Christian not being revealed as the attacker of Jeff Hardy around 08/09. I liked the Hardy vs Hardy matches a lot, but it would have been a great way to return to the WWE for Christian.

Most of the ones I'd have said have been mentioned so I'll got with a less obvious one...
Cena/Christian 2005. I've said it many times before but this was a huge missed opportunity. Christian was the first person to call cena out on tv for his short comings. Fans were beging to see cena go after him for the first 5 months of 2005. And when they finally moved cena to raw christian was used as a third wheel in the cena/jericho feud.
Christian was over big for a while in 2005. Former writers have said they expected to push Christian when cena moved to raw and Vince nixed the whole thing because he didn't see him as a top guy. By dropping this feud Vince missed out on making Christian a top guy and gaining Cena sympathy from the crowd. In 1998 Austin was screwed out of the title only a few months after winning it. He won it back the next night but loosing it only got the crowd even more behind steve. Bischoff could have used Christian to screw cena out of the title and cena chases Christian for a month nefote finally winning it back. This way cena doesn't loose the title for long, Christian is a top guy, and cena gains some sympathy for being screwed by the higher ups.

Nexus had no future. They where all green as grass. It worked out much better now. Better characters came from it later. The entire story of Jeff winning the MITB in 2008 because his dumbass got busted for drugs again. I agree they were green but that doesn't mean the storyline had to turn into sh*t.

They brought back RVD in 2013 & instead of having him feud with CM Punk as Heyman Guys they let injured Punk wrestle Ryback and Axel as heyman guys and RVD wasted his return on matches with Del Rio who left the following year

Nexus. They effed it up so bad that I quit watching for several months out of disgust. It could've been one of the best things ever. What would you have done with it?

Then he won the match against two guys. Edge & Jericho tried talking Cena out of it and mentioned how stupid it was but he wouldn't listen.

Kofi Kingstons whole career. Agreed. Coulda done something in late '09/early '10 with Orton, possibly bringing out a side of him that we haven't seen (kinda what they tried to do leading up to SvS but on a grander scale). Maybe stretch it out till 'Mania and if they were so hellbent on turning Orton face they coulda teased a double-turn at WM...possibly give him a mouthpiece and he's made.

Austin and HBK vs Hart Foundation in 1997. Probably the most excited I've ever been for a pairing, but was short lived due to HBK and Hart altercation. However, that DX thing did turn out alright.
Who DUN it angle where Rikishi was revealed to have ran down Austin. Think it was suppose to be Billy Gunn but he got injured, however, I wish they would have went a different route and actually made a top heel out of it.
NWO in 2002, UGHHHH
Sting's Return to ring against Hogan, No brainer
Kane's return after being destroyed by the Wyatt family, they never even mentioned it I believe

How Rock/Austin/HHH never had a triple threat is beyond me.
'Wrestling Machine' Angle in 2006 vs. Brand New (to WWE) CM Punk.
Keeping the Streak to 25-0 with the 25th match being vs. Cena for the WWE title.
DX reunion vs. NWO (just delay HHH's heel turn on HBK in 2002 by a couple of months).

Playing off what you said, a proper trilogy of matches with HBK vs the Hitman while DX feuds with the Hart Foundation in the background could have lasted a year or two (on and off, of course).
