Bayley's tribute to Dusty from the NXT show last night in Pittsburgh. Is she British?

He didn't look too well the last time he was on RAW in February.

RIP Dusty. One of my favourite old school wrestlers. A great loss to the wrestling world.

Summer Rae's post on instagram is really touching. She's a cool girl. The NXT kids' posts have been really great. You can tell how much they truly enjoyed working with him. Posting the text from Summer here since I feel that everyone should read it. On a side note, I absolutely love that she tagged Rob Naylor in the post. She and him started in FCW around the same time and were always around Dusty on television. Not gonna lie, got a bit choked up reading that.

I will never forget dusty rhodes he was a big part in the battles of the 4 horseman it was always great to watch him on tv and in the ring. he is the creator of war games he gave so much to the business. another legend gone but never will be forgotten. definitely a man who bled for the business. just like flair. we dont see wrestlers like those men anymore. RIP.

Just sad about it still. He was such a personality and legend in this business. As I stated before, pre Hogan, there was no bigger star. He could go anywhere in the nation and sell out the arena and did.
Saw him in person numerous times, met and talked in passing when he was in Warner Robins with Turnbuckle. RIP.

Dustin Runnels wrote the following message on Facebook:
"Yesterday my father passed away with his four children, my daughter and his wife of 38 yrs. he was our hero and the greatest father in the world. He is the reason why I am who I am today. He taught me so so many lessons in life. He had 1 thing that he wanted to be and that was he wanted to be forever young. Now he is. Now he is dancing with angels in heaven. He was my mentor, my hero and a dad that I strive to be like. I love you dad. Thank you for all the overwhelmingly amount of love and support. He would have been on cloud 9 with this.
Thank you all. Dustin Runnels"

Truely gutted. In a sport where the word legend is used waaaaaay too much, Dusty is the true meaning of the word. RIP Dusty, thanks for everything you did over the years.

I feel like going on a Dusty Rhodes binge now. I've only had time to watch one match so far though.

Dusty lived the American Dream! He was the embodiment of the working class hero when he feuded with Flair and the Horsemen, The Koloffs, and even in the WWE against Ted DiBiase and Macho King Randy Savage. He will be missed.

Whenever his music hits and walks down the ramp, you cant help but smile and get chills. When he grabbed the mic, you believed everything he said. In the ring, he was a master. Everything he did was believable, and he could tell a story. His creative booking was so creative, and he was an absolute genius. His story with getting the Rhodes Brothers their jobs back is one of my favorite moments ever. Fueding with the Four Horsemen was phenomenal. He lived the Dream.
R.I.P Dusty, we'll never forget you.

I've always been a mark for Dusty color commentary. Both on WCW Saturday Night, and WWE's FCW.
I'm just glad I was able to see one of his last matches in person, 15 years ago. I was fifth row for ECW's Living Dangerously 2000, when Dusty met Steve Corino in a Bullrope match.
Never met the guy in person, but I always appreciated his charisma. The world lost another great one.

WWE will be paying tribute to Dusty Rhodes over the course of tomorrow's Money in the Bank PPV with special video tributes to the former NWA World champion, creative force and WWE Hall of Famer. WWE will also be playing video highlights of Rhodes' magnificent career over the course of Raw.
Following Raw, WWE will debut a new documentary "Tribute to A Dream" looking at Dusty's life and career on the WWE Network. WWE began filming new interviews for the documentary yesterday. Ric Flair was among those interviewed.

Flair Forever posted that Honky Tonk man told him that Dusty had stomach cancer and that WWE kept it quite...Reading this excerpt from Flair's interview, makes me wonder if there might be something to that...

Something that I noticed about Dusty recently is that IMO he looked rather frail as of late. In this video in which he was featured alongside Maria Menounos, it is just me or is he kind of jittery-looking? Anyways, RIP Dream. You will always be missed.
