole RVD/Mysterio thing, but we'll see how that plays out. HHH being champion is interesting, hope it's Lesnar who faces him for the belt!

Getting around to watching this...hoping to see some improvement. New entrance stage is great. Daniel Bryan turning heel and attacking Hogan? It was a well executed segment, but I really don't think Bryan vs Hogan could be good at all. I'm eager to see you prove me wrong. Edge vs Punk didn't have too many bad poses, but the pacing was really off. Here's RVD. This wife angle is rather odd, but eh. The segment was alright. RVD vs Rey is an obviously good matchup, but I don't really know why you'd toss their wives into the mix. First show I found it funny, now it's just odd. Mankind vs Big E? Eh? And he squashes Mankind. I highly dislike this decision. Big E's getting the monster push, that's all good, but don't have him squash a high tier wrestler like Mick. Him squashing a midcarder woulda been a lot better. And now a segment to advance the wife plot. Bryan vs Rock was okay, and the screwy finish made sense.
So what were my thoughts on this show? Incredibly rushed....even for a weekly format show. Mankind vs Big E was horrid booking wise, especially if you plan on utilizing Foley as a higher profile performer in the future. Edge vs Punk felt more like a brawl then a match. Bryan vs Rock was MOTN, with a screwy finish that made some sense, until HHH came out with the belt.
Story-wise, I really don't know how to put this. Bryan basically turning heel by assaulting a legend....a match that could be good depending on how you depict Hogan. Edge wanting to shut Punk up, which is interesting enough. The wife angle, which is creative, but not particularly good so far. Big E vs Khalli, which is alright I guess, tho I'd prefer Khali just be another victim of Big E. And the Brock-Rock alliance. There's plenty of coherent story development here, but none of it really interests me, none of it really makes me say "I wonder what's gonna happen next show", which is obviously the feeling that HHH coming out with belt was going for, but it had me shaking my head rather then "huh i wonder why". The booking makes sense, but nothing you've done so far really stands out to me.
Presentation wise, largely the same as the first show, but I like the new ramp.
Posing wise, not the most amazing but not bad.
Simply put, so far, your fed isn't really great to me. It's not terrible, but as it is, the word that would describe it most to me is "okay". Until your first PPV, I won't have a definitive opinion on your fed, so I hope some time between now and then it gets less rushed, and a little more compelling storywise.
TBH, not as good as your first show.
6/10

I disagree with the Mankind thing because he's in the division and he was Big E's opponent, it's about having two absolute monsters come at each other. Definitely feel like you should PM me here about this one, just want to see more of your opinion on the 'compelling' storylines. Thanks for being honest man, appreciate it. Definitely looking to improve everywhere so thanks!

Because right now the storylines are in their infancy, and my judging of them was based off of the development in the first two shows. I'm only judging them based off of what I'm seeing at the moment, and if I still have a problem by time your first ppv, then that means there might actually be something wrong with them and not me judging stories that haven't even had time to fully develop yet.

I understand though in waiting to see how they develop. Thanks again for being honest man.

-Arena could do with a bit more black card, but the entrance is cool -Didn't like the way Bryan dispatched of Hogan. Would have been more believable had he used a chair or other foreign object, plus it would have been a more heel type action -I do like that you're making Bryan a heel though -Thought Punk could have used the mic that Hogan used in the opening segment. Seemed strange unless he was just chatting at the camera on his way down -Punk/Edge was steady. After a GTS, there wasn't really a need for Punk to use the ropes. I get that it's a heel tactic, but maybe after a basic impact move it would've been good, e.g. a Suplex -RVD/Rey segment was cool. A like the way you're going with their wives getting involved -Really didn't like what Big E did to Mankind, unless you're going to take it further with Mankind where he's a washed-up hasbeen and feuds with someone that way. Otherwise, it's just like he's a jobber -Saying that, I like the look of Big E/Khali -Will be interested to see if Punk has any involvement in the tag match -RVD/Maria could've been done in a different place, rather than the same spot where Bischoff had been speaking to Rey seconds before -And now Rock/Brock are there too -A Heel/Heel is interesting as the main event. RVD/Punk will be heel/heel too. You need more faces! -Nice swerve at the end, and it'll be good to see Rock/Brock clash
A steady show. I think some of your storylines need to play out a bit more first. It seems that you're jam packed with main eventers, which you need to manage carefully. More midcarders and lower card wrestlers would be good. I like that every match and segment has a purpose though, as it really helps push things on.

