Balor is the number 1 contender for Owen's NXT title. Do you think he'll be NXT champ before he ever debuts on the main roster?

With Samoa Joe now looking to be feuding with Owens, I doubt it.

Samoa Joe says no.

Joe will take a small backseat here. Bálor will be champion before he is called up.

Does anyone have a prediction/estimate on when he'll debut?

Probably not, even though i'd like him to have even a short run.

I think Balor will suffer from poor timing. Kevin Owens looks to be a strong, long-running champion before he gets called up to the main roster full-time and I certainly can't see Balor not being called up within a year. And truthfully, not everyone that's awesome in NXT needs to hold the title at some point. A top level talent like Finn Balor not capturing the championship before leaving NXT kinda makes it more of an achievement to be champion.

Highly doubt it. I can't realistically see him beating Joe or Owens.

Joe probably won't stay in NXT, and if he does than Balor will lose and be called up. I think it's one or the other.
The one that makes it to the main roster quickest gets the grand prize of being ruined the fastest too, so that's always good.

Probably not. He's his own attraction, and clearly doesn't need the title to get over or sell merch. I have confidence Finn will be on the main roster within a year.

Doubt it by now but he doesn't need the belt. He'll be in the main roster very soon.

I doubt it. It would seem that they're trying to go in the direction of Owens-Joe after last night.

I voted yes, only because he deserves too. Do I expect it? No. Not after last night.

I don't think he will. There's too much hype and novelty around him in my opinion, and so I think he will have vignettes and the like and debut later this year.

Probably not. He's more likely to debut and win the IC/US Title immediately than he is to win the NXT Title at this point imo.

Prolly nah, but y'all need to chill with the Finn-rections 'round these parts. I love him as much as anyone...but the over-hyping of him here is getting tired.
He's got it all except mic skills. He needs to be developed and it needs to be a special moment when he debuts on the main roster. Really doesn't matter if he doesn't with the gold in NXT, people like him from a grassroots perspective a'la Jeff Hardy or AJ Styles. Doesn't need a title to be a fan favorite.
Also, he really needs to lose the stupid dreads during his entrance.

I'm amazed he hasn't been called up yet to be honest. Give that man an IC title and a slap on the ass and he's good to go.

I'm still holding on to my theory that he'll answer Cena's open challenge and win the US belt.
Just IMAGINE the reaction if he came out with that demon entrance from last night in a big arena on Raw. The place would explode!
