I don't feel like you truly understand any of it... It's pretty similar to the Reigns argument. Not pleased with the (lack of) development of (otherwise talented) wrestlers. Booing is the only way to voice that displeasure. No I get it I understand I just dont think booing the talent helps anything. Apparently it did help Reigns gain some sense of character. Now he's the smarmy douche who talks back to fans in interviews and takes beatings like a boss. Without being booed to death, the Rock never would have become the Rock either.

Well when the divas got that 30 second match fans went on twitter and wanted divas to get more time and now they are.I'm not saying start another trend but still. Fans rallying for women to get better treatment on their programming is completely different than "We don't like this gimmick." SO again, how are fans supposed to voice displeasure? Complaining on twitter is about as helpful as complaining on WF I don't know.I just don't like booing a talent when they were handed Something and are out there trying there best to atleast make it look good.

I think it's possible to get the baby face New Day group over with today's fans.
What I would do is book them similar to the "heel" version of Bo Dallas's super positive BOLIEVE character only without the heel tactics.
What I mean is, kind of book them how they are now, only super over the top.
BOLIEVE got over because we were suppose to boo him. He was booked like an 80's face though. Today, it's almost like fans do the opposite of what they're "supposed" to do.
So book New Day like over the top 80's faces you're supposed to boo, and today's fans will cheer them.

I'm hoping WWE tweaks their gimmick and makes it interesting, but I'm not holding my breath.

What's their point on being together? Why they formed this trio? What they want? Just because they're 3 guys singing some gospel and dance they have a point to be there? They're not interesting at all.
That's why people don't like them.

I think they're fine as faces, as long as they had more to the character. Not everyone needs to turn heel to be interesting.

I love the New Day!!
Every time they appear on my TV for a match I get to get up and go take a piss break or get a drink and some food.

They started with xavier and kofi on commentary being really confident and almost malcolm x style. Then they come out one day to boring music and different gimmick. They should have kept the militancy and the theme needs more organ

Posted this in Banter, but I'll go ahead and share it here. My booking scenario for the New Day.
I initially said that I would turn New Day heel due to the fan reception. Big E primarily acts as the body guard to Kofi and Woods, getting involved in their matches for their benefit. The Lucha Dragons defeat Kidd and Cesaro for the Tag Team Titles, and once that program is finished, Kalisto and Sin Cara feud with the New Day. The trio plays the race card slightly. Not to the extent of the Nation of Domination, but they do claim that one of the reasons they formed the unit was to fight for equality. However, they contradict that statement by basically turning tag team matches into Handicap matches. They want equality, yet that's exactly what they don't allow their opponents. New Day defeats The Lucha Dragons for the Tag Team Championships and defend the titles under the Freebird Rule. Shortly after, The Usos return and begin to feud with New Day. Kofi, Woods and Big E say that while they're being denied opportunities to succeed due to their race, Jimmy and Jey have been granted opportunities solely because of their Samoan heritage. After losing a title match, The Usos point out the contradiction thing that I mentioned earlier. To even the odds and give the New Day the equality that they've been clamoring for, The Usos bring in NXT's most recent signing, Samoa Joe. Joe debuts and immediately confronts New Day, staring down Big E while Jimmy and Jey face off with Woods and Kingston. In a perfect scenario, this would get a HUGE reaction from the crowd. With Joe in the corner of The Usos, they manage to defeat New Day for the Tag Team Titles on an episode of Raw. The blow off for the feud finally comes on PPV, preferably SummerSlam. The Usos and Samoa Joe defeat New Day in a Six Man Tag. Following that, The Usos move on to something else as Tag Team Champions, New Day have a ton of momentum as heels, and Joe immediately moves up the card.

I love The New Day. I love Kofi and I love Xavier, I'm not a HUGE Big E fan, but he's good and I don't DISlike him. The New Day is something fun and new, and if you're saying you don't have a reason to cheer them because they're not going to get pushed, IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT CHEERING THEM.

Complaining on twitter is about as helpful as complaining on WF I don't know.I just don't like booing a talent when they were handed Something and are out there trying there best to atleast make it look good. This isnt like a movie or a TV show where you are given a piece and make the best out of it, theres so much more to it. What you do in that ring is to have the crowd react. If you are supposed to be a good guy/team and the crowd not only doesnt care for it but goes out of their way to Boo the sh*t out of it, then something is wrong with that character. New Day has flopped as a face team, so you either go a different direction with them or you separate them. And dont feel bad for the talent, Im sure they would rather the fans boo them then sit on their asses doing nothing.

I really like Kofi and Woods, as a team, but I also prefered them, when they were less about 'preaching and clapping etc.'

It is a bad gimmick, period. It is like something bad they would attempt in 95 or 96 and should be eradicated FAST
