Back in the spring NFL Films contacted me about my starting lineup collection (Football only of course), and wanted to come to me and do an interview. They actually came for a pre interview, visited one of my ice cream shops and then came for the tv interview. It was about a 5 or 6 hour process and one of the greatest things I ever had the experience to with my "toys". Well, the time has come and the air date is set. It's not a super long interview and only a half hour show (I am not on for the entire show, only a part). The name of the show is "NFL Films Presents" and the title of this episode will be "The Long And Short Of It" Thursday, November 19th, 10:30 a.m. Eastern time on fox sports 1 Friday, November 20th, 3:00 p.m. Eastern time on fox sports 1 Saturday, November 21st, 10:30 a.m. Eastern time on NFL Network. If you can check it out, it would mean a lot to me! Please share! Thank you! DVR is set and can't wait to check it out! Now that I saw the pic of the stands, I did have 2 of the basketball ones. I can't remember who was on mine but my dad had Patrick Ewing, Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Charles Barkley, and Larry Bird on his display stand. Nivro™, nice MOC 49ers. I love the feeling of tearing the boxes. Haha

Awesome! Hope you enjoy the show!
The stands are so much fun. They only hold a few figures but it's makes it interesting to keep switching out.

curch, watched the special after work today. Really enjoyed it, just wish was longer and showed more of your collection. I love that they had former players talking about wanting to own their own figure. Haha. I'd love to see that box of 20 Cris Collinsworth's. Haha. I never new about the whole head fiasco of Fouts. I was happy to see it end with my childhood hero "Headless" Bo Jackson.

Glad you watched and enjoyed it. I wish they would have showed more of my collection too. They took so much video and interviewed me for almost 2 hours. But I really enjoyed it and it was a chance of a lifetime that I I'll never forget.

How do you have your loose collection organized. I noticed you shuffling through a bin of loose figures in ziplock baggies but they didn't look like they were by team. Is there a method to your madness? By team, by year, by worth?

I keep my figures in ventilated acid free bags. All of those loose figures you saw on the show are normally in these bags. Before the show, the producer just told me to pick out random figures. I took them out of the bags and put them in top of those cases. And in those showcases are my prototypes. But that box that you saw, that is where I keep all my bagged figures. I have a box (same kind) for each sport.

Hmmm, I wonder if it would be nicer than my afa 75? I am glad you got one! I got it today. It's not in mint shape, so I doubt it would grade higher than what you have. It has some slight bubble peeling and damage to the card. I don't feel too bad popping it open.

Ive yet to pop any of my recent SLU purchases from their carding. Its so hard to. I might wait until I have all of them I need/want and then do an opening party like I did with my McFarlanes.

Boredom and eBay are a bad but so good combination. Haha. Picked up the 3 remaining White Sox Bo Jackson's, Yankees Jim Abbott, Jack Clark, Jesse Barfield, Tino Martinez, and Wade Boggs. I'll be posting pics when the mail man drops them off.

I forgot how nasty that dude was. I looked up his starting lineup while watching it and saw he's going for about $40-$50 loose.

They're also the ones Ill probably look for loose and then just open everything that I have right now. I literally have nowhere to hang anything else in this room though. Its filled almost from ceiling to floor with 49ers stuff

Nivro™, that's where I'm at with my Raiders collection. Got all the McFarlanes and the last few Starting LineUp's range between $35-$400. Luckily the priciest Yankees I need aren't more than $20.

T R W, that's a crazy price. I'm in the same boat for a raiders Marc Wilson. He was going for $405 since the beginning of the summer but just jumped to $465 a couple weeks ago.