It's hard because I think the whole mid carder thing applies to WWE runs. This isn't WWE, so for example if I had Macho Man, whilst he was a main eventer in WWE, I don't think he would be in my fed. Big names, sure. Definitely working on backstage sections and there's a big chance #3 has the ASR. I thought the pics were clear and the over all arena was a big improvement. You have some good feuds going on and the ending was really good. I think your backstage segments need a little oomph to them. Same thing with commentary and character development. Alot of the show just felt very canned and that's not meant to be offensive. As I said I like the feuds but there doesnt seem to be much depth to the characters outside of what we already know of them...like I know who Bryan, Hogan, Punk, Edge are, but what makes them different in your particular fed. I guess that's what I was missing. Could be just me, but I'll definately be checking back to see the next show and how you've progressed. You've got a nice fed going here, Keep up the great work:)

Wasn't what I expected, Bryan coming out to beat up Hogan - not sure he'd have been able to lift Hogan with quite as much ease, but I like the whole idea behind it.
Punk vs Edge was well done, for the most part. One of your poses, the belly-to-belly, looked like Punk had straight up mirdered Edge. Would have been nice to see you use some string there.
Was a bit iffy on the RVD promo - didn't feel so much like it was something he'd say, more a generic. I thought the whole jam with Mysterio's wife was a bit ehh too.
Big E certainly looked dominant, but Mankind looked totally worthless. I'm not sure if E is just getting booked as an absolute monster, or if you're simply using Mankind as a jobber, but it seems confusing to the casual viewer - Id assume - to see a name like Mankind beaten so easily.
Rock promo was great, you were definitely able to make it sound like a Rock promo.
Is this a heel vs heel main event? Interested to see what you do with it. Interesting to see HHH brought back by Bischoff - and im interested to see whether you write Trips as a face, because otherwise I think you could end up with too many main event heels.

Big E is definitely a monster. Always been a huge Rock fan, so appreciate that one. Triple H - I'm still writing for him at the moment, not sure exactly where I'm going with that one. Thanks for checking it out!

I just watched Episode #2 of WFW Nitro. There have been some noticeable minor tweaks to the show which i liked, you've already mentioned that crowd printouts and backgrounds are going to be used in future episodes so i have removed this 'issue' from the dislikes. Overall there are more pros to cons in watching WFW so here is what i thought: Likes:
- Arena and Entrance stage is excellent. Really looks great. I would suggest as the opening show image you do a close up of the stage and pan out to the crowd and then broadcast team as a show intro this would make it look great. Possibly add in the location of where your events are being held?
- Posing has improved, i liked particularly the Rock's opening hand before striking Daniel Bryan.
- Great Power bomb by Lesnar on D-Bry through the table.
- Great use of Eric Bischoff while Flair was absent.
- Good solid ending to the show a real swerve curve ball at the end with the Game being given his title and continuing his Championship Reign.
Dislikes:
This is more a spottable potential error in the scripting rather than an out and out dislike? When D-Bry attacks Hulk Hogan, Jerry 'the king' lawler says "It's a historical moment in 8years of WFW, and it's been ruined by Hogan" (I think this is meant to say Bryan because Bryan attacked Hogan? lol Matches between Edge vs CM Punk and Big E vs ManKind were too short IMO. Edge had maybe one or two shots before Punk hit GTS for a 3 count? I'm sure this would of made an upper mid-card event but Edge looked like he was jobbing? Even worse for Mankind, got a build up only to be jobbing to Big E? I mean Mankind was known to take a tremendous amount of punishment in his day but here he looked like joe 'random' jobber off the street in a squash match? Summary
Technically because the first dislike is more a proof read/error it's not so much a dislike, my only real issue would be those two matches were short and could of had more quality wrestling especially when referring to superstars Mankind + Edge! :-) I really like what you've done in the two shows you've put out, i would suggest next time just proof reading your show before publishing. My tip for show balance and flow is this: Grab a side of lined A4 at the top write down your match combatants. so for example. Edge Vs RVD Then in the side column write each number down the page 1-24 and do the same continuing on the other side until you reach about 38-40 In slot 1+2 have the intro for wrestler 1 In slot 3+4 have the intro for wrestler 2 Then have from 5 on wards the move sets for your match (write this in pencil first so that if you want to edit or change something you can erase it out). Just like a short story your matches should have a beginning, a middle and an ending. Think about the move sets of the characters you're using in the ring, if need be re watch DVDs and practice those move sets in the ring with your figures. You're working with highly articulated figures and with practice and patience you'll get a better flow, variety of move sets and a much better product at the end. If you would like, please message me when show #3 is out. I do like the direction your show is heading and it's 95% positive! RAW P.S I'll send you an example via PM of the show structure i used in my fed, by all means copy the layout if you think it will help extend those future matches.

Hogan arrives! Great addition to the fed man.. Woah, didn't see that attack coming! Why Bryan why?! Great way to throw hogan into a feud.. Good opener between edge and punk, loved the kick that sent Edge crashing outside.. Bit of an awkward ending pose with the GTS and the ropes, but I see where you're going making punk cheat. Haha! Here comes Van Dam and the missus! Oo damn, Mrs Rey Rey! Ha dude I'm loving where this is going! A tad dissapointing how short E vs Mankind was, good to see the feud with Khali continue to build mind. Lol, ahhh and they're blaming their wives for causing it in the first place. This is gold. Again, I felt we didn't see enough of a match before the chaos ensued in the main event. Good way to introduce Triple H at the end, but I was confused as to wether Daniel Bryan is a face, heel or a bit of both? Rock/Brock are certianly heels so it was odd to me for Bryan to face them after such a heelish attack on Hogan. We'll see! Another entertaining show man
