At this point it is just a rumor, but the talk going around is that not only would Dean Ambrose turn heel but Roman Reigns as well.
The decision to add Ambrose to the title match that late seemed odd to me at least so maybe there are some legs to this.
If this actually happens it would get me back to watching on a regular basis again.

So the Shield, which fought against the Authority, would join the Authority?
Big Show, where you at?!?
I'd like a Shield reunion, but it'd be a bit difficult to logically understand at this point unless Rollins turned face and stayed face with the rest of the former Shield.

Also, this would leave us with exactly 1 main-event caliber face atm, which is Randy. So unless you majorly bump up Dolph, have Cena drop the mid-card stuff or bring back Brock sooner, it would be Randy vs. All of the Shield and Authority until Summerslam?
Not digging it.
We need the Shield apart longer before they reunite and have it mean something.

Rollins has been on his own for less than a year, and even on his own he's still really in a faction with all of the Authority members always with him. I don't think it's a good idea to re-form The Shield less than a year after the breakup.
The Wyatt Family should get back together because they are all floundering on their own....but all of the former Shield members are doing well.

Gen...ius? I don't think you can turn Ambrose. What would you have him do? Shake hands with Triple H?

I guess we would have to wait to see how they did it, but, assuming, you're going to put the Shield back together, wouldn't you turn Rollins face? With Rollins you can write it all off as him losing sight of what was important for the cost of winning the title. Turning Reigns and Ambrose heel makes them look like total idiots.
I love the Shield. I really won't be complaining if they put them back together but unless they are going after the Authority, who would be left without Rollins, then the timing really doesn't make sense.
Also, we just saw an amazing match between Ambrose and Rollins. Two if you saw the previous one on Smackdown. Why on Earth don't we want to see Ambrose win MITB and go after Rollins? Oh, that's right, we do.
Turning one of them, that being Reigns or Ambrose, makes more sense. Reigns is best served as the corporate guy. Turn him heel and let him take the title off Cena or Bryan. He can be a part of the Authority and continue to build his star. There's always a Plan B.

Having them all heel would be a move I completely disagree with right now.

Having them all heel would be a move I completely disagree with right now. I concur. I don't see the WWE turning Roman Reigns heel. The machine has invested a lot of time on Reigns. At this juncture, I don't want to see The Shield reform at all. The WWE would be going backwards instead of going forward.

I'm torn on this. I loved The Shield and would enjoy seeing them together again. But I'm also enjoying the solo work of all 3 right now and fear this may be a step backwards.
Reminds me of when Triple H left DX to move on to join the Corporation. He then feuded with DX only for them to reunite as a heel stable once he was solidified as a top star.

It's not the right time to bring The Shield back. It's not been long enough. Ambrose should only turn Heel if he gets a MAJOR push out of it, otherwise it's pointless. Reigns is still being groomed to take Cena's spot, so he'll probably be a Face for many, MANY years to come.

I want and expect a Shield reunion at some point down the line, but not for years. Remember when Rollins nearly killed Ambrose?

Big difference there is that HHH was the only main eventer in DX. With the Shield, all 3 of those guys are World Title talent. So one, or both, of them definitely takes a step back if they get the band back together.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the fatal four way is basically the former Shield vs. Randy Orton.... Something has to go down in that match.

Really torn on this...heel Ambrose is gold, heel Reigns could be gold...but the timings not right. Ambrose and Rollins are mortal enemies and it's not like they've had a proper ending...if anything the story has just begun with this two.
