Before I begin, is this nitpicking a little too much? Probably. Regardless... After looking at the DM Sting, it made me realise that for some odd reason, Mattel refuses to use the glove mold on guys that wear gloves, and instead, they just paint the hands black. In some cases, like Elite 25 Seth Rollins, it works, because he wore basically skintight gloves then, but on Basic 50 Rollins and most likely the upcoming Elite Rollins, they look wrong. See: Seth wears rather thick gloves with definition and detail on them (which, by the way, the gloved hands feature), so I believe not only him, but Sting, the upcoming Tyson Kidd, and any current superstar who wears gloves should have the glove mold instead of a regular hand casted in black.

It's not a nitpick. It's a problem that mattel has refused to do anything about for years. I don't know if it's ignorance, negligence, or just plain stupidity, but it's unacceptable for a line that supposedly prides itself on attention to detail.
Then again, every elite Big E has his feet on backwards, so clearly someone isn't paying attention.

They just look like standard leather gloves to me, which is why I let that one slide.

The Goldust gloves are still closer to it than the regular hands without detail.

I assume it's because they don't have a mold the size of Rollin's hands. That's not an excuse, but I think that's why. I'm hoping for a new mold for Seth Metal.

Every time I want to complain I stop and remember
"At least it's not Jakks."
Mattel dun spoiled all of you. We know how to swap parts and kids don't care either way do it's not an issue.
I await the post
"We shouldn't have to swap parts."
Then don't. It doesn't bother me, but if it does you there's a solution.

I am just going to guess with Sting he's right handed so his grip hand needs to be right for the bat handle with the left hand being the larger to hold the barrel of the bat. Goldust's/EG Taker's gloved hands are opposite. So I am fine with Sting's hands, because I would rather he holds the bat correctly on my shelves.

I have E26 Big E and it doesn't have it's feet on backwards.

Every time I want to complain I stop and remember "At least it's not Jakks." That has nothing to do with anything. My grandparents played with rocks and sticks. That doesn't suddenly make valid issues invalid.

Just looked at it again. You are right, they do have the straps backwards. I wasn't looking carefully when I made that other post. Wow Mattel, big mistake!

Again, if it's an isse simply swap some Goldust hands on it.

This bugs me too. I hate having to buy cheap old Miz figures just for gloves.

They should have the common professional sense to not let mistakes like that get out into the market place. And whether you want to admit it or not, the demographic isn't kids. Average age of a WWE viewer is like 40.1 years old.

And I repeat, miniscule details such as this is not a bother to children. To them they're just toys, but to us we can fix or add anything we choose. Not a big deal either way.

You are defending half-assed work because "maybe nobody will notice."
It does not matter who they're for.
It does not matter who will notice. It doesn't matter if you can fix it, because it shouldn't have to be fixed in the first place.
The facts are as follows:
The figure is wrong. It is flawed. Turning a blind eye to that doesn't change it, but it does encourage continued practice of putting bad products into the marketplace.
Additionally, these "children" don't have jobs to buy figures. Adults are buying them. Obviously they are toys and there will be overlap, but Mattel is in the business of making toys for adults, or they wouldn't put the "adult collector" tag on so many of their lines.

Look, you can say problems should be ignored all you want, but a problem you ignore is still a problem. I want to buy a new Seth Rollins figure, and I can't because these kinds of negligent oversights are a slap in the face to any intelligent consumer and shouldn't be applauded or supported.
