So how do know if you have a 1/12 tazz or a 1/3000 or just another tazz figure? I have seen many post and looked it up on the internet as well and I cannot find any correct answer. I understand they have towel around waist with sticker, no sticker, and towel to the side. So can anybody tell me the difference since i am coming up dry.

Wow this is news to me, to my knowledge there was never a 1/12 Jakks Employee exclusive Tazz. Jakks however did package the towel in the different ways you mentioned, I recall them doing that with several other figures too (It's something they'd do for God knows whatever reason lol)

Well that helps....i getting back into collecting and been out of the circle for awhile so i needed clarification. Ive found this on multiple websites and ebay and im not one just to take what i read. Thank you

Be careful though, because a lot of those "sealed" Tazz Exclusive Towel Variants are just a regular variant that they've opened with the towel added onto the figure to jack up the price, just hoping that someone will bite.

Man I wanna say that tazz was a 1/3000. Didn't ringside open some of the packages to move the towel to the side like it was supposed to be?

Yea thats what i was asking since some had the towel around waist and some to the side but i gave up on getting it since there was not enough info on it. Still curious though lol

it was a 1/3000. i had gotten one YEARS ago, and my towel was off to the side. didn't matter, i am/was a loose collector, lol

Sorry for bumping an old topic but still relevant in what I want to ask. I was first wondering if these exclusive are worth anything loose and without towel accessory? I picked up one of these last fall at a local wrestling show and it was one of the Ringside Employee Exclusive versions. It seems you can tell if it is legit or not by looking at the placement of the Ringside Exclusive sticker on the packaging. The employee version has the sticker placed opposite on the packaging (left side) compared to the regular version, so you can tell if it is legit or not. I doubt there is any way to pull that sticker off without destroying it.

I believe the story was Tazz wasn't particularly fond of the towel being around his waist because it looked like he was wearing a skirt, so the towel was moved elsewhere. I'm not sure how many waist variant Tazz figures exist but I have seen an influx of them recently.
