No. Roman Reigns had a good match with Daniel Bryan. That much is true. It does NOT in any way indicate that he is ready to main event WrestleMania right now. He's average in the ring and below average on the microphone. Neither will change within the next five weeks. Going ahead with Brock vs. Roman is a mistake. D-Bry is GREAT in the ring.... but AVERAGE on the mic. |

Another thing. Bryan was jerked around by the authority for over a year. Got stripped of the title and almost had to retire. He came back with the heartfelt promo of the year, with the crowd behind him. That storyline was tailor-made for WrestleMania.
When Roman came back he struggled against wrestling Fandango... Fandango.

D-Bry is GREAT in the ring.... but AVERAGE on the mic. Still better than Roman Reigns at both. Disagree. Roman & D-Bry are about the same on the mic.... But that's not saying much lol D-Bry is way better than Roman in the ring.. However... Roman has that "Vince Look" something that D-Bry does NOT have and will NEVER have. So, Roman Wins. But like I said earlier. I'm okay with this. He's a better worker than Cena. Im alright with him being the next guy. |

I'm sorry but Bryan totally carried Roman in that match (and I actually like Roman too). Roman was sloppy with a few things. The finish was the only time I felt Roman was pulling his own. I'm disappointed with WWE's decision to keep shoving Roman down our throats again but oh well.

Yes because getting your ass kicked the whole match and winning out of nowhere with one move ala Cena style, is such a huge improvement /sarcasm.
Once he gets his own music, unique ring gear, and pretty much distances himself from the shield then I'll believe in his character more.
Once WWE starts booking this green tomato, then I wont complain

Like I said after the Rumble I wasn't mad about Roman being the guy. I think he is super unproven and time will tell if he can handle being rushed to the top like this.
My frustration is with how some of my other favorites are used. I would have killed for just Rollins/Ziggler tonight but they saddle those two with 4 of the least appealing people. Rollins/Orton at Mania will be good but what does Ziggler do now?
Wyatt/Taker feels like a no win situation
Don't get me started on Ambrose's PPV matches.
So while I'm a little more on Roman's side (or rather more willing to wait and see how it plays out) most of my displeasure right now is with how broken everything else is.

I can't seriously be the only one who thought Reigns looked really gassed during several parts of the match. I thought for sure he was going to botch the apron dropkick right before he did it. He looked really out of breath mid way through the match.
I agree with whoever said earlier that how is Reigns supposed to be a believable force against Brock when he struggles in matches with everyone. If they were going to full fledge push Reigns, they should of gone for it. Instead since he's been back, he's been saved by Rock, and barely gotten past any of his opponents. He's had about 5 count out victories over Big Show, how does that make you look strong?
I'm sorry but when he beats Lesnar at Mania, it just won't be believable IMO.
