Jimmy Rave is being brought in for this? At least they won't be spending over $40 for him to work.

Scott Hall recently showed up at an event drunk. Hopefully he doesn't let his demons get the best of him, and he turns it around in time for GFW's launch.

Such a shame about Scott Hall. I really hope he can turn it around again, it was a shame to see him go in this direction as his Razor Ramon work was absolutely fantastic, as was his early WCW Outsiders stuff.

Lot of repetition with some of these matches...but Corny will be there for a few shows so that's cool...

I hope Moose has a lengthy career in the indys before going to a WWE or TNA.

I'm so sad to hear that Scott Hall relapsed. I hope DDP hasn't given up on Scott Hall and helps him recover again. Scott Steiner in Global Force Wrestling is good, at least that's a name that casual fans might recognize, so I'm fine with it despite him being in his 50's. I read (on Wiki) that GFW will have a World Heavyweight, Tag Team, Cruiserweight and Women's titles. I tried checking somewhere else if it's true, but couldn't find anything. If they do have a Cruiserweight division, I can see that division being filled mostly with AAA guys and Justin Gabriel/PJ Black. If they will have a Women's title, they better grab a bunch of women from SHIMMER/Shine Wrestling/WSU, or build a working relationship with one of those companies, cause Rosita and Lei'D Tapa is not enough to build a women's division on. I also read on the GFW website that Jim Duggan is on the roster. Even though he's a name, ugh, no interest in seeing him wrestle. If he was in as a road agent helping the young guys with their matches and every once and a while appearing on the shows, that's fine. I'll wait and see what he does on GFW. I'm still liking the roster, and I'm glad they signed a big name like Scott Steiner, but he's still not enough to sell out these live events and get a TV deal, which I still haven't heard of any TV network wanting to pick up GFW. I still think AXS TV would be a great network for GFW to go on. I'm not sure how available AXS TV is to cable companies. I remember before I got AT&T U-Verse, I had Direct TV's basic schedule, maybe one up, and I had AXS TV, so maybe they grow in availability, correct me if I'm wrong. Hopefully they grab a great TV deal if they want to be looked at as more than an indy promotion.

He's the guy who built TNA and he's most likely going to try and give GFW a unique identity with the cruiserweight division like he did with TNA. A great midcard is something WWE hasn't utilized enough recently. TNA has one, but is kind of messing it up by throwing them into faction storylines. PJ Black could be a great star if GFW wants to book him that way.

PJ Black could be a great star if GFW wants to book him that way. I'm not doubting Jarrett is smart and will do great things with GFW. However, they really don't have a lot of names that will attract TV networks to want them and will sell the arenas Jarrett booked for those live events before the "TV tapings". Scott Steiner is one of those names. The rest of the names are on the indies currently. GFW to me is a combination of the NWA because of their working agreements and a high level indy promotion because of who they have on their roster, and I'm not knocking the roster, because I like their roster (except for the women's division, which they should scout SHIMMER, Shine Wrestling, WSU). Hopefully Jarrett can get a TV deal that the majority of the country can get, even if Jarrett has to pay for that time slot like TNA did with Fox Sports Net back in 2004. I also hope they don't get disappointing attendance at those ball parks, though it wouldn't shock me if they do. I actually like that they might have a Cruiserweight division, and if I were them, I'd make PJ Black the top Cruiserweight in that division before slowly building him on to the Heavyweight/World Title division. I would wait until they have a TV deal before getting a mid card title. I would try and build the names of those on the roster who don't really have a following.

I have no doubt GFW will build some stars, but I agree that if they are trying to go this big, they need to get a guy like Rey Mysterio, Johnny Mundo, etc. in there.

Having a talent deal with SHIMMER, WSU or SHINE is a good idea to help GFW I reckon...it's a good start at the very least I guess...

If they want a women's division, this would be a great start to do so, cause Lei'D Tapa vs. Thea Trinidad will get boring after the 10th time since they are the only two women signed to GFW.

I definitely think this is one of the keys to making it an enjoyable show. A great women's division would really set them apart, as well as a solid tag division and midcard.
