Okay, hear me out. I like Erick Rowan. I think he's improved a lot, and he looks badass too. But, watching Survivor Series 04 last night, I had an idea.. What if Erick Rowan was used like Heidenreich? Obviously, the Heidenreich character didn't work out too well, mainly because the actual Heidenreich wasn't the best in the ring, but I have a feeling it might work with Rowan. Insane, violent, psychotic tough guy who kicks ass in the ring, but reads poetry outside of it. I think it could work well. So you want him to be Harper who reads poetry? There was no reason to split the Wyatts up. There's absolutely nothing for Rowan and Harper to do and Bray Wyatt's character needs minions. |

I just noticed that it's a shame that fans have to try to come up with so many ideas for WWE Superstars....
Because WWE never does anything with them.

Imo, they've missed the boat so far on him. With the sheep mask, and his somber strangeness-- Rowan could be the next Mankind. Have him sit in the basement of the arena or boiler room, delivering a soliloquy. Make him the quiet, bizarre, self-harming (but less dark, different era here) character that won over the fans. I mean, TNA was successful for the most part following the same blueprint with Abyss. WWE hasn't had a sick, tortured face character in a good long while. Plus, then he wouldn't have to do his weird sneering as he talks about hating bullies. This idea, along with new attire. Don't get me wrong the coveralls are cool, but i think he needs new attire. |

I might be the only one but I find him extremely boring and lacking in character, talent and charisma when compared to Harper or Wyatt. None of Rowan's stuff has been able to stick and I serioisly struggle to see him as any kind of significant player even in the mid card. Despite their efforts, he's not someone I could get behind and it seems like most of the audience hasn't either. I don't see him staying around for much longer at this rate.

Here's an idea for Rowan..
Cut him. He's worthless. His talent is minimal and he doesn't strike me as a guy with longevity in the business.. He won't be a future main event player, he barely makes mid-card. He's not any good.
He's just not.
