This stipulation makes no sense. This is why WWE is losing fans, because they constantly insult the intelligence of their fans. People like me who have watched for over 20 years feel like it's starting to become a waste of time at this point. The roster is as talented now as it EVER has been. But WWE has no idea what to do with these guys. Dean Ambrose is floundering in mid card hell. Bray Wyatt hasn't had a good story in almost a year. Luke Harper is being WASTED. Dolph Ziggler is being WASTED. Cesaro should be on his own. The man is super talented. But no, let's have Big Show vs. Roman Reigns for the 50th time. I feel like bs vs reigns is the new vena vs orton...

Writing like this is exactly why Batista and Jericho want to do house shows instead of TV...

How about a "Dictionary" match so Sheamus can learn that it's "Kiss My Arse" instead of "Kiss Me Arse" match. "kiss me arse"(and its many variations) is a popular slang term in Ireland(and some parts of England). so he IS saying it right......BUT I genuinely don't expect anybody that isn't from here to get that. So I completely understand where the confusion be coming from....LOL.

You would know first hand being from there haha Just when I hear in my head "Kiss me arse, fella" in the voice of Sheamus it just sounds too funny. I guess we are lucky it wasn't a "Kiss me balls" match cause that would be a little too extreme! haha

The match has a dumb stipulation (even though Vince loves his toilet humor). The only positive is that it doesn't have a pole involved.

As an Irishman I really hate how over played Sheamus is. Love the lad, truly do, but I hate stereotypes. Perhaps it's because I have en English Mum that I identify more with British culture, but good grief I hate that a wrestler can't just be a wrestler or defined by their craft or their personalities.
So this Irish based match or the Russian chain match, I just don't care for it. Any of it.

This idea is just dumb. It's completely idiotic. Vince is sitting there thinking oh, it's so FUNNY! It's such a great idea. Wrestling fans aren't that even that smart. Oops I mean "sports-entertainment" Wrestling doesn't exist! Vince just loves kissing ass doesn't he? Vince is an out of touch, no good, bottom feeding, trash bag of person. He needs to get out of the wrestling buisness, along with the creative team, Once all of WWE's idiots are gone, we can finally go back to proper, great, WRESTLING. No more of this stupid "sports entertainment" bull! No more kiss me ass matches or whatever the heck it is. Somebody seriously needs to get fired. Also, think of all of the talent WWE has, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose, Ziggler, etc. and Vince and the team think we would rather have Cena win againts the likes of the younger talent! Lulz, the term 'sports entertainment' isn't going anywhere...

Only thing worse would be a "Pole in me Arse" match.

I hate how overplayed Sheamus can be as too......I know tons of people from Cabra in Dublin and Vinnie is obviously telling Sheamus to really yak up his accent.

Not a fan. It only worked for about two minutes when Vince was at his height as a heel character to totally demean his enemies. This is dumb and out of place. This is why I have the network to exclusively watch classic wrestling and consider the PPVs a free bonus prize on top of my classic wrestling meal.

Right now there are less people into professional wrestling than at any point in the history of the business. If wwe wasn't publicly traded and making money from investors they would be on life support right now. We are in one of the biggest valleys ever in wrestling history.

This stipulation makes no sense. This is why WWE is losing fans, because they constantly insult the intelligence of their fans. ...they aren't losing fans. Not even close to it. Yeah, I mean, they kinda are.....there are less people watching wrestling now than there were even 5-10 years ago, and significantly less than during he late 90's. And for every kid fan WWE gets, they probably lose 5 fans who are in their late 20's - 30's + because the current WWE product is just not appropriate for adults anymore. I'm not saying I need extreme violence or swearing or sexually explicit storylines, because I am very against all of that and I think it was a stain on the Attitude Era. But there has to be some kind of middle ground between Nickelodeon-style television and hardcore sex and violence. WWE for whatever reason has never seemed to be able to find that middle ground. It's either been cartoon character wrestlers, or porn stars, pimps, and ho's. Either the storylines are funny and cartoonish, or somebody is having sex with a dead body. There has to be a happy medium. Even now, things like people stealing the IC Title to build up the ladder match....that was ridiculous. It all centered around R-Truth. Things like Dean Ambrose stealing the MITB and then Seth Rollins opening it and getting hit with green slime....that is straight out of Nickelodeon! I'm a 30 year old male who has been watching for 22 years, I want something that has a little more realism to it, but that is still appropriate for families to watch.

What on earth are you talking about with the WWE losing 5 fans and gaining 1? The ones that stick around are the adults, they're the hardcore fan base that will despite their best efforts continue to watch WWE and pour money into the product. As for children, to say that 1 new fan joins as 5 stop is absolutely ridiculous. I don't think you realise that new kids are tuning in weekly, whereas WWE loses a lifelong fan once every couple of weeks when they've decided its enough. WWE is reaching the middle ground right now, how you don't see that is remarkable to me. To say that WWE is anything close to Nickelodeon style is crazy as its the perfect hybrid of those two types of TV you mentioned. The stealing of the Intercontinental championship story wasn't great, but at least it made some sense in the fact that people were getting victories over Barrett and then feeling as though they were the unofficial champion. I'm a 17 year old male who has been watching for 10 years, I don't particularly enjoy the product nowadays as the product seems to drag, but to say that the style of wrestling we see nowadays is ridiculous.

Well yeah, compared to the wrestling boom period in the 80s and 90s, the biz in general isn't doing great. Compared to where they were at his point a year ago, they're doing very well, and the recent records they've broken when it comes to profit show that they're doing perfectly fine. You may think that WWE is doing badly just because you don't enjoy it anymore, but at the same time as you and a few other fickle people on the internet not, there are millions of people that do. The wheel as CM Punk said will keep turning, WWE will continue to make money.

I fins it dumb sheamus is going around saying he's one of the only real men left in WWE and he wants the fake tam bleach blonde twink dolph ziggler to kiss is behind?
Not saying gay people can't be reap men, but the whole match screams homosexual overtones.
