Just stay away from John Cena if you know what is good for your career. For once I thought things were going to be a little different when Cena kinda sorta put over Rusev when Cena passed out....but then Cena went ahead and beat Rusev the last 3 PPV's in a row and successfully buried him. The same will happen to anyone else. You can't walk out of a feud with Cena untouched

At WrestleMania XXXI, they gave us the cliché, distraction finish. At Extreme Rules, they gave us a match where pin's and submissions didn't count. At Payback, an I Quit match where Rusev didn't have to utter those words. People saying the X wrestler buried Y wrestler is such a cliché thing to do. I like what they've done with Rusev. I hope he is booked well and presented as a main eventer down the road.

How does losing thrice to Cena "bury" someone? The guy threw the face of the company around the ring for the last four months, if that isn't the antithesis of "buried", I don't know what is. "Buried" is getting a jobber entrance, losing a fifteen second squash match and only appearing on telly a few times a year. Zack Ryder got buried. Being in a championship storyline with the most important guy on the roster for nearly half a year is probably about as far away from "buried" as you can get.

I have no problem with guys looking different. Some of the best and my favorite wrestlers of all time were not ripped or very muscular. However this guy wears gym shorts and a tshirt. Thats what makes him look backyard. Also his stomach is so popped out it looks like he's pregnant and just drank a six pack and hasn't burped yet. And guys I know I will not win this with the crowd I'm speaking too. It wasn't my intention to start crap with you guys, but it is funny to see everyone jump to defend him right away. There goes that dumb "darling" term again. Who care if Kevin Owens is doesn't look like Batista? Not everyone has to look the same. It's fantastic that Owens looks different. He's agile as hell, can work, comes off as a legit badass and cuts a mean promo. He gives me a Vader vibe and there's nothing negative about that. If he looked like Batista they'd be bitching that he's just like everyone else.

He wore a singlet starting out when he was smaller than he is now, and it just looked weird. His attire fits his character. John Cena wears jean shorts and sneakers. Dean Ambrose wears a wife beater and jeans. Luke Harper wears a filthy tank top and jeans. Erick Rowan wears a jumpsuit. Bray Wyatt wears a tank top and dress pants. See where I'm going with this.

Brock Lesnar - Beat the ever-living SH*T out of Cena more than once. Beat him to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. CM Punk - Beat him for the WWE Title in his hometown and went on to hold the belt for 434 days.

the guy looks like a fat beer belly back yarder. This is true, but man, the guy's pretty convincing. Compare Kevin Owens talking to Dolph Ziggler talking on the same show (or Dolph Ziggler talking ever). Owens is actually believable and interesting as a character, even if he does look like a fan with their own backyard fed. I'm looking forward to this match more than either of the chambers.

One of the things I loved most about Owens promo the other night was that he referred to himself as a "Prize Fighter" like Lesnar. I thought it was a great line and made Owens seem like a legit dude. I'm not his biggest fan but it makes me laugh when people say hes fat and his gear looks bad. He looks like what a wrestler is supposed to look like and thats a man who will kick your ass. If I see Owens standing in a line with guys like Ryder, Cena, Ziggler, Rollins, etc I'm NOT picking Owens as the guy I want to fight.

I loved that moment on Monday when Owens powerbombed Cena, which I never expected. I honestly see him losing to Cena at Elimination Chamber and retaining tonight. Owens will get the majority of the offense in the match and Cena will win. I can see Owens losing strong despite losing so when he does make his main roster debut, he can pick up where he left off with Cena

However Rusev does not look better after this feud. He's lost on three straight PPVs, and even though he wasn't pinned at all, that looks bad. Now they're rushing him losing Lana too. The dude is in trouble. I don't blame Cena. But the booking has done him no favors.

I'll revisit this post at the end of this year to see how Rusev handled his lost feud against Cena

I understand what people are saying about Rusev being derailed by the Cena feud. Wyatt took a LOT of time to regain traction last year after the way he was booked against John.

Loved it. Owens is the man. He could be Cena's next CM Punk
