I'm not going to get too excited yet, but I've been hoping for a Malenko, so fingers crossed.
Also, if IRS is true, maybe that's where we'll finally see the tag belts. He has few decos and would mostly be reused parts, so I could even see both with him.

Who the f*ck is Dean Malenko?! Shelf-warmer alert! He's the "Man of a Thousand Holds" or to put it another way, "The Man Who Gave a Thousands Reasons to Change the Channel During the Monday Night Wars." I never sat through any of his matches. Eventually when I saw him coming down the aisle I immediately switched to Raw. So obviously I won't buy him, but people have been asking for him, so if I'm happy for them and happy for my figure budget. He'd have to come with an exceptional accessory for me to buy him. I'm thinking he'll come with 4 Horseman shirt, which would be tempting. |

I will buy dean malenko but its a strange choice The Iceman was his gimmick. He was a no-frills wrestler who got in the ring and outperformed everyone on the roster. He was one of the greatest wrestlers of his era and always reliable to have a great match with whoever he was in the ring against. Anyways, I'm really excited about getting both Malenko and IRS. I felt that IRS would come sooner or later, but Malenko is a bit of a surprise, if true. |

People need to stop crapping on Dean Malenko. If this isn't a real line up it may hurt his chances to be released later and he's one of my top wants.
It seems that people forget just how popular he was during his run in WCW. Especially in his feud with Jericho.

A guy like Malenko helps make the Jerichos and Guerreros special and he was a WCW mainstay since 95. Malenko was cool enough he didn't need a silly gimmick like he was saddled with in WWF. All he had to do was get in the ring and beat down cruiser weights.

I'm stoked to be getting another WCW guy, especially a guy who is lower on the card, when building a roster you need lower card guys to make it more realistic. |

I would totally buy Dean Malenko. That being said, there shouldn't be a single former WWF/E champion who hasn't been made before guys like him. Where's Sycho Sid? Where's Chris Jericho? These guys should be top priority for MattelDesignTeam. We definitely need flashback midcarders, but I think there are bigger names who could be easily made due to their positive relationship with WWE. |
