14 seconds. She shouldn't get a second chance. Well here's my reasoning. I think she was just overzealous and made a gamble. I don't think that was representative of the challenge she could actually give Rousey. All those other girls in the division were dominated because they just didn't have a chance. Zingano is known for her striking ability and she never got to show that. Yes that is her fault, but out of everyone in the division, she is the only one who has even a semblance of a chance to challenge Rousey. She didn't lose that quickly because she was THAT outmatched, it was because she took a huge gamble and lost. I'm not saying she could beat Rousey, but I'd bet that she could last a lot longer than 14 seconds if she got another stab at it. Either way, props to Ronda. Might be the best fighter ever. |

I feel bad for Cat Zingano since she's been through a lot but she doesn't deserve an instant rematch. if she wins her next fight then she should get a rematch.

I was gutted for Cat - I really wanted her to win, or at least put up a good fight. I'd like to see her get another chance sometime (who else is there?)... I guarantee, she'd put up a much better fight. This time, she took a chance that she really shouldn't have... as Brock learnt, it's best not to rush things and just let the fight happen at a natural pace.

Rousey's weight class is essentially vacant. Almost instantaneous I realized that high knee into the Fosbury Flop would result in Zingano's demise. The route of any ground tactics on someone this well-rounded with an armbar, virtually thoughtless imo.

Why should anyone get an instant second chance when you go out of your game plan and lose at your own fault?
Ronda is the top dog and will be for a looooooong time.

Whether Cat circled around the cage for a minute or bullrushed Ronda the result was inevitable either way. I guess she thought she could surprise her with a running knee, but I think the surprise was weakened when coming from the further distance you'll be in the whole fight, the very beginning.
Yeah, Ronda is THAT good.

Officially 14 seconds. Honestly i saw Zingano tapping out at second number 11.
Anyway Ronda is unstoppable at the moment, i can't see a fighter that can stand in her way right now.
It would be interesting if they could bring up the fight against Cyborg, but she should lost a little bit of weight to compete against Ronda.

Felt bad for Cat, too. But Rousey is just getting better and better after each fights. In my opinion, there is no one left in the UFC women's bantamweight roster that can make a good match against Ronda. You guys thing thwre will be a chance for a Rousey - Cyborg fight? Can Cyborg make it to bantamweight?
