People need to stop crapping on Dean Malenko. If this isn't a real line up it may hurt his chances to be released later and he's one of my top wants. It seems that people forget just how popular he was during his run in WCW. Especially in his feud with Jericho. If I were him, I'd be fed up of having to keep washing myself lol. |

After getting Sting, Hogan, Flair and Razor, I'm OK with Mattel spreading out the remaining big guns a bit to keep retailer interest up. I'd be thrilled with more tag teams Flashbacks though.

Dean Malenko had great matches with Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero, Juventuud Guerrera to name but a few. A great in ring technician for ECW, WCW, WWE winning titles in all 3 such as ECW TV, WCW Cruiserweight and WWF/E Light Heavyweight. He wasn't a great promo man but more than made up for it in the ring. Off the top of my head PWI ranked him as number 1 in either '97/98
While younger viewers may not remember him its guys like Malenko that made Y2J, Eddie and others into better wrestlers. Anyone wanting to check him out his 95 feud with Eddie stands out to me

Agreed, while I won't be getting him...he definitely deserves a flashback figure. I'm going to assume this Jericho will be from his Night of Champions attire; I hope he gets a new scan. It's exciting to see Neville, Breeze and Malenko making it into the lineup!

I really hope the steph in elite 37 is her summerslam attire we saw in the gentile giant video and the basic 51 will be a suited steph.

I would totally buy Dean Malenko. That being said, there shouldn't be a single former WWF/E champion who hasn't been made before guys like him. Where's Sycho Sid? Where's Chris Jericho? These guys should be top priority for MattelDesignTeam. We definitely need flashback midcarders, but I think there are bigger names who could be easily made due to their positive relationship with WWE. The thing is that if you made all of the main event guys before the mid card guys, the line would end. You have to mix it up tokeep everyone coming back. On top of that, for something like this it's not about who deserves what. It's about who they have rights to make. In the case of Sid, he is not a WWE employee while Malenko is. I'm not sure Jericho's current status, but I would love to see more figures of him, especially from WCW or his Undisputed title win. |

Don't quote me, but I think it was confirmed that Steph will be in her SS attire for B51. However, it would make a lot of sense for her to be in a suit for B51 and save the SS attire for the elite line seeing as it's highly detailed. |

The only reason for me buying anything from the basic series is the NXT guys. I like that the basic series is getting something that's just for them, similar to how most of the time we get flashback figures it's in the Elite series. I can't wait for Dean Malenko, Ambrose, Wyatt, basically most of the people. I might end getting everyone from these two Elite lineups, except Lesnar, who I already have, and IRS, who I'm not a big fan of, but if he has a classic World Tag Team title with him, I'll consider it.

I like these line-ups... especially the NXT guys, a Basic Sting, a new Tyson Kidd (finally!) and Elite 36. And a Hall & Nash Outsiders Battlepack is one of my main wants, so I really hope it's true!  Bill has said a couple of times that the next Defining Moments figure isn't Warrior... hasn't he? |
